“Definitely an old school bakery feel. I have no complaints with how I’ve personally been treated - I’ve only had very polite and nice experiences. Coffee has always been hot for me and I was even offered more bagels because it was slow today! I usually get bagels and cream cheese once a week in the mornings and have never had an issue, they are very delicious… but duh, it’s a bagel! It’s a go-to bagel place for me and a must try if you’re in the neighborhood. So glad I started coming here.“

“Had been following for a while, and was finally in the neighborhood. I'm always on the hunt for a good, buttery cookie. My day has arrived. I've traveled the burbs, downtown, and everywhere in between looking for a cookie made with butter, and you can taste it. Ordered 4 choco chip, 2 PB, Shortbread. Omggggg!!!! This shortbread was alast minute add on, so glad I did. It's buttery, tender, not overly sweet. I think I'm in love. Thank you Good Cookies for answering my prayers. This isn't exactly close for me, but definitely worth it.They have a nice lounge, seating area for enjoying your cookies and a hot beverage. Music playing, jazz artist photos just an all around cool vibe. Will definitely be back. Don't forget to sign up for rewards.“

“Small cafe style restaurant. Orders are placed at the counter then delivered to table. Food took a while to come out even though it wasn’t that busy, but A+ for presentation and flavor. Water glasses were short so we had to ask for more a few times.“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! Honestly seeing this place for the first time is a breath of fresh air. It’s like dining outside without the blaring sun, the bugs, and the wind blowing away your food. And honestly the prices were not outrageous especially for the atmosphere you are paying for. The service is wonderful and the food was great. Overall experience: 11/10

“I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. It’s a varied collection of kind, hard working people that make you feel welcomed and are always working hard to get your order out to you. Leave the stress behind and relax here with friends and future friends. You will be glad you came“

“The fact that a COVID-19 card was needed upon entry, along with the fact that it wasn't advertised on the door, were the lowlights. I don't anticipate returning until the policy is changed. My recommendation is to obtain an updated COVID-19 card, and have it on your phone or in your pocket/purse/wallet before you visit. it will save the trouble of being turned away.“

“Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. “I came to Michigan from NC to have a mini vacation with friends. We made plans to come here and had been looking forward to it for months. IT WAS SO AMAZING. We had one of the original Cloud Cakes (dressed up with Nutella and berries) a key lime cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. The staff were very sweet and patient, answering all of our questions. 5 stars all the way!“

“The selection here is crazy!! The best protein shake shop in the Troy area. Ask for the specialty shakes like the chocolate covered strawberry or the mint chocolate chip ice cream (Both are delicious). I used to go to tropical smoothie but now this is the only place I go to for a healthy and sweet treat

Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan friendly, if you just tell the person making the shakes to make it vegan then they’ve got you!!

Kid-friendliness: Kids come in all of the time when I’m here!! Staff is super friendly to them and the kids seem to love the shakes“
