“First time dining in.Our server was helpful with recommendations and surprisingly fitness advice. We Had the salmon teriyaki Benton with multiple other dishes, Was not a fan of the potato salad and the Rose mary and mint tea paired well with the meal. Overall great experience“

This shop is in Rockville and there’s practically a bubble tea spot on every corner, but this one is worth your time and money. Kevin, the owner, is a super sweet older Chinese man who takes true pride in his teas. You can taste the love and effort. If you need good quality boba at least once a week like me, then this is the place to go! Thanks Kevin!“

“The place is small but tidy and clean, the food is delicious. This was my first time eating at this restaurant, and the experience was incredible. The attenders Genesis and Colly (I think that's the name she told me), were very friendly. They went out of their way to explain how the menus worked and recommended my sides , and everything was amazing. They made my visit very comfortable. “Went to Cava yesterday with my husband. We had a 6pm reservation and arrived around 5:45. Most of the tables were empty, except the bar, which seemed packed for their happy hour specials (which looked fantastic by the way). Our server was great. Every tapas we tried was delicious. The drinks we had, a Lemon Drop Martini and an Old Fashioned, were both fantastic as well. It had been over 10 years since our last dinner here and we were very impressed. We will definitely be back soon!“

My son knows how much I love it, that for Christmas I received 2 boxes of my favorite things from the store. I've got to lock my freezer now as other family members threaten to steal the kielbasa and pierogi.“

“Stayed at a local hotel and ordered from Door Dash. SECRET SPICY CHICKEN was great. Pretty much like General Tso's Chinese but a tad spicier. Large pieces of good quality chicken, even the medium order was too much for me. Pair it with steamed white rice, put the rice in the sauce. Very good.“

We recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt to find a go-to sushi spot. I think we found it! Portions were great, price was fair, and it felt great supporting a local business over all the chains around Rockville and Bethesda. A couple chefs and one super friendly woman serving the food.

This isn’t the place you go to for a full on dining experience with fancy/expensive cocktails. Because the majority of their business is takeout, everything was served out of to-go containers. As long as you don’t have issues with this, as we didn’t, you’ll enjoy it.

We love their beer, and we love the warehouse-style vibe of the brewery. It’s cozy, dog-friendly, and a great place to hang out. Their trivia night is also one of the best in the Rockville area.

I use the app to order ahead of time and almost always get some kind of discount with the loyalty program. Also, my order is usually ready when I get to the store so I don’t need to wait in line. Overall, this is a great location and great value on healthy smoothies!“

- Pan Jeon (Seafood Pancake) - Good fry without being greasy and generous portion of seafood, but octopus a little chewy - 7/10

“I had an incredible experience dining at Gong Fu 12 yesterday, and I have to say it has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the DMV area. They create a wonderful blend of flavors from both Northern and Southern Chinese cuisines, resulting in a diverse menu full of exciting dishes. The quality of the food is exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for such delicious meals. It's a place where you can truly indulge in a culinary adventure! The barista, Elisabeth I believe, kept a conversation with me while making my drink, asking for my foam preferences and temperature, because I told her I had a long day ahead of me. She wanted to ensure my drink stayed warm throughout my day. She smiled and wished me a wonderful day. I hope her manager thanks her on my behalf. She is one of the few baristas that keep up the customer care aspect of Starbucks that has been unfortunately dwindling.“

“Robeks is easily the best smoothie shop in this area and there are a lot of smoothie shops in this area! I have enjoyed every Robeks smoothie I have ever had. The carefully created smoothies on their menu are delicious and are completely customizable if you want to omit, change, or add an ingredient. That is great for people on various restrictive diets. I also love the Build Your Own option! When I am not in the mood for one of the smoothies on the menu because I am not in the mood for sherbet, yogurt, or protein powder, I use the BYO to order smoothies with tons of fruit and a little juice. Sometimes, I even order a second very fruity BYO, so I can put one in my freezer and eat it like Italian ice the next day. Try it, you'll love it!“

“The best soup dumplings / xiaolongbao in the DMV!! We have tried soup dumplings from Bobs Shanghai, Yus Noodles, A&J, and even the new Nan Xiang at Montgomery Mall, but we still keep coming back to Shanghai Taste.

Both their steamed soup dumplings and pan fried soup dumplings are absolutely delicious.

It is a small family owned restaurant. The service is quick, if not the most warm. The food is hot and delicious! Prices are great relative to their portions.“

“Pleasantly surprised of the quality of food here. Can't comment on the fusion Chinese food, but the two dishes I order - Chongqing Chicken and Basil Eggplant - were authentic, well-seasoned, and not oily. They used enough dried chili pepper such that the spice penetrates into the fried chicken. They got all components of the dish right also including peanuts, the numbness from peppercorn, and even the aromatics garlic and ginger slices. The eggplant dish was superb as well. The sauce has a consistency sufficient to coat the eggplant, and the larger eggplant pieces in the dish still had structure to them, not completely mushy. Will be back for sure. I wish there were two menus though, one for authentic Chinese food and one for American Chinese.“

“My friends and I had a phenomenal time coming here, our server Tigi was amazing and truly made us feel welcomed. My parents never really let me eat out before growing up and IHOP was a restaurant that I had always wanted to try! I went a couple days ago with a group of friends and our server Tigi truly accommodated to my needs as I am gluten sensitive and helped me navigate through the options available to me.“

“Love this place. The entire experience from the shop in the front to the restaurant in the back is amazing. Their bathrooms are themed (Mario brothers and Studio Gibli). Their bathrooms food is great and their pancakes and deserts are just good and comforting. Staff is friendly and helpful and the place is nice and clean. Definitely worth a look.“
