“Everything at Gin Gin’s is top notch; from the food to the service to the atmosphere. It is easily the best restaurant in GR! Downside is that it’s hard to get in. You have to get there at open if you don’t have a reservation and if you need a reservation I’d recommend booking at least a week in advance, especially on the weekends.“

“My girlfriends and I met at Blue Water for dinner tonight. Our waiter named Will made our dinner so enjoyable and fun. Our dinner came out so fast and the food was delicious. We split a dessert that we all didn’t care for. The General Manager Sheena came over immediately and offered us to try something different. She brought us a new dessert. She was so sweet and personable.“

“We didn’t check what time they closed so we were kind of jerks and showed up half hour before closing. Even still the staff was all wonderful. It was our first time here so we took a minute ordering, but she was still sweet waiting patiently. When we got the food it was all excellent. They even took my mom’s/grandmas burger back to cut it in half because they always share one. I will definitely be returning hopefully while they still have the Krispy krab burger.“

“This place has socialize on the way but if you're having too much fun they'll tell you they have to serve another table amd tneed you to cash out. If you want to have fun and socialize...I Do NOT recommend you go to West Sife Socal because that is not the vibe of this place. More like ANTI social!!! “Our favorite restaurant no longer serves Manhattan style clam chowder and we are nothing less than heartbroken. We didn't realize that our favorite thing there wasn't popular enough to retain as a menu item when Leo's changed hands. We can live with the smaller lobster tails, but this is really hard for us to take. Cry.“

“The best Pinapple shake, great burgers and chicken stripe. Have had their onion rings too. So worth it. I make it a point to getting their twice a month. For my own little reward. “Today my wife and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time and said to ourselves “we moved here in 2024 and are now just trying it. Wish we did earlier.”

We were very happy with everything from the time we entered to the time we left and here is why…

1. Staff - all that we interacted with were very kind, nice, helpful, and attentive. Our waitress was well versed in the menu and did a great job. We enjoyed having her serve us.

2. Food - today we went right for the entree (skipped apps) and could have been more pleased.

My chicken strips and tots were done to a crispy golden perfection that I just loved with the BBQ sauce they served. Highly recommend.

My wife said her burger was excellent and the loaded tots were so good she could have had them just on their own.

And the prices were very reasonable yet, worth it.

3. Atmosphere - a sports bar with many TVs for fans to watch the game (myself included) is a perfect atmosphere for me but when you go to converse with others, it’s always perfect when nothing over powers your conversation.

By this I mean the TVs were not blaring and neither was music. It was a calm easy going feel where we both could enjoy great conversation without saying “huh? Can’t hear you.”

All in all, we may have waited a few years before trying Big E’s on Beltline in Grand Rapids but better late then never. We will be back and recommend it to anyone interested.“

“Alyssa the bartender was amazing!! I didn't get any alcohol but I did try the new dirty soda in Dr Pepper and the blue Mountain Dew, both were so good. And that's coming from someone who normally orders water exclusively! Overall great atmosphere. I want to come to this location many times more.“

“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“Wow! My wife and I celebrated our 16 year wedding anniversary here tonight. The food, absolutely amazing! Drinks, amazing! But what I really want to rave about is how wonderful their service and hospitality was. We had a lovely hand written note at our table wishing us a happy anniversary. Multiple people told us happy anniversary. Our server, Ericka, she was real genuine and nice and at the end of our dinner she brought us a vase of flowers. This was hands down the best dining experience we have had. Thanks for making this an enjoyable and rememberable night for us.“

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! Servers were incredible. Personable, upbeat, made suggestions, even spent a few minutes telling us all the fish's names (Shout-out to Insane Clown Posse, Flapjack, and Spaghetti)

The drinks were great. They are tiki drinks, so you know they are way too crushable for how much rum is in them.

I got the Szechuan pork bowl, veggie spring rolls and both were great. Pork bowl was such a unique flavor and everything melded together perfect.

The spring rolls were some of the crispiest I've ever had.

And the atmosphere was nailed. It felt like your grandparents 60s basement.“
