“I had a pleasant experience with this place. All of the food seemed fresh, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very vibrant.

The 2 times in which I went, our group sat outside, being that it was summer. They had trivia, which I assume is every Wednesday.

As for food, I got the caprese sandwich on the first occasion and the then the Tomato basil soup on the second. Both were good but the caprese sandwich was very good. While the menu is not huge, it does offer the basics and has a few healthier options, such as vegan dishes.

Overall, the atmosphere and food qualiy make this place worth checking out.“

“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. Food is Awesome, staff are friendly and helpful and the music brings a vibe that makes you happy and want to party. Let’s just say I love the Locker room. Ask for Lacey she’s the best waitress.“

“Was my first time in Churchill’s yesterday, 03/28. Had no idea what to expect, never understood the purpose of the cigar. With that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was great, the old fashioned was amazing and that cigar…now I get it!! So relaxing, great atmosphere and with a great tour guide who was also celebrating his birthday. I've been to other places where we have been served by the bartender that only cared about the regulars. She was awesome and very attentive. My dirty martini was on point! “I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“Cjs Pub is a fun local sports bar. The menu is reasonably priced with many sliders, loaded hotdogs, and other items. Bartenders Toni and Jesse are friendly and enthusiastic and help the atmosphere. There is an arcade and the pub has entertainment on different nights, trivia Monday and Wednesday, dj Friday and now Karaoke on Saturday.“

“The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“

“We held a small bridal shower today at the Troy location. We, as organizers live several hours from Troy so had to make arrangements over the phone and sigh unseen. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and welcoming appearance. Rick was wonderful in assisting in every way possible, table set up, reducing the music in the back room, refreshing beverages and more. The food was excellent. And the prices very reasonable. We will definitely hold future events here as they occur.“

“Last night my family and myself went to Grand Tavern for supper after a long day. Our waiter Xhorxh was absolutely amazing! Personally, I have dietary restrictions and explained to him that I am unable to have gluten, dairy, or egg. I had already pre-creeped the menu before arriving so I could find a meal that would be easy to hopefully adapt to my dietary restrictions. After explaining my restrictions Xhorxh was ON IT! He immediately spoke to the chef and the chef adapted my meal to my restrictions. Xhorxh did tell me that there could be a possible cross contamination with gluten on one of my sides and explained that they couldn’t guarantee that that one thing would be gluten free. Listen, not very often in the service industry do you come across a wait staff member or chef that made sure to cross all of the boxes. I ordered brussel sprouts as the appetizer without the cheese (I could have had three plates of that it was so good) and the cedar plank salmon and ordered two veggies as my side. IT was DELISH!!!!! Xhorxh also made sure that our drinks were constantly filled and took amazing care of our family. My MIL even made a comment after we received our meals how she really liked him as a waiter. I wished we had a Grand Tavern where we lived but unfortunately we are 8 hours away but we will absolutely be back when visiting family! ❤️“

“The food was good, but let me explain the 3 stars I gave it. A 5-star restaurant is reserved for high end dining, as is 4 stars. If I were to rate the food based on their peers (bar food) it would be 5 stars. The menu had a lot to chose from. My brother raved about his patty melt. The chicken Quesadilla was fantastic. “The most classic sports bar a sports bar can get. Some of the best pizza in town, some of the best wings in town, in the atmosphere is a classic sports bar. They even got the Jumbotron as a queer guy who likes sports And good food, This place is awesome.“

“We enjoy to go out. Last night we visited this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We had a lovely experience there with superb cooking and an experienced stuff and a talented chef. We added this restaurant in our list and we will certainly return very soon. We highly recommend.“

“Wandered in here on a random Friday night. Tapped beer was crisp, fresh and cold. Managed to get a really great burger with fries before the grill closed, and had more fries and cheese sticks before close. For bar food it was really good. 4 stars

The bartender Lex was funny and attentive to her customers without being obnoxious - her service and timing were fantastic. Seemed to have a good rapport with other patrons/regulars. 5 stars

The bar itself is a good size and there's a few tables but there isn't much room otherwise. They did have karaoke after 9 which was fun, but there's not really room to dance to music. The parking lot itself is small and the area is dark but there seemed to be parking out front in the street that was well lit. 3 stars.

If you're looking to talk to people, grab a seat, have some drinks and grab a bite this is good. If you're looking to dance or need a lot of space this might not be it. Recommended to be aware of your surroundings heading to the parking lot after dark.“

“We didn't eat here, we stopped in for a cheer. This charming, and cozy bar had superb staff members who were extremely friendly, personable, professional, and provided speedy service. We saw some bands play in their parking lot during Royal Oak Tacofest. There's a small outdoor patio, and several tables inside The Rock on 3rd. Their beer menu is decent, and their martinis are delicious. Must visit!!“
