“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

Overall, it’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food. I’ll definitely be back!“

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

We tried the espresso and an herbal tea (chamomile and lavender) — both were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. They also serve decaf coffee espresso.

Outside, there’s a small garden with beautiful trees and flowers where the birds come to sing, making the scenary from the window even more delightful.

Inside, the presence of green plants adds even more charm — making the space feel warmer, more vibrant, and inviting.

The space is filled with natural light, has high ceilings, and features modern, visually pleasing decor.

It feels fresh, airy, and energetically clean — truly an inspiring place to be.

“If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

Also, there were some free Quran’s which I happily grabbed one to enrich myself ☪️ my only complaint….. they use so much plastic, it hurts my little green soul 🥲💚 drinking from glass or ceramic would be so much more enjoyable, especially when dining in. She was preoccupied because someone was there to pick up a check and she told him he would have to wait because there were no checks and she would call her boss. “I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

“If you complain about the drinks, try other ones. Their drinks are too good. I literally cannot choose which is my favorite out of five of them. Everyone is quiet, not obnoxious, and respectful. The service is great. They make sure to always greet you and say goodbye when you leave. They always inform you if your drink needs stirring. They always show gratitude towards tips, and this also helps the atmosphere feel cozy and warm. I love the music playing in the background and how sometimes they even take song requests. 10/10 for everything.“

“DOC Royal Oak for me is the best option in the Royal Oak area for espresso-based drinks. The loungey seating is better than most places but the ambient music that is always running is a great reason to sit and enjoy a coffee. Excellent selection of tunes with a wide variety ranging from old school funk to modern chill. The roasted coffee selection for purchase rates very well. And the baristas are well-trained in pulling top-tier shots to go along with perfectly frothed milk for your cappuccino or macchiato (my go-to’s)“

“We love iFreeze! We took our daughter who has Celiac Disease. They have items marked as gluten free on the menu. She had the S’mores ice cream and loved it. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. It’s so important to us to have safe places for our daughter to eat and have dessert. Would recommend iFreeze to anyone!“

It was late morning on a March Tuesday. We were a party of six, everyone ordering a different coffee drink. All six were happy with their drinks, including one of our party who works at a (nearly-nationwide) drive thru coffee place.
The atmosphere was chill. There were four or five individuals sitting/working and enjoying their coffees. The shop is larger inside than it initially appears; there's another room beyond the main/entry room with an upright piano and books lining the wall. If anything could be offered as an improvement, it *might* be the addition of a few more cafe tables/chairs in the 'library' room but only because it's such a cool room.
The building has character and history. Photos on the wall and some of the fixtures tell the story.
We'll make it a point to stop in next time we're in (or near!) Hamtramck.“

“Ive had some tacos before, but Never an Arepa. food is delicious. I got one Chicken Arepa, one bowl, and Definelty was worth popping in after seeing on Chow Down Detroit reviewed. They were out of beef, but definitely gonna pop on here and there. They also have a nice food truck for bars or events looking for vendors or food trucks. definitely one worth trying if you see the truck 💯 Juicy, flavorful and definetly filling with just 1.“
