“Yesterday was my first time eating here and the food was amazing! As someone who has had celiac disease for over a decade and had never eaten at a 100% gluten free restaurant, the experience was surreal. 🥹 To be able to look at a menu and order anything I wanted was an incredible feeling. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly! I am so thankful to have had this experience and I will be back soon! (Also, I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks❤️)“

“I love Russ' - it is a nice, local chain with very good food, friendly staff, and a quiet atmosphere. I come here about 2-3 times a month to eat breakfast and work on my Bible Study. They are consistent in food prep, my coffee is always being refilled, and I have gotten to know the servers pretty well. Overall one of my favorite places to eat!“

“I am staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and received a coupon for this restaurant and decided to give them a try. I think they are trying to put everyone on a diet. Portions are small. I had to pay an up-charge for sweet potato fries with my meal and received 6 fries...6! The gentleman at the bar next to me also ordered sweet potato fries and he got 7. He also made a comment to the bar tender. Its like $1 a fry here...cray cray. Service was good. Food, just eh.“

“Shout out to Eric. He was the bartender (supervisor too?) here. Super personable guy. Made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable while waiting on my delayed flight. Great sense of humor. Really great having him.
The food was delicious. I had a chili-crisp hummus and a chicken bacon flatbread. The former was a combination that I didn't expect, but it was great. and a chicken bacon flatbread.
The drinks were good too. Nice and chill. The customer service by Eric was superb.“

“Went for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and was able to be seated right away. This is a great place to go if you don't like surprises. It has standard breakfast choices. Prices are normal. Food is pretty good. Coffee is middle of the road. Portion sizes are average. Service and cleanliness are top notch.
So if you are looking for a dive, this isn't your place. If you are looking for something creative and eclectic, this is not your place. If you're looking for generic food in a generic setting, this is your place.“

Of note to this reviewer: the cod dinner is spot on. French fries are better than at any other fast food chain, and I am addicted to their strawberry malts!! This Culvers location is a real treat!“

Someone stole our daughters brand new tablet when we were not looking and the staff immediately jumped into action and found and confronted the thief and got it back to us. “whenever I have doctor's appointments in downtown Grand Rapids, my hubby always asks me to get food from here. he used to live close to it and misses it SOOOOO much. So, we had some money today and I headed straight there to get me some GOOD fried chicken and perch. parking can be a pain, but it's definitely worth the wait and hassle. I also think it's soooo cool that they remember my boyfriend, by name, when I showed him a picture of us, and it's been a good 3 years since he has been there physically.“

“We enjoy the quality and preparation of the food. Today we enjoyed a classic Reuben and an Irish Benedict. Both yummy! The restaurant was almost empty at lunchtime. We were so surprised and talked with two of the waitresses. I hope business picks up soon for you all!“
