“I must say and being truthful this bar has never let me down staff always took good care of me. My only problem is I wish that go back to ha e different theme nights had a really good time when they did. But overall it's still a good place to go and have some good drinks and food.“
“We had a great experience at Twin Peaks. Our servers were attentive without being overbearing. Great beer selection. I had wings that were excellent. Dry rub and sauce available. I wish I could remember the servers names, but they were fun natured.“

“Some things are a miss, but mostly everything is pretty good. I really enjoyed their Quesadillas, Chicken Alfredo, and Club Sandwich. The service is always great as well. If you like Alfredo I highly suggest trying it! These are pictures of food from me and my mom’s birthday party we had there.“

My reservation was messed up but they took are of us. It's a pretty small sports bar. But I enjoyed how the played the volume of the game and played music on time outs and half time. “I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“The food here is better than we could have ever imagined. It has become a food staple in our family with the great deals it makes for an affordable and delicious dinner! We love the hot pretzel appetizers and the large burgers that are very generously portioned. We have been here multiple times and have never had something that we didn’t like! All of their food was kept at a manageable price range -and not to mention that all of there food is portioned to feed at least a few. The beverages were reasonably priced and fantastic tasting. We highly recommend the city grill and bar to you and your family.Dietary restrictions: There are many gluten free and vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: my kids love it here they have great food and my kids are pretty picky they love there food and the variety that is given. “I went to the one in Troy, for over a decade. Re: Rochester, I had some extraordinary chicken fajitas, pizza's is decent, pastas is okay, but more importantly, it's a rare place in Oakland county where you can have a variety of dishes and they're all pretty much down the pipe. Burgers are extremely good, and the staff is friendly with lots of smiles and good eye candy (cute staff), lots of TV's, and the lights aren't obnoxious, what more do you want?“
“I actually had some time to myself in the afternoon on Easter and stopped here for a quick bite and drank. I was floored at how well everything ran on a busy holiday. The service was extremely friendly and all over any requests I had. The food and drinks were great and the restaurant just appeared to run like a well-oiled machine. Most restaurants are short staffed on major holidays, whereas Grand Tavern appeared to have it all figured out ahead of time.I had visited a couple times to watch NCAA tournament games and I've noticed that things here have really improved over the last couple months. Food orders come out quicker than ever and the staff is very attentive. The owners hired a new manager called Netty a couple months ago that I've met and had some friendly banter with, and she is absolutely brilliant at what she does. Extremely friendly and very service oriented. Whatever they're paying her is not enough.Obviously I'll continue to be a regular customer to Grand Tavern while it continues to impress.“

“My pregnant was craving fish and chips on this Friday Night. Decided to try Victory inn and they did not disappoint. There fries are seasoned which I really like, the tartar sauce is homemade which you never see and the Mac and cheese also I homemade and is fantastic. Even tried the pretzel bites and they are exactly what I was hoping for, nothing fancy. Soft, salted pretzels and nacho cheese. The only way it should be. The fish was great also ( fish and chips is pretty similar anywhere I think) but everything else made the meal really stand out. And the staff was great, very sweet to my wife when she ordered and congratulated me when I got there. Great experience, would recommend to anyone. Nice fun atmosphere on the inside to, next time we'll dine in“
“J’s is our favorite go-to spot. The staff are truly awesome - so kind and go out of their way for customers, especially Jake who we cannot say enough nice things about. Food is always excellent, far far above & beyond typical bar food - love everything from their dill pickle pizza to wings to salads to delicious chicken tenders. Take-out pizza is also a great option. And drinks are consistently flowing. Great place to watch games or just hang out on any given night. Proud to call this place our fave neighborhood haunt!!“

“Haven't been here in years mostly because of the smell and mediocre service however went here after work recently and was pleasantly surprised! It no longer smells like spilled alcohol and stale cigarettes. Also the server we had was very attentive and nice. The bartender also was courteous by asking if the music was too loud as she was adjusting it. I've never encountered that before and quite honestly it should be more often in other establishments!The food was good. Deep fried food didn't taste like old grease & my friend's gyro was HUGE (and she said it was good).Happy to say we'll be back. Much better atmosphere there now than in the past for sure.“
