“The restaurant is a little smaller with a more intimate feel. We sat at a small high top table next to the bar and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Throughout the night, at least 6 different servers took care of us (sitting next to the bar, we were taken care of by the bartenders.) The food and drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. My boyfriend had the peach cocktail and then an old fashion with honey cinnamon syrup and I had the mule which all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. We both had the Steak frites which was cooked to perfection and the fries I just couldn’t get enough of. For dessert, we took home the banana pie dessert and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake special and let me just say, oh my goodness. Neither of us knew which one we liked better. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing valentines dinner :)“

“Just had my first visit to The Townhouse, and it was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the service blew me away. Everyone was super attentive, professional, and welcoming, but Raegan really stood out. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, gave thoughtful recommendations, and her friendly energy made me feel right at home. Honestly, she turned a first-time visit into an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. The vibe of the restaurant combined with that kind of service makes it feel special without being stuffy. Stephen came to meet us and was essential in making sure we had “Polish, double smoked kielbasa “ for the event. It should be on the menu full time! Everything was delicious and fresh.
The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

“My husband and I had a day night here the other day and everything was perfect! We were celebrating a couple of personal advancements and our server made us feel very special. He was attentive, knowledgeable, kind and gave us the privacy we wanted. The food was great, good meat quality, and the menu was quite creative too. The ambiance is very inviting and intimate. “Grand Trunk Pub is a classic spot in downtown Detroit with a lot of character. The building itself is historic, and the high ceilings and old architecture give the place a really cool, vintage vibe. It feels like a mix of a traditional pub and a local Detroit hangout.

The food is solid pub-style comfort food. I tried the Reuben sandwich and it was flavorful and satisfying, especially with one of their Michigan craft beers. They have a great selection of local brews, which makes the experience even better.

Service was friendly and relaxed, and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Overall, Grand Trunk Pub is a great place to grab a drink and a hearty meal if you’re exploring downtown Detroit.“

“Came here for a night out with my fiancé and ended up having a blast. They have all the old school games, which fills up my happy little old-school heart. The bar was amazing, and the drinks were fantastic. I will definitely be back as I still have a crap ton of coins. The only con I have is that there's no tickets or prizes for winning the games.“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

“After reading several reviews, it left me hesitant about going to Iridescene, however I'm glad that I did not let that deter me. Everything we ordered, from the wine and dine menu was delicious. The chicken breast was tender enough to cut with a fork. And the mashed potatoes were very tasty and well seasoned. I would recommend this place.“

“The price of the bill vs the food taste didn’t add up. The food wasn’t seasoned, the Mac and cheese was meh, and the yams and greens tasted like something you’d find pre maid. The fried chicken had zero seasonings on it. The only thing good was the fried fish. Service was great and the atmosphere was good as well. But I wouldn’t go here again.“

“I’ve been coming to Family Treats since I was a little girl—back when it was still called Tasty Freeze. The ice cream was always a favorite, and I loved their Coney dogs. Now, years later, I get to share those same memories with my own children. Today, they enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and chili cheese fries, generously treated by my mom. I’m so grateful we can still come here as a family, relive old times, and create new memories together. Places like this are rare gems—filled with tradition, comfort food, and heart.“

“Just an amazing experience! I'd never been here even though I've lived in Detroit my whole life and I've worked downtown. Mean a couple friends headed over after Sid's and they were all done up for Christmas and the bartender was amazing and drinks were pretty good!“

“I've frequented the Library numerous times but recently visited the restaurant twice this month with friends -- and it just gets better and better. Our server Jonathan S. was not only friendly and welcoming but extremely knowledgeable about the menu, history of the building, and on-site offerings such as the upstairs cigar and billiards lounge. Had the most luxurious ribeye and octopus of my life. Detroit Club is quickly becoming my favorite place in the city.“
