“OMG!! The crabs we some of the best crabs I had in a while. I got a dozen of XL Males, a half dozen large females and a pound of steamed shrimp. First let me say me I received what I paid for which is a plus!! I did not pay for XL and received medium or Large and received small. They were seasoned well and cooked perfectly.

I also appreciated the pleasant customer service I received, very kind and personable.“

“This is a GEM!!! Intimate, lovely set up (2floors) Staff is extremely welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and just Top Tier Service. We had 2 Lobster rolls with mayo (hold the lemon) and a shrimp pots boy oh and the Lobster bisque added lobster (i would've liked for the added lobster to be more whole pieces they gave us Lil pieces) overall this was a 10/10. Keep up the good work and thank you to the amazing staff that made it all possible. We will be back.“

“Very good and fresh seafoods“

“Had a great Saturday night before a holiday party. Service at the bar was excellent. Four starts because the menu could use a few more vegetable options. Smoked fish dip was too creamy and that drowned the taste of the dish in the dip. Oysters were insanely good.

That said, cocktails and the bartender were excellent. Beautiful decor too.“

Everything about this restaurant is so nice: from the views to the atmosphere of the restaurant itself and the service, all is a nice experience. It is a very big place as they have seating in different places. I particularly enjoyed the covered seating on the outside near the water. The menu was varied and offered a variety of seafood options. I enjoyed the crispy crunchy hush puppies and the clam chowder. Very tasty! The service was excellent as well. Would I return to this restaurant? Yes!“

“My daughter and son-in-law treated me for my birthday and what a treat it was! From the birthday champagne treat to the special popcorn to the dessert and all meals in between—nothing disappointed. The food was delicious. Filet mignon prepared to perfection. Lamb chops, braised beef, shrimp—all delicious. The sides; I could go on. My husband also enjoyed his meal. Our particular teenaged granddaughter loved her chicken tenders. Even our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal. Definitely will return. This was our first time but it won’t be our last. And last but not least—our server, Micaiah, was the best. Her recommendations were on point. Top notch and so professional!“

“I took my teenage boys here on our last night in DC during spring break. The staff is absolutely wonderful, so friendly, kind, fun, energetic, and genuine. “My friends and I went to Motorkat today after attending a play in Olney. Mikey was our server and was a stellar server. He was friendly yet professional. We came in with an appetite. We started with the smoked salmon and artichoke dip. The portion size was nice, and the chunky texture and flavor fit well with the Saltines. Next was the pistou salad, roasted sunchokes and the pork belly with creamy grits. The pistou salad was artfully plated and was soo good. The roasted sunchokes came with a miso ranch dressing and sesame seeds. It was so good and the mixed textures worked well. The pork belly sat on a bed of the creamiest grits I've ever had. The pork belly was tender, and the smoky tomatoes were a great paring and provided just enough acidity to cut through the richness of the dish. Still hungry, we ordered the flank cut short ribs and broccolini. The grilled broccoli were lighly tossed with chili garlic sauce, peanuts and basil. Divine. The flank cut ribs were Cumin scented and accented with a tart cucumber salad. They were fork tender and very flavorful. Our only disappointment was the scallion Pancake with pickled vegetables. We felt that overall then presentation was nice, but the Pancake was a bit thick and was a bit charred on the bottom. The pickled vegetables overpowered the pancake.. Out meal ended with mango sorbet. Overall, we loved the service Mikey provided, and all the staff was gracious. I highly recommend this spot for dinner. Thank you!“

“My husband really wanted some fish so we tried this place. The fish is fresh they clean and cook it. Order ahead because the lines are long and so is the wait. He said the fish was ok but needed more seasoning. The fries were great!

Parking: It was crowded and parking was slim I found a parking space right in front but people were pulling up in the street and parking next to parked cars and picking up their food. It could cause a problem especially doing rush hour.“

“Got fried croaker dinner with red potatoes and brussel sprouts. Enough food for 2 days. Red potatoes cooked to perfection. Sprouts seasoned perfectly without being salty. I fortunately, the fish was disappointing, greasy, small (2 pieces). Didn't enjoy either, picked through it and trashed it. I won't attempt anything else like that again.

“Love Ruth Chris and was happy that this location was around the corner from our hotel. Sat at the bar since it wasn't too busy. Bartender/server took her time getting to us and wasn't really too helpful with the menu. The pomegranate martini was amazing. The stuffed chicken breast had me almost eating my fingers. It was that good. The cheese was so tasty and flavorful along with the perfectly seasoned chicken. It was mouthwatering. The server surprised us with a birthday cheese for my bestie, which was very thoughtful. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. Will return but will do table service instead.“
