“The restaurant is a little smaller with a more intimate feel. We sat at a small high top table next to the bar and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Throughout the night, at least 6 different servers took care of us (sitting next to the bar, we were taken care of by the bartenders.) The food and drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. My boyfriend had the peach cocktail and then an old fashion with honey cinnamon syrup and I had the mule which all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. We both had the Steak frites which was cooked to perfection and the fries I just couldn’t get enough of. For dessert, we took home the banana pie dessert and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake special and let me just say, oh my goodness. Neither of us knew which one we liked better. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing valentines dinner :)“

“Just had my first visit to The Townhouse, and it was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the service blew me away. Everyone was super attentive, professional, and welcoming, but Raegan really stood out. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, gave thoughtful recommendations, and her friendly energy made me feel right at home. Honestly, she turned a first-time visit into an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. The vibe of the restaurant combined with that kind of service makes it feel special without being stuffy. “This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“Old school diner with great service and plenty of menu options. Seating was a little tight. We were in a booth and heard the entire conversation on both sides. Food itself was good - everybody got what they wanted - a Coney, a Greek salad with chicken, etc. Seemed like a nice neighborhood place and worth the short walk from Eastern Market.“

“Like most places in Detroit, especially during the winter time I originally thought it might be a dive bar, but turned out. I was only half right one of the best breakfasts I had visiting my family in the area, The sausage gravy was Seasoned very well on the biscuits and gravy eggs were fluffy And the only time I have ever enjoyed home fries, crispy on the outside fluffy and soft in the middle.“

“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!“

I asked if they had a room I could pump, although they didn’t have a secluded area for me, they let me pump in this back area. Thankfully I had a wearable pump so you can’t see anything but one of the bartenders brought me a water & a hotdog and was just the sweetest man. Truly thankful for their hospitality! So very sweet! “We were in the neighborhood for an event at Epiphany and were looking for a place to eat and have a drink before the show. We decided to try Zell's Corner based on the location and reviews, and I am so glad we did. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the corner bar atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. When we are in the vicinity again we will definitely be back for the food, cold beer and to say hello to our new friends.“
