“We had dinner and it was delicious. Every single dish had its own character and unique P+P touch. We had Steak Tartare (mayonnaise based which was different but good), Filet Mignon, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Lobster Risotto, I forget the name of the salad - and the cocktails were *perfect* and presented beautifully. The service was incredible, staff friendly and welcoming, overall atmosphere outside (where we sat) was perfect and spacious. Honestly for my Wife and I to start our evening for an anniversary date night at P+P - I couldn’t be happier. You will spend money. It’s worth it. They did go the extra mile for us, had a Happy Anniversary card waiting, brought out a desert for us with an edible chocolate piece that said “Happy Anniversary” - and it was fun. I cannot wait to go back.“

“We celebrated our August wedding anniversary at Coriander, and were delighted! We sat in the Greenhouse, the view was great, loved the decor. Our server was friendly and helpful, everyone was so kind. Loved the drinks Thad made, our meals, Rainbow Trout and Shrimp Boil were excellent. My guy enjoyed the peach cobbler for dessert, the cookies were delicious as well. As native Detroiters, we are thrilled with this venue, and will be back!“

The menu was just updated and has some tasty new additions like the Detroit Brat with some updates to old favorites. The service we received from Laura and Zach was phenomenal. “If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Wonderful Coffee! The hand made syrups were probably the best I ever had. I tried two lattes, one with vanilla lavender and the other with honey cinnamon and they were great! I recommend both of them with oatmilk. The owner was super friendly with my party and I and we had a very nice conversation with her while she made our lattes. Down Under is only FOUR minutes away from the TCF, walking. There is NO reason to ever get Starbucks again while I am in Detroit for Youmacon. A definite must for all the con goers to give them a try!“

“I always get the breakfast #1 eggs over easy, the bacon sausage and white toast. But the restaurant is under new management. Now on the menu is also Mexican food. It really looks tasty so I think I will be going back in the near future quite often ??“

“I tried the Chai ice cream mixed with Biscoff the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The nitrogen gives it an incredibly smooth texture, and the flavor is perfectly balanced with the right amount of chai.

However, I do have one complaint: their hours can be unreliable. Even though their Google listing says they’re open, I’ve found them closed several times when I’ve visited. This is particularly frustrating because I drive from Florida to Michigan for a week during Christmas break every year and always make a point to stop by. It’s disappointing to arrive and find them closed, especially since their mobile ordering system still works.

Overall, the ice cream is extremely creamy and delicious, but I wish they’d improve their consistency with hours.“

“We had drinks here today and my vodka and cranberry only cost $4.50ea (as of 09/26/23) which is the cheapest I’ve found in a while! And the bartender who is also the owners daughter is super sweet! We had a great time! This is definitely a place we’d visit again! There is no food besides some chips!“

I waited like 15+ mins in the rain to order. I walked inside half way through the wait to look for someone, never found anyone. Went back outside & waited with 4 more people & no one ever came so after 15+ mins, I went upstairs to the store & asked for help. The girl working found the cook (who also takes the orders) & just happened to be on lunch. I wouldn't have minded waiting if there would've been a little 30 min break sign up or something.
