“We come here specifically for Cindy and the food. She is so great and caring to all the clients and treats us as family. Thank you for making a dine in or take out experience always feel like a dinner at home with your kindness. May you all be rewarded for that you’ve done with your business!“
“We picked this spot needing to get a quick bite when in the area. La Thai is a pretty casual place; you place your order at the counter, and then they call you when the food is ready (although it was slow when we were there, so staff brought the food to us). The portions were big for a reasonable price, and both of our dishes were tasty. The staff was very friendly and willing to chat with us a bit. Definitely not a bad place to go to.“
“Best Thai meal at a restaurant I’ve had. Sensational. This place is worth the drive. I see a lot of reviews about small plates. That’s probably if you do the taste testing option. My daughter and I each ordered our own meal and the proportions were large enough to bring leftovers home. The flavors are incredible. They are deep and layered, and have the perfect spice. My daughter had the Jungle Mussels. The broth could be a meal on its own with the garlic toast to dip in it. The chicken curry (KHAO SOI ) was also the most flavorful version I’ve had. My only pause was the whole drumstick. I would have preferred smaller pieces in the broth than picking apart the chicken off the bone. The Coconut pan cake appetizer was fun and different. So delicious. My daughter had the non-alcoholic blackberry and cardamom tea. I had the Special Thai tea with rum. Both were delicious and complimented the meal well.My daughter was treated with a desert of coconut ice cream with a crumble topping and sauce. Was so good, no other ice cream desert could compare. The service was attentive and had a menu prepared for us to indicate the allergens we needed to avoid. The atmosphere was laid back and casual and tastefully decorated in a fun, modern and crisp way. Can’t wait to go back.“
“My family loves thai food, and we have been to so many places. We all love coastal thai. Food is excellent!! The staff is super nice and friendly. It's a cute place in a nice area of Wyandotte.I highly recommend trying the crispy rolls! We have tried many dishes and haven't found one we don't love.Nice portions, too!!.“
“My Chicken Pad Thai - Spicy was very good. Very fresh and the heat level was just right. I wish it was a bit saucier and I could have used some salt but I know that they don't use table salt in Thailand so points for being authentic. The atmosphere left something to be desired. I know it's just a small little place in a strip small but it could still do with some authentic Thai decor to "tie" (see what I did there ;) it all together. My server was great! He was so kind, very quick, and attentive without being overbearing. It is on the higher side as far as price is concerned. I only say that because the meal here costed as much as meals I get at some ritzier/fancier restaurants, only this place was definitely geared to be more of a casual restaurant.“
“Jee's is probably the best Thai food I have ever had. The food tastes great and everything has a home made quality to it. The service is also good and Jee herself is almost always there. You can tell they take pride in their business here and it is great to see from a local small business. I don't go anywhere else for Thai anymore.“
“My husband and I have been ordering take out from here for about two years now and this is by far my favorite place around. We always get the chicken fried rice add shrimp with mild spice and 4 spring rolls!I’m not 100% so don’t quote me but I’m pretty sure it’s one lady who owns the place who does all of the cooking herself. The food proves so freaking good every single time. We will be long time customers.Just please try this place. Give it a go. You have nothing to lose.“
“The Basil Court is a gem in Windsor. Has been around for 30 years and has a very loyal customer base. Food is always delicious and served with a smile. Downtown Windsor is very fortunate to have it. Still great value even with the recent rise in food prices. Fresh ingredients all around. Don’t be fooled by the building or the aging decor. You are there for a delicious meal.“
“I love this place so much. Everything on their menu rocks. Service is excellent, even with them being constantly busy. Can’t beat this spot for amazing pho. My photos are from a day we specifically set out to try non pho items, which also slapped. Highlyyyyyy recommend. Highly. (Enthusiastic Emphasis added!)“
“My favorite Thai spot, hands down, I drive over an hour sometimes, and they have never disappointed me. If you want good food and great service, this is it! They have the best prices and the best tasting foodVegetarian options: Tofu and vegetarian dishesParking: Parking behind the building is the best, the main road is always packed.“
“I love the fried rice with chicken and beef. It also comes with veggies on the side. I love that there is consistency every time I order it. Considering the price, I think the food portion is perfect. Saigon allows in-person dining and also offers delivery. There is no free parking however there is paid roadside parking.“
“Please support this business! They have lovely staff and they've never messed up my order and it's tasty too. The interior isn't great(it's just where it's located and how the building is set up. They really try to make it look as nice as possible), but it's not terrible. Very clean, and lots of options. Probably one of the better places to get pho in Downriver.“
“This place is amazing. I’ve had it twice in this week and it was so good both times. The lady at the counter was so sweet despite being all alone. I don’t know her name but she was very kind and helpful when we came in for takeout. Please be patient with her! Great food and flavor.“
“The Good: Food is delicious and authentic. Generous portions. Very friendly staff. Nice setting. Halal food. The bad: You will have no idea what the price of anything is. On the front of the menu, there is a sticker which says everything is $1 more because of higher costs. Most pages have "meat options" pricing section, which you will have to guess what it applies to. Some pages have no pricing at all. When confronted with this at the time of billing due to confusing prices, ownership/management's response (not delivered directly) is pathetic "you should have asked". Tragic to ruin an otherwise wonderful experience and disincentivize from coming back.“
“Looking for a Chinese food place and ended up finding this gem.Hibachi, sushi, Chinese. It’s great for the price, close and they seem to do allot of Togo orders. We ordered the bento box, bang bang chicken, Alaskan roll, the steak and lobster hibachi, gyoza, spring roll, and a crunchy crab roll. And they give you good sized portions.Everything tasted great, food was tender and flavorful. The wait staff are super friendly and cute. Will definitely be coming back. Great place to eat.The atmosphere isn’t extravagant, simple and convenient.“
“It’s been so long since we stopped by and boy was the food delicious. We had the shrimp and Chicken spring rolls and the candied beef with sticky rice. Both dishes were excellent as we expected with Chef Genevieve in charge. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. Parking was a little bit of a chore mind you.“
“What can I say about Bangkok 96? The food as always was stellar. Their food is by far my favorite Thai food in the Metro Detroit area. The service was great staff was friendly and ready to help they made some good recommendations and the food as I said before came out amazing. The only negative thing I can say about my experience the last time going in is that I miss their old dine in space as I felt that was a nice place to bring a date or a group of friends. However they recently changed their dine-in space to a more dine-in casual kind of thing which isn't a bad thing but I do miss the old dining room.Overall it's a four out of 5 stars for me Good food good service I just miss there old dining room.“
