“Traveling from Massachusetts, this was our first time at Taqueria Al Lado II — and it absolutely blew us away. We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and for the quality of food, the prices are unbeatable. Easily a 5-star stop. We’ll be talking about this place back in MA.“

“Nice restaurant in Adams morgan, the food was prepared and brought quickly. The tacos were 4.75$, and they were simple but good. I believe the meat tacos were better than the vegan ones, especially the carnitas and chicken tacos.
The staff was amiable and responsive, it was a quite nice dinner.“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“First time there, we went after a doctor's appointment with my daughter and my husband. From the moment we walked in, I loved the vibe of the place, full of empowered women working! They invite us to sit where we want to sit!
Our server was Tatiana, and she took great care of us. We ordered a lot of food, and everything was delicious, truly homemade Mexican, The spicy jalapeno margaritas that Tatiana made for me were wow, they were delicious!the churros, esquites, nachos, tacos everything was delicious!!

“Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. The owner was so friendly and they really made an effort to prepare our meal for us. Overall great food and we’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I'm in town working Awesome Con this weekend so two of my coworkers and I got lunch after load-in and we were served by Jackie. She is an absolutely amazing waitress and sincerely beautiful soul. I got a Reuben and mashed potatoes, a pretty simple meal, but delicious. Jackie's service elevated what was supposed to be a simple lunch with coworkers into a highlight of my whole week. 10/10 spot give her and this restaurant all your money.“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

“Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“

“It’s a whole vibe at MaryLou’s! I ended up here because I great friend of the family picked this place for dinner to catch up. The staff was really nice. The food I had was really good. I ordered the lamb chops with a salad. Delicious in my book 👏🏿👏🏿 I was also able to try some of their greens which were good as well. The DJ kept things interesting with a Trivia Game for shots of Don Julio. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning“

“This was my second time here, and I am even more impressed this time! The service is very friendly and they cook everything to order so it's nice and fresh. The birria queso tacos are some of the best I have ever had (the consume is so good I literally sip on whatever is leftover!) And the lengua...omg the lengua! Tender, bursting with flavor, def some of the best I have ever had! The salsa Roja has good flavor and a nice kick to it (on the level of Diablo Sauce from Taco Bell). I overheard them say business is slow because of the weather, so do yourselves and them a favor and show them some love! They accept cash and cards, and there isn't any online ordering but you can call in your order.“

“I enjoyed dining at this pupuseria. It was the first time I had been back since it was called the Magic Skillet years ago. Luckily, the restaurant still has all of breakfast menu items from back in the day Plus some classic Latin dishes. My friend ordered the traditional southwest omelet. I ordered a chicken pupusa, a tamal and a taco Al pastor. The pupusa was a 5/5. It was amazing! The tamal and taco were good, 4/5. My friend loved his menu choice. Prices are very fair as well. “Can I say EXCELLENT! We searched for dinner options on Saturday night and found SPs Cuisine through Google. I called to ask questions and the customer service was impeccable. I had a large order (10) and was understandably nervous, but the person on the phone was patient and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Everything was correct, the food was hot, and the chef did an outstanding job. We will definitely be back. Shrimp and Salmon Rasta Pasta Wings Shrimp & Salmon Veggie sides My only complaint was the smoke, when my husband and brother returned the smell of smoke was overwhelming.“
