“Had found the place by accident roaming around the night before and ordered a chicken sandwich that was AWESOME! So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. Such a great experience for an out of stater to have.“

“We, had lunch at this location on Nov 10th. The service was very poor and the order came out wrong. The waiter never offered to refill our drinks. We, ended up sending food back and had taken off the bill. I, asked for a manager and the waiter only came back. This was a VERY poor experience. The waiter sucked, They may need new management.“

“I was at a birthday catered by Benny’s. The meatballs were outstanding, tender, moist, excellent flavor and the sauce was excellent also! Deep flavors, not strong, with a good texture, without that strong acid, garlicky tomato flavor! Baked pasta was great also! It was good for my tummy also, no reflux, YUMMY 🤗. I have done so many things there: spent time with friends, took visitors (friends and family) to taste the beer, attended a community event, participated in the local running group's weekly meetup, watched the Ravens and the O's fail, etc. And the people running it and working there are fantastic!“

Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. “Pats is our go-to never lets us down dinner option. We've been eating there for 6 years now since we moved to the area and I've not ever ordered something I didn't like. Not to mention that they give huge portions which I think is commendable seeing as so many of the restaurants right now are making you pay more for less due to shrinkflation.

Like I said we love everything but their pasta is amazing my husbands favorite is the chicken parmesan and mine is a tie between the spaghetti and meatballs or the chicken burrito bowl. Oh and if you like delicious things go ahead and tack on one of those desserts lol.“

(The crowd was all for pickup but they do have good dine-in space too.)
Yet, the quality of the food, the taste and spice was so good.
Had the egg white noodles 🍜 with mushrooms, spiced Breadcrumbs, spicy garlic sauce and parsley. Was so flavorful. Good quantity.

“We stopped by Miss Shirley’s Cafe during a trip to Baltimore after seeing glowing reviews on Google Map. It lived up to the hype.

Got here around 10am on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad considering the popularity.

The decor is fun, eclectic, and welcoming. The menu is huge with plenty of both sweet and savory options to choose from. We ordered the fried green tomato breakfast sandwich and the banana chocolate chips pancakes, and both were excellent. I’d order either again. One note: the hot chocolate is very sweet. I ordered it with the pancakes and found the combo too much. If you prefer less sweetness like I do, skip it.

Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant seemed very well run despite the crowds. Though it’s popular with tourists, the food and overall experience make it well worth a visit.“
