“I've generally had decent experiences. It's a hit or miss depending on the time of day. The staff I've met so far have been quite nice.I'm just posting so everyone is aware that the $3 medium cold brew promotion doesn't work as an in-store purchase here. At least, when I tried to redeem the offer, they said it doesn't work (no effort to manual override or read the terms on the app that contradicted their excuses). Mobile ordering with this promotion at this location works, though, so if you want the $3 cold brew here (until 4/26) order it on the app.“

But my cashier spotted the incident and without haste brought me extra donut holes to right any of gravitys wrongs In causing the mishap. needless to say I've never been more moved by such a simple gesture. “It's been awhile since I used to run U Street and I came looking for the old Starbucks but it was nowhere to be found. I did find Cafe U and I just love this little spot. It's so cute, the Lox is my favorite thing, and the service is great. RIP Starbucks but I'm loving Cafe U.“

“My number one donut shop in history! !I bought this for breakfast around 9:30 in the morning.For the flavors, I purchased creme brûlée and maple bacon.Both flavors were delicious.The creme brûlée had a fluffy texture and the cream inside had a gentle sweetness.Maple bacon has a crispy bacon part with a nutty feel.But there's a nice hint of bacon in the aftertaste, which pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the maple.The two of us bought two and shared them.I think American donuts tend to be less sweet, but for Japanese people, I think it's sweet enough for each person to eat one.If it's near my home, it's a store I'd like to shop at frequently.It is recommended shop.“

“Here for business, the only thing I wish they opened earlier (for selfish reasons that way I can have it on my way to work every day)? lol food was great cheese grits never had grits where I didn't have to do anything to it. They allowed me to change it up so I got the honey blueberry biscuit with bacon egg and cheese. Amazing ?“

“I was pleasantly surprised with the ube (purple yam) mochi donut! I'm from Los Angeles visiting for business and the mochi donut craze has simmered down over there.The ube mochi donut here was perfectly sweet for this kind of donut, and it had a really nice mochi chew to it. For those unfamiliar with mochi, it's a rice flour, which makes the texture more chewy rather than a traditional donut. It's not a fluffy donut, so if it sits out for too long, the fried oil gets absorbed into the dough more. The one from Donutchew was still fresh enough to not have the oily texture to it.I also got a jasmine milk tea (half sugar) and really enjoyed it. Jasmine tea had a strong floral aroma/taste to it and this milk tea didn't dilute it out. If you like the taste of teas, I'd really recommend this one.“

“Really love this fast casual at the Bryant Street Food Hall. The food is delicious, filling and well-priced. I love that you can customize your poke bowls. It is also beautifully presented. I had a long day at work and was delighted to find an orchid blossom in my Hawaiian General Tao's chicken this evening. I definitely recommend rounding out your meal with the Ube or black sesame Mochi donuts- yum!!!“

“These are awesome donuts! My favorites are the maple bacon, just incredible. The folks in the store are great. This donut shop is unique in that they make the donuts to order. However, these donuts are pricey! This shouldn't be a one-dollar sign "$" listing, it should be at least two. These are great for special occasions but too expensive for an ordinary morning donut and coffee.“

“I love Duck Donuts. I gave up sweets for the Lenten Season and could not think of any place else to have a sweet and savory snack on a Thursday afternoon. “I have been going to this Dunkin for years when I am in the area, and I believe it is the best one! Orders are always prepared quickly, correctly, and even better, their warm foods (wraps etc) don’t have that weird taste you often get with Dunkin foods (I assume it’s related to the cleaning products used in the appliances). The staff are friendly, and many current staff have been there even before COVID. Highly recommend!“

“This is my favorite DD in the area. They always get my order right and if there are ever any problems, they are happy to fix whatever it is. I come here at least a couple times a week and always have a positive experience.Parking: Parking lot that's shared with other businesses, but because DD is on the corner you'll always find parking“

“I am not sure if the kiosk is not reliable or it's user error. I have tried twice to use it but the second time I focused on accurately adding the amount of sugar I wanted but it didn't go through because the barista served my coffee with no sugar and looking at the receipt it didn't have any sugar amount. She begrudgingly added the sugar for me.The coffee is always tasty.“
