“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. Wine, was by the glass and was both red and white and light, semidry and elegant. Our perfect dinner ended the perfect evening. Thank you 220 Merrill for a wonderful 50th.“

“We enjoy places that offer a Happy Hour which includes FOOD options. I do not drink alcohol, but I enjoy trying new places and offering a happy hour menu with food allies me to do that. Clam chowder was good, wings were ok, we did ask for extra crispy but we didn't get that ( I think many kitchens are on auto pilot and don't always look at the guest's request, this happens a lot with french fries being undercooked), dynamite shrimp was good but I could have used more seasoning. Brit was our server and was fantastic. I also appreciated that the other staff members were helping each other by clearing plates, bowls, etc. . Great causal place.“

“Patti the cook! OMG! Saturday night, all by herself, no help what so ever! Our waitress said she COULD be behind because she’s on her own so our may take a little longer, we said no problem. That was not the case , we had our food in like 10 minutes! I sat at the bar and watched her do the job of about 3-4 people the rest of the night! She’s amazing! This woman deserves a raise for sure !“

Or maybe if business is going well for you could Build a bar in OxFord michigan, or Rochester hills, theres no gay bars or anywhere for people to meet up here. closest places are pontiac and flint, and there are lots and lots of LGBTQ peoples in oakland county, i would even try and get a job if it was closer by. thanks hope u build a place of some kind out this way.“

“The most classic sports bar a sports bar can get. Some of the best pizza in town, some of the best wings in town, in the atmosphere is a classic sports bar. They even got the Jumbotron as a queer guy who likes sports And good food, This place is awesome.“

“Our server Brianna was the best! We had two tables so the little kids could feel like big kids since we were celebrating an 11th bday. She served their booth (3 kids) and our table (3 moms) and was very attentive going between the two. The food was really good too. We had a great dining experience because of Brianna!“

I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“I love the corner. The staff and patrons are like family to me. Since i moved to Ferndale, the corner has been a place that I go when i want to feel a sense of community. To be specific, the karaoke community here is unlike anything I have ever experienced. Marissa, who has now become a dear friend, has always made me feel welcome, whether it be behind the DJ booth or upstairs at Detroit Axe. She has built a foundation at the corner that I think would be much more flimsy without her. Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week and I cant wait to karaoke every Wednesday!“

“I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Oh yeah, I don't drink, but I can vouch for the Coca-Cola tasting good, too ?“

“I've always had a good time here the handful of times that I've been. Bartenders are always great and the vibe was chill with an array of different characters. Very easy to lay low and keep to yourself but also any time that I've mingled with other patrons they've always been pretty cool. Nice big parking lot right off the service drive, which comes in handy if you don't feel like doing downtown Ferndale. Perfect walkable neighborhood joint if you live near 75 and 9 mile. I've never experienced it being too crowded and there's a solid pool table in the back. Also did my first karoake there and had a blast.“

“Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“Good place for a quick bite & drinks prior to heading to the comedy club. The food & drinks were good- the service was good for the most part. We paid full price for 7 drinks but when we realized there was a happy hour menu & wanted to try a drink off of it- our waitress mentioned it was 6:00 & too late. We said it’s 5:55. She replied we go by bar time. What? She ended up putting it in but we found it odd after spending $150 in food & drinks up to that point she’d give us grief about getting $4 off a happy hour drink we wanted to try. We’d go back but for sure ask about specials prior to ordering as they weren’t mentioned.“

“CJs is the place to be. We always have a great time when there. The service and personality of service is A1. I visit every 2 weeks and has never had a bad experience. “This place is great for a quick bar bite, music and a strong drink. Lately the crowd has gotten a lot younger and the servers have changed. The server attitudes have changed and that's not a good thing. Their drinks are always strong, but there's a difference between strong and terrible and that's what we had the last time.
We brought this up to our server and she started to argue with us that the drinks here are always strong. We told her we've been coming here for over 15 years and always order the same drinks, but this one need a tweak. She was just combative and ignored us the rest of the night. This was different from the usual wait staff who are always friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious.“

“We ended up stopping at this restaurant for a dine in at 1:00 pm. The employees there was very nice and respectful. The food (Chef's Burger and Fries) was delicious and fresh. It wasn't even busy on a Monday at 1:00 pm, but the atmosphere was positively good 😊. I will visit this location again 😊“
