“I had been waiting 3 years ever since the sign went up saying this was coming to my area. Finally for my birthday I got the chance to go and it was not a let down. The front of house staff was very friendly and seated my party immediately. The waitress took no time at all to get our drinks and come back with them and take our complete order. We put everything in at the same time and they did an excellent job of pacing the salads, appetizers, and main meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and gorgeous to look at. I will be returning so we can sit for a hibachi show! The only thing is I slyly mentioned it was my birthday hoping to get a song, but that did not happen lol.“

“Sushi is always fresh and tasty. Don’t skip the non-fish items, which are also delicious. I haven’t gone into DC for sushi since I discovered Ikko a few years ago.“

“The hibachi shrimp bento box was really good. Everything was nicely seasoned. The dumplings and spring rolls were fried but not greasy. The California roll was good too. The quality of their sticky rice for the hibachi was great and they give you a lot. Service was quick and it’s made fresh to order. They ask you if you want teriyaki sauce on top of the hibachi before serving it. All plates come with a side of yum yum sauce. Quiet atmosphere, not the best plaza or neighborhood but it’s always busy and looks like they sell a lot. Will be back.“

“Just had an awesome meal at Kusshi Sushi last week with my friend. She is a sushi lover and mentioned the sashimi was fresh and perfect. The sweet shrimp was sweet, dedicate, and tasty. She loved the crispy shrimp head too. The vibe was chill and the staff were super nice. She said the price was only half of what she would pay in New York. If you love sushi, do yourself a favor and hit up Kusshi.“

“I rarely ever a review but I had for Fuji Japan! Betty the owner was super sweet and the food was amazing! I go to a lot of Japanese or Hibachi places and this is by far my favorite. This would be 5 star review - lowest 4.8. Also very reasonable pricing and great portion size. Betty explained that the ingredients are home made and you can definitely tell the authentic taste!“

“This has been our go to Chinese food restaurant since we moved to the neighborhood, and we have loved it... the Salt and Pepper Calamari is amazing. Last two visits we were disappointed, so fingers crossed we can have a better experience next time!“

“Best Asian/ Sushi spot in Eastern Silver Spring! Very clean and food cooked hot to order. I enjoyed the titanic roll and the Chicken Brocoli. Good prices and good portions. They have parking in rear. Nice staff. And there’s a bar with a couple TV of you want watch a game and enjoy lunch or dinner.“

“Good sushi, but you can tell they stopped caring about the interior a long time ago. Over half of the fountain drink options were out of service, including water. This was a Friday afternoon too. Worth a try for takeout but I don't recommend sit down.“

“The food was so amazing which is why it pains me to bring it down two stars. The service was nonexistent. The servers, all very young very very inattentive. Our server, a young woman never once checked on us or asked us if we wanted water. The person who served us our drinks eventually was different from her who took our order and delivered it, and the person who closed our check was different as well. A total of three different people. Of course, still tipped above the minimum as they’re young but the staff could use some training in earning that. In addition, it’s a bit expensive but very delicious and hope the tips go to those cooks!“

“This place was so good! Visiting from out of town so this was my first time. Beef & Chicken Combo with fried rice AMAZING. Green Dragon Roll was so flavorful and would 110% get it again with its little crunch, Rock n Roll sushi roll was delicious as well with the right amount of spice. The workers were so nice and welcoming.“
