“Chinese carryout is pretty good. I usually always get the same thing with slight variations. 5pc wings with fries or shrimp fried rice, mumbo sauce on everything. Sometimes I'll do fried shrimp with fries. We also have tried their veggie lo mein and that's really good. I'm never disappointed with these options. Only downside is they are cash only and no delivery.“

So i’m from NY and I love good Chinese food. Now that I live in Montgomery County, good chinese food is hard to find. I believe this place has the best Chinese food in the DMV area so I drove a whole hour to get it! The price is right and the flavor is outstanding! The Chicken Wings with French fries and General Tso Chicken with Shrimp Friend Rice is my go to. I’m sitting in my car and eating outside of the restaurant right now. No lie! Lol“

“Spices is always delicious. It’s one of our go-tos in the neighborhood and has literally never been a disappointment. When you have a spot like this, it’s not easy to remember to give them a review. “My wife and I were looking for a halal chinese spot while visiting DC and this was highly recommended on DoorDash so gave it a shot. Safe it say DoorDash's reviews were right! One of the best chinese food I had in the USA so far. And it's halal. We had the friend rice with chicken, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. All of the 3 were phenomenal. All the halal Chinese food I had in the US was sub-par but this is an exception. Will definitely eat at this place again when in DC and highly recommend!

“I've ordered from this place sooo much. I always get the sashimi, I usually get the sashimi platter. This last time I got the sashimi appetizer + vegetable dumplings. I have learned that this is one of the sushi places that plays with the term, "white fish." Some places use it for white tuna, some use it for yellowtail etc. I got the sushimi appetizer as it was advertised as salmon, tuna, and white fish--my favorites, except not the white fish I wanted lol. This was more translucent, and half-pink. That was my gamble. Can't really tell what the white sashimi I get in the platter is, I think its white tuna, but I won't make the mistake again.Nice, solid slices of shaved ginger. Good if you're sick! I do wish the sashimi came with a condiment cup like the veggie dumplings did. Veggie dumplings were fine, nice and plump.Also love that the place is open late--I've been a night owl my whole life, so works for me!5 stars overall. I've only been in-person once, and it was very pleasant. You need to be let in, which doesn't take long. Lots of randos wandering around Chinatown so I get it.“

“Khin’s Sushi gets my vote for tasty sushi at reasonable prices. Khin’s is in an odd space. They share their small and minimal dining area with a pizza place. Khin’s also sells gelato. It’s a weird one-stop-shop for all things lunch. But I digress. We tried a variety of basic sushi like their California roll. It was all good. The rolls were not huge. But we enjoyed them. The service is a bit gruff. And the ambiance is pure 80’s fast food. But forget about all of that. Go in, grab some sushi while your spouse/partner/friend grabs a slice. And enjoy a good meal together. We will return.“

It’s standard American Chinese, nothing revolutionary, but I’d certainly order from here again.The kung pao chicken was well cooked, with crunchy chicken and tender vegetables instead of the homogenous mess you get sometimes. Had a nice kick to it too. The wonton soup broth was great and the fried pork dumplings tasted good, although the dough was a little chewy.“

The entrees are tasty, especially the Mongolian beef and the Hunan pork. The only area that I think could stand some improvement are the soups. Both the Egg Drop and Wonton soups seemed underwhelming. All in all, I think this is a solid establishment if you want comfort Chinese food.
