“The restaurant is a little smaller with a more intimate feel. We sat at a small high top table next to the bar and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Throughout the night, at least 6 different servers took care of us (sitting next to the bar, we were taken care of by the bartenders.) The food and drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. My boyfriend had the peach cocktail and then an old fashion with honey cinnamon syrup and I had the mule which all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. We both had the Steak frites which was cooked to perfection and the fries I just couldn’t get enough of. For dessert, we took home the banana pie dessert and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake special and let me just say, oh my goodness. Neither of us knew which one we liked better. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing valentines dinner :)“

The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. “I have gone to the Whitney every year for Christmas dinner. It was annual holidays to celebrate with my nieces. Last Christmas holiday we chose to take the buffet. I was extremely disappointed. All I wanted was prime rib. The server was not very friendly. She stared at me and I was very uncomfortable when I asked for the prime rib only. There was just a small end piece and she gave me a very thin slice close resembling lunch meat. I don’t understand since I paid for a complete meal and it wasn’t cheap. I could’ve gone somewhere else and had a wonderful prime rib dinner. The au jous was not warm, so that was very disappointing. I will never do the buffet again if it’s like last year. In previous years, I’ve attended the buffet and it was outstanding.“

The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“Old school diner with great service and plenty of menu options. Seating was a little tight. We were in a booth and heard the entire conversation on both sides. Food itself was good - everybody got what they wanted - a Coney, a Greek salad with chicken, etc. Seemed like a nice neighborhood place and worth the short walk from Eastern Market.“

No fooling around no loud talking, laughing out loud, just taking care of business.It’s quiet, professional service, everybody working, and most of the time they got my eggs just like I like them. can’t say anything negative about omega, and I always run into Brenda sitting right on the end at the counter. They know who Brenda is, but you guys might not. I’ll give omega 10 stars.“

“I used to go here all the time as a kid with my dad, so I decided to take my kids to share this experience with my own daughters. It was so nostalgic. It didn't disappoint. “Absolutely 100% recommend Nemo’s! We’re here for tigers opening day and I am breastpumping. I asked if they had a room I could pump, although they didn’t have a secluded area for me, they let me pump in this back area. Thankfully I had a wearable pump so you can’t see anything but one of the bartenders brought me a water & a hotdog and was just the sweetest man. Truly thankful for their hospitality! So very sweet! “We were in the neighborhood for an event at Epiphany and were looking for a place to eat and have a drink before the show. We decided to try Zell's Corner based on the location and reviews, and I am so glad we did. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the corner bar atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. When we are in the vicinity again we will definitely be back for the food, cold beer and to say hello to our new friends.“

“Louie’s was incredible! Celebrated a birthday over the weekend and had the best time! We made reservations and were sat within 2 minutes of arriving! Our server Oliver was very attentive and friendly. The timing of our food was perfectly spaced out. We started with the calamari (delicious), and both had a cup of the chicken and rice soup (so good with a bit of a kick). For main meal we had pork chops (zip sauce paired perfectly) and salmon! Generous portion sizes as the pork chops came with 2 pieces. Their signature manhattan was also good. One of the managers came over as we dined to check in and was very kind. If you’d like a more private / quiet area ask for upstairs! Downstairs was also great at the bar. Super cool looking inside. We will definitely be back, we have our eye on the key lime pie for dessert 😋“
