“Just tried your new Ft Wayne location yesterday. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for years, your food is as close to legit as I have found since moving back to the USA!! The chicken Schwarma and tabouli were soooo good!! The falafel was the best I have ever had!!! The pita bread was excellent that the Schwarma was made with!!! We will def make the 1.5 hour drive to go back and do it frequently!!!“

“I will give you five stars because I want you to be good Or great like you used to be. I just picked up a fattoush Salad. It was light on the salad, but a lot of the other ingredients felt like they were in there to compensate. The garlic sauce was also packed in with the salad and I got a chicken breast with this. Packing it this way made the garlic sauce, warm and runny. I don’t give anything less than five stars because I know you guys got potential to get back to Your greatness.“

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “Came to the food court sad and tired after I missed a return date on my clothes, guy called me over for a sample of his shawarma and I really liked it. He then threw a piece of bread on the ground because a bird had gotten in the food court and the bird swooped down and ate it. “If you see any reviews of 4 stars or less, do yourself a favor and disregard them. Every single time I have been to Zarzoor it has been an absolute amazing experience. 10/10 every time with the absolute best service! Next time you’re in town, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Make sure to also ask for Rima as your server - she’s spectacular and made the experience even better AND Make sure to ask for the Lentil Soup!

It's the only restaurant I've ever been to where the actual food is prettier than the photos. I have tried 97% of the menu and my very favorite is the Greek Rice Bowl with grilled shrimp. The dressing is so good mixed with the tzitziki - it's always delicious. I have no photos because I eat it too quickly before I remember to snap a picture!“

“My husband and I love Lebanese cuisine so it was something we sought out when traveling to Detroit for a concert. This spot blew us away. The hummus was silky, the baba was top tier, the tabbouleh was lemony and delicious, the softest foldable pita, perfectly made grape leaves, and flavorful fried kibbeh! It is clear upon entering that it is family owned and the staff could not have made us feel more welcomed and at home- we were on a first name basis with all by the time we left. The graciousness and gratitude of every person running the place made for a special experience. Will seek Al Kabob out the next time we’re in the vicinity!“
