“For one week the employees at this store took my orders for our many volunteers for our Oakland Family Services Gifts of Hope event (a toy and gift drive for families in need). Everyone was super nice, and helpful and even delivered the food on time with a smile on their face in the harsh horrible Michigan weather! Austin and Brenden were super amazing!!!! When I picked up my order the young lady, Jam, offered me a paper tray which was nice to eat my food on while dining in, and the restaurant was very clean which gets ten stars for me. I would of liked a hook in the restroom to hang up my purse while I used the restroom. Otherwise a beautiful experience. I will be back to this location in Southfield on Northwestern Highway.“

But, I was invited in with warmth and incredible customer service as the two gentleman were eager to serve me one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had. The steamed meat; with flavor to spare to the crunchy bread on the outside to warm pillow heaven inside. And the mayonnaise they use is fantastic! This is a great location with immaculate service, clean store amazing food and hospitable staff that work hard to deliver you what you deserve- A mouthwatering sandwich made by even better people!

“I stopped into this Subway location for the first time, and it definitely did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the team behind the counter went above and beyond with their customer service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about getting my order just right.
I ordered a footlong chicken teriyaki on toasted bread with lettuce, tomato, and that classic teriyaki sauce—and wow, they did not skimp on the chicken. Even though it might not have looked overloaded at first glance, it was packed and absolutely delicious. You could taste the quality in every bite.
I made it a combo with chips, and everything came together perfectly for a quick, satisfying meal.
One of the best parts about this location is how close it is to my office—huge bonus points for convenience. It’s safe to say this will be a regular stop for me going forward. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall! 👏“

“Sandwiches are somewhat inconsistent. I had two GREAT BLTs (5 stars) over the past week and then I dropped by today grabbing two giant BLTs ($30) for my brother and I. We get home and start eating and both look over at each other at the same time: Something tastes off. After opening the sandwich we see that the tomatoes are more green then red (see photo) and the lettuce tastes rancid as though it's been sitting on a counter in the sun for the past few days. Absolutely inedible. However thankful the staff were understanding and did issue a refund. I look forward to more (hopefully better) sandwiches in the future.“

“Good food. Always great service. I had no idea there's a 3% up charge for using my debit card. There's nothing stating that and I was wondering why lunch for me and my daughter was 32.00 and that's the answer I was told for two subs and two fries. So if I return it will be cash only.“

The food was immaculently displayed, and as a chef I know what it took for them to stand there at the slicer and let the vegetables fall that way. I had to give them a compliment on their food table presentation in the overall presentation of the whole store. I believe the owner / GM was there and he said that he really strives to run a tight ship. Thank you sir because I'm usually disappointed more often than not with food establishments now. It's like most of them do not care including the managers but this is not the case with you.“

“Unlike other Subways nearby that close at 9 PM, this location stays open till 10 PM, which was very convenient for me. The staffs were efficient and friendly.I was surprised to see they had received some poor reviews on Google because my experience was excellent. Additionally, I appreciate that they don't charge extra for water cups and bags also providing all the utensils without asking for footlong cookies and salads.I'm giving them a five-star rating and highly recommend them!"

“Subway has really gone downhill in recent years. And prices have just...crazy!
This particular location was okay, I still don't think you should have somebody in there working by themselves for x amount of hours. The poor kid just did not want to be there and it was obvious. I had a four sub order and he went through the motions of making them and just kind of, blah. The parking in back was kind of creepy! but the parking in front was under construction so; I'm guessing that's why the place was dead. and if I wasn't in a "need them" kind of situation, I probably would have walked out and found a different location. It was just dark and not inviting at all. Idk.
So with that experience; and lack of yumminess, plus ridiculous prices; I don't see myself returning. Sad, because I used to LoVe subway!“
