“We did 13.95 for so called homemade "hash" it was a joke. it was the size of a drinking cup around and flat in size. That and toast. drinks were 3.99 no refill. Plus they were serving coke out of 2 L. warm. When served warm and adding ice, it diluted it. We get better food for same price at Mr. Burger with refills on drinks. Glad their closing. Not even acceptional food. I fell bad for the waitress. She was awsome.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids. The food is exceptional and the staff is a family that remembers you. I've been eating this family's food to around 20 years even before they moved to this location. The pho is comfort food. I get the #9 beef soup. Also, the beef stew pho, shrimp toast, fresh rolls, and crispy egg rolls are so good. Try the vietnamese iced coffee and fresh Lemonade they squeeze by hand. Great value food.“

“Formerly Reserve Wine & Food, Allora is owned by The Windquest Group (Dick & Betsy DeVos) which basically owns downtown Grand Rapids and opened earlier this year. My expectations were very high. \n\nUpon entering the restaurant, you first have to enter a lobby area which leads into the restaurant. We arrived early and wanted to have drinks at the bar but it was full. We were told to come back for our allotted reservation (the bar only seats 8). \n\nThe space is intimate with mostly table seating. Menu is decent. We started with the fried seafood, Aranci balls and yellowtail. Portions are small, food is unremarkable. Caesar salad had fresh anchovies, nice touch. Bread service is $10, so irritating. \n\nSquid ink pasta was excellent. Filets were good although not Prime and Ora King was decent, although 6 oz. portion not filling. \n\nThey offer corkage fee for $50 bottle, two bottle max which we took advantage of although our waiter wasn't happy about it. \n\nOverall, Allora is nothing to write home about and nothing stands out on the menu. For a "coastal" Italian restaurant and owned by the DeVos family, our expectations were not met and will not return.“

They give u so much food when you order whatever my favorites are the orange chicken combination, or beef or pork lomein, sweet and sour chicken combination, beef and broccoli comb, Mongolian beef combo, these are some of our favorites but try whatever and I promise you will not be disappointed. Yes the prices have increased because of the inflation of everything going up of course but they didn't go up that much like 2-3 bucks more. But for all the food you get it's definitely worth it. Hell I even have food left over for the next day. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed. The family that owns the place are really super sweet, very good folks.“
