The standout dish at Hello Vietnam is undoubtedly their "phở thố đá sườn bò". This is hands down one of the most special pho dishes I have ever had the pleasure of savoring. The beef ribs are cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The broth is rich and aromatic, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. It is a true symphony of flavors that is both comforting and oh-so-delicious. There are many other options that are as delicious such as “bánh cuốn”, “bánh đúc, “bún bò Huế”, etc. The best part? “I think what stood out even more than the food was the attentive and caring service. I visited with my two kids, and it was clear that the staff genuinely took the time to recommend dishes and check what we wanted.

“I've been to Pho Hoa Binh twice now - my first visit was about a month ago, and I just returned today. I'm absolutely impressed by the staff's friendliness and amazing memory - they actually remembered me from my first visit! That kind of personal touch really makes you feel welcome.

The pho here is consistently delicious. Every bowl we tried was flavorful and satisfying. But what really stole the show for me was the Vietnamese iced coffee - it's absolutely incredible! They top it with a thick layer of milk foam that makes it tastes more delicious 🤤

“Delicious pho in the area. This is my spot for comfort food. When im sick, when i didnt feel like cooking... when i had a stressful day, this place is it .
Most pho restaurants have their broth high in sodium. Not here. I get the brisket with loads of garnishes like limes and basil. Their Boba is good too. Eating in recommended as im too impatient to eat at home. One of these days ill try their bahn mi.“

“I think this place has the potential to become a long-lasting establishment. The bread is baked in house and perfectly crispy. There is an incredibly diverse menu to appeal to everyone; vegan options, pescatarian, etc. The staff is incredibly kind and patient and informative. Generous portions and imo reasonable prices(10.95 for shrimp Bahn mi)

The issue for me is balance. The sandwich is great but a bit heavy on the pickles radish. Not really any carrot. Minimum cucumber, and a reasonable amount of cilantro and jalapeño but it’s drowned in the pickled onions.

I’ll definitely comeback. There’s an eggplant Bahn mi that sounds enticing. And i hope they grow and get that tiny bit better“

“This is genuinely the best spot for Pho in Rockville. The broth is very delicious and I like that all of their options cost the same, the only price difference is the size, but even then it’s like a dollar difference. It’s cash only though so be aware! Also their Thai tea was very good and not too sweet. Great spot just make sure to bring cash“

Very welcoming and greeted as soon we came into the place.

We had V3 - grilled pork vermicelli and it was perfectly cooked and so much flavor.
We also had chicken and steak pho soup and they were so great.
Very highly recommend place for a great testing of Pho in MoCo area.“

The new soft-shell crab with tamarind sauce is so yummy and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back for their delectable chimichurri steak. I will definitely come again to try out the banh mi and other lunch options as well as other authentic Vietnamese items. I love that with a menu brimming with authentic Vietnamese dishes, they also offer a tempting array of vegan and exotic options. It's a great addition to the modernized Takoma Park.“

“This is my favorite restaurant to visit when I'm in the DC area! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is next level. You can tell by how authentic the food is that it's a run by people with great care and appreciation for Vietnamese food. There's something special about a family run restaurant, and this one is as good as it gets. I would recommend the Pho (duh!) and also the chicken wings which are sticky, sweet, and crispy!“

“It’s been years since I’ve had Pho as good as I did today here. The pho was so flavorful, the ingredients tasted so fresh, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. And of course the meat was delicious. I got the P2 and my boyfriend got the P4. But the best part was probably the beef wrapped in grape leaves (the dipping sauce was so good I drank it when the beef was gone). Also we had the Thai tea and it wasn’t too sweet, which is hard to say for most Thai teas. Can’t recommend it enough.“

Using the touch screens to order dinner was a new thing for my husband and me. It was very intuitive but a nice staff member came over to make sure we were able to complete all parts of the transaction.

You pick your food from the very easy-to-see menu touch screens at the front and pay for your meal. Then pick out what table you want. Our food was very well prepared and the servers were nice and attentive.
