“Delicious food, generous portions, reasonably priced. They recently remodeled the store, the flow works much better now. They have a walk-in beer cooler, as well as liquor behind the counter. It offers everything a corner gas station/convenience store can offer, with some of the most delicious Mediterranean I have had. We have enjoyed Mr. Kabob's for many, many years, has always been 5 stars! My go to is the deboned chicken breast and rice. The chicken is so well seasoned and tender, it melts in your mouth! My husband's favorite is the lamb gyro (not sure if Berkley location carries lamb though?). All the salads are fresh, the hummus divine, and falafels are so yummy! I'll try to update with pics, but it's hard not to dig right in!“

“If I could give them 6 stars I would. ordered a 10 people tray and a 5 people tray for my sons communion and everything was on point I had about 30 people and everyone left stuffed. I've always been curious driving by but I was especially curious after I saw all the glowing reviews.I got a beef shawarma bowl with all my favorite fixings and was left thoroughly satisfied and happy. They were super friendly and, since we were sitting right by the window, they checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy.I'll be coming back here as often as I can.Wheelchair accessibility: Same level from the street/parking lot all the way to the order window. “The food at this place is fresh and delicious, especially if you are looking for a fresh salad. I wanted to order the falafel but it was not available at the time. However, the two employees were so kind that they gave me a delicious Greek salad on the house. The salad was amazing and I would give it a 10/10 rating. The customer service was also excellent, thanks to Stephanie and the team! I will be coming back to this place just because of the great customer service.“

“Just tried your new Ft Wayne location yesterday. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for years, your food is as close to legit as I have found since moving back to the USA!! The chicken Schwarma and tabouli were soooo good!! The falafel was the best I have ever had!!! The pita bread was excellent that the Schwarma was made with!!! We will def make the 1.5 hour drive to go back and do it frequently!!!“

“Shawarma Castle is probably the best bang for your buck shawarma joint in the area. My recommendation is you get the Family Plates. It's the perfect mix of shawarma, shish tawook, kabob, and kafta with rice, fattoush, grape leaves, and hummus. Order the Plate for 2 if you want to feed 4-6 people or 2 people for at least half of the week. The dudes in there are incredibly nice and if you're just popping in for a shawarma sandwich or something small and quick they have a nice little dining area.Shawarma Castle is a weekly staple at our house, let them impress you too.“

“I ordered the doner kebab and house seasoned fries. I got a ton of ketchup packets with the fries but didn't need any of them because the fries were that good. The doner itself is just like I remember eating in Germany. The bread is soft, the meat was well seasoned and the sauce was delicious. I'll have to order it with extra veggies next time because I like cucumbers and tomatoes on that kind of sandwich.“

“I would say that the positive reviews are justified at Remas. I had the Seltah w/Vegetables with the Yemeni bread and the sauces. While the sauces were not much to write home about, I will have to say that the Seltah had a lot of really good flavor, was healthy, and delicious. The Yemeni bread was an excellent sidekick. The checkout was a bit confusing at first, but I now remember to go up to the desk and eventually checkout there.“

Good to see a fusion restaurant in warren.I see some people complaining that the chicken was dry but to tell you the truth that's an issue with a lot of Mediterranean restaurants I have been to, even the really fancy ones. Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done.They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.“

“This is similar to a chipotle concept of ordering a pre-determined bowl or creating your own bowl. I really appreciated that when you first come in, there is a wall with the pictures of the different items you can pick for your bowl because I wasn't familiar with some of the items. I did a custom bowl half/half with the zartar steak and lamb. I asked for the kale salad and the blaze hummus. This bowl was magnificent. The flavors were great and it was good quantity of food. Everything tasted fresh and light. The hummus was perfect and the blaze sauce gave it the spice I needed. If I knew the blaze sauce would be that delicious, I'd of asked for more of it in my food. The bowls came with fresh warm bread (I saw them make it while I was waiting). I was obsessed with this bread. It was fluffy and warm and fantastic. It was a really nice size to come with the bowl. There were tables to sot down at if you wanted to dine in. I would 10/10 recommend this place.“

The almond and raisin rice-toppers are a nice touch a lot of places don't offer.But the real standout here in a town with hundreds of Mediterranean options is the demeanor of the owner and staff.
