“I love this place! Best breakfast sandwich in town! Get a lemon bar if you can grab one before they sell out! I have had some minor customer service issues like needing to ask to have tables cleaned and forks not being stocked (you have to grab your own and when they are out you’re stuck with food getting cold) but they have always been resolved with a smile.“
“The only thing I would change about this business is that they're not open year round, because when they're closed, I really miss them!Great coffee and a huge variety of drinks and ice cream. There is a cute little area outside where you can sit and fun, eccentric decor inside. Definitely check them out!“
“The atmosphere is inviting for adults as well as children, with plenty of seating for parents to relax while their children play. The playscape is filled with vibrant colors and has a variety of activities to keep children engaged and entertained. From slides and climbing structures, the playscape offers something for kids of all ages. The attention to detail in the design and maintenance of the playscape creates a fun and safe environment for children to enjoy. It's clear that the staff takes pride in their work, as the playscape is always clean and well-maintained.Overall, it's a fantastic place for families to spend time together and for kids to have a blast playing and using their imagination.“
“You wouldn’t say from outside that this Cafe in fact have a soul. Interior is truly spectacular, hot drinks and food ok.Staff is super amazing and welcoming, especially owners(didn’t catch their names). Follow them on facebook and instagram and you will discover a place with many local events happening almost daily/weekly.“
“Yes there is such a thing as Polish Cuisine and this is a shrine to it! Been coming here since the early 80's when there were actually houses around it and the place hasn't missed a beat. After my latest visit I realized I never left a review. Cant comment on too much of the menu because I always get the perch or walleye??which is always excellent. My dining companions no matter what they get always pronounce it great. The atmosphere is like a time warp or 30's replica movie set. Great Polish beers and the best Bloody Mary which is generously spirited. Don't be dissuaded by appearance outside, it's relatively safe by Detroit standards and qualifies as a genuine vicarious experience. Smaczna!“
“We loved this little place! We went on a weekday at lunchtime. We waited about 5 minutes to order and then about 10 minutes for our food to come out. My husband and I tried the potato & cheddar, jalapeño, mushroom swiss, and chicken bacon ranch. We really liked all of the flavors! We also tried dessert crepes that were so good. The restaurant itself is small and chilly, but the quick service and good food make it a great lunch spot.“
“I'm soooo mad that I haven't eaten here sooner!!! Everything was fresh !! Corned beef hash was amazing!! Belgium waffle was perfect !! Potatoes were on point!! My brother even said the pancakes tasted like donuts!! Delish!! Can't wait to try something else!!! ?“
“Only been here for the coffee, so review is based on that. It's a nice little basic coffee bar, with relaxed upstairs seating. I have gotten side dishes like quiche which were good. The market itself looks nice, has a good selection for its size, with vegetables that always look fresh.“
“Have had the pleasure of someone introducing to this Café. It is without exaggeration the best coffee I’ve ever had. The customer service is above and beyond. My dad and I were there today and the staff was amazing and accommodating. The owner even thanked us for coming. Lots of respect for you guys.“
“Chocolate zucchini bread was amazing. Kale Caesar was great for lunch! Also had the breakfast sandwich which was very tasty and the coffee was great as well. Lots of pastry options like cookies and kouign Amann. Different coffees as well. Service was 10/10!“
“Milwaukee Caffe makes me feel like I'm visiting a European, standing-only, grab-and-go coffee shop if traditional espresso-loving European coffee shops were hip and queer in the absolute best way. I come here to romanticize my life and walk away caffeinated enough to do some damage.“
“Best coffee shop in the 'burg! Great coffee and cappuccino! Oat and almond milk available as well as a variety of syrups to customize your drinks. Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and fair prices all make this place like a second home to its many loyal customers.Vegetarian options: Almond and oat milk lattes are the best here!Parking: Lots of parking spots on the street in front and behind the building on Ramsay St. Access the parking lot to the left of the bakery.Kid-friendliness: Lots of colouring books and toys on hand for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible!“
“Fabulous place with tasty baked goodies and stylish design of the caffee! I had pistachio éclair and raspberry tart. Items were amazing but more on a too sweet side. Not like European deserts that are not too sweet. Will continue my search... And would like to see one day tea served in a cup and not a to go container..“
“I found this coffee shop on my last trip out to MI. I have been craving it since. It was my first stop when we landed. The baristas were super nice and helpful. We got our coffee quickly and accurately. My Mocha was so good! (You'd be surprised how many coffee shops mess up such a simple drink) I dont know what it is about Biggby coffee, but it is so good! I wish Biggby was as big as starbucks is everywhere. It isn't fair that only MI has them. Keep making amazing coffee! Thank you all for the happiness in my cup in the mornings! I can't wait til our next trip out so I can get my fix!“
“UPDATE: They did some remodeling inside and they finally have refreshers in strawberry, dragonfruit, & mango ? I had the strawberry and dragonfruit ones they were amazing the strawberry was my favorite highly recommend ❤️??they're not on the menu yet so you have to go in and order they're $7 each They just opened awesome place their Adeni Chai is amazing and it’s always clean and employees are all good people. Their wall inside with the map is very cool, highly recommend if you love coffee or tea and want to try something new!“
“It was my first time in Downriver Nutrition, and I will say that I will be back! The costumer service was friendly and very helpful. The place is clean with many choices to choose from teas to shakes. I had the special of Nickelodeon teas and shakes. I had the Jimmy Neuton tea from the ‘90s cartoon Jimmy Neutron. It was delicious!!! I will definitely be back for more teas and to try a shake!!!“
“Loved the ambience of the coffee shop. Ordered the regular latte and Detroit fog one of their signature drinks . Initially was skeptical about ordering the Detroit fog since it contained cinnamon sprinkles but turned out be the best drink of choice for the evening . Nice place to work on the projects or assignments. Great service and overall would totally recommend it“
“I visited this shop today. I purchased cheesecakes, cupcakes and banana bread (all keto). I’d like to start by saying that their customer service is EXCELLENT. The quality and taste of the items I’ve purchased is amazing. I’m definitely going back and recommending this shop to everyone! I had a great experience.“
“Literally enjoyed my time here to study, the place is so chill. Service is great and the coffee is too! Desserts are yummy, my fav is the Caramel Milk Cake, I got it as a carry out and It didn't make it past the table ?I would like them to add just 1 or 2 warm savory items to the menu and bamn, they'll have to evict me! ?? Try this place if you want more comfort while studying, I'm sure you'll love it! ☺️“
“I come here to buy all my spices. They are so much better than what you get in the grocery stores! The staff was extremely helpful with any questions I had. Always a wonderful experience and you need to stop by here when you are at Eastern Market!“
“I just went inside the business for coffee. The service was great. The employee was engaging and the decor is niceWheelchair accessibility: Door entrance and common areas are spacious enough for mobility devices and have accessible bathrooms“
“So excited this shop opened up right around the corner from our house. We have loved stopping in for shakes and teas. The staff is always so kind and happy to help explain different options and combinations. Our kids love going here because they look forward to their kid sized shakes. Will definitely be a regulars because we love it so much!“
“This place is absolutely adorable. My 6.5 year old and I came for some girl time and it did not disappoint. The details are perfect and the desserts and milkshakes we had were out of this world amazing. This will be our new regular spotKid-friendliness: My daughter was in awe of the pink chairs, sprinkles on the walls and the really cool lights“
“Great place to get food! Service is great and they give a large amount of food. Prices are very affordable and the food is great. Ive never had an issue here and I've been coming here my whole life. Good luck getting a table Sunday morning though haha.“
“always someone helpful taking my order, my food is fresh, the menu is seasonal, and an almond cardamom chai will forever be my comfort drink. idc if it’s just milk and syrup! also, the butternut squash galette cannot be missed.the only thing i would do differently is add some comfier seating. the chairs, while being perfect for the space and productivity, are a little tough to make work for reading or sticking around a while.otherwise, there’s a collection of books you can read during your time there, and the attached record shop is work a look. could definitely spend some time here.Parking: it’s behind the building. there’s a side street parallel to gratiot starting at russel that will take you there. it’s a cobblestone road.“
“This is a great place to try Herbalife energy teas & meal replacement shakes with delicious flavors! Gotta check out their specials and bring a friend! Below is their “Over the Rainbow” tea bomb it’s so good!Kid-friendliness: Bring the kiddos! They have kids shakes packed with vitamins and protein.“
“I've been here probably a dozen times for coffee and snacks. Finally got a larger meal today. The bread (possibly sourdough) is amazing. Some of the best I've had In the city. And it was a generous chunk with my soup. Next time I'm getting a sandwich “
“Now I'm a avid Smoothie King goer(?) LOL. But one day I was sitting at home and wanted something and stumbled upon Coco Shack. I got the acai bowl which didn't dissappint at all. Today I grabbed the tropical paradise and it led me to write this review lol. It's amazing! I did have blueberries and banana added. My only disappointment are the spoons lol they cut the sides of your lip ??♂️. But since I'm at home I can use my own. Def recommend and will buy againaDietary restrictions: I can only attest to online orders. They have options for every restriction. Just click what you can't have and it won't be included! Simple as pie“
“The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant were really nice. There were booths as well as longer tables for groups. My family and I tried three of the sandwiches, and they were all delicious. We tried the Superior, Mackinac, and Ontario. I think the Superior was the best. The tomato basil soup was decent, and the red velvet cookie with ice cream was really good. The menu is 100% halal. They also serve smoothies, milkshakes, and lattes. Overall, it was a good experience, and the customer service was also great.“
“This evening, I came in for dinner and drinks. I had the perch and my girlfriend had the polish dinner. Both were very delicious. The drinks were great! We sat at the bar and Heather was our bartender. She was fantastic! I highly recommend giving this bar a try. I will add that I strongly recommend getting there before 5pm on Friday, because it was absolutely packed by then.“
“Detroit's most unique hidden Gem next door to Detroit Art Institute. Baba, ma and daughter working in front of the house, just walk up order take a seat. They bring your meal to the table. See the website full menu and reviews We had a marvelous mixed plate of Indian Lamb and Chicken Curry with Naan bread. It was some of the very best ever eaten. “The atmosphere is semi-loud and fun. Clean, friendly, and welcoming. The food is amazing. Stayed in Detroit 4 days, ate here the last two days in a row. Both days, myself and 2 other guests enjoyed every morsel of food we ordered. Big portions. Highly recommend the stuffed French Toast, the Irishman Benny, the Churro French Toast sticks, and the Huevos Rancheros.“
“My wife and I were visiting from Chicago looking for a cool, laid back place to end the night. Dino’s hit the spot!Dino’s offers some great late night finger food and well-priced drinks. In fact, Dino himself was there, and is all the time! A great neighborhood bar with good vibes, and fun times. Thanks Dino!“
“What a wonderful dining experience tonight. Angel provided exceptional service, all selections were top quality & delicious, beautifully presented. And thank you for birthday dessert treat❤Dietary restrictions: I told them I was gluten & dairy intolerant. I've had no issues. Highly recommend!“
“Beautiful place, gorgeous on the inside and outside!Surprisingly not dog friendly despite them selling dog treats??The food was pretty good, definitely on the more expensive side so not the best for students but it tastes fresh and got some unique options. Lovely to have vegan options that are actually filling! The staff is mostly nice I'm sure but the girl I encountered today was very rude; couldn't imagine her to smiling first off, short tempered when asking customers who just walked in and ordered where they are planing to sit. Talked down to me and my friend and other customers from what saw. But the kitchen staff who brought out my food had a lovely smile and seem so cheerful!Would definitely visit again now knowing what to expect.“
“We had the opportunity to try BonDivan. The cafe is located inside Sheeba. It’s so beautiful. They have a nice seating area. It’s elegant, comfortable and so welcoming. We ordered almond croissant, pistachio cheesecake and cappuccino. The almond croissant was quite big. It was served warm. It was not crunchy or flaky. It was soft. I prefer it with flake and crunch. The filling was also not evenly spread. It tasted good though. The pistachio cheesecake had the right amount of sweetness. It was so yummy. The cappuccino was like any other cappuccino. Overall, it was a great experience. They have a lot more on the menu to offer. Will be returning to try. There is a parking lot in the back. Do check them out.“
“Indulge in a delicious experience at this charming shop where every treat is a delightful masterpiece. From heavenly doughnuts to melt-in-your-mouth cheesecake, each confection is crafted with precision and passion. Impeccable presentation, exceptional flavors, and friendly service make this shop a must-visit for any sweet tooth craving a taste of paradise.“
“Thanks for the reply to my review. I hope you will sincerely consider my comments on the lack of accessibility for customers using wheelchairs. All we want is to be fully independent and go about a normal life like everyone else. The small things like having to ask for help opening a door add up. Thanks!Their coffee is exceptional. Each cup is brewed fresh to order and I have never been disappointed with the quality. Be prepared to pay a premium price for a premium coffee. A very small cup is over $3.50. I wish I could afford to buy a pound to take home! The staff are always very friendly too. My biggest complaint is handicapped accessibility. Although the building has automatic doors and the coffee shop has a ramp, their glass doors aren't automatic and are so heavy that I can't get in or out without asking someone for assistance.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp but their doors are almost impossible to use for someone using a wheelchair“
“Located in the back corner of Windsor Crossing Premium Outlet, this Cafe is pretty unique in Windsor where you can order snacks or beverages and play board games with friends/family as well. There is a wide variety of boards games to choose from and there's also a small area with a couch and video game section. The atmosphere is clean and cozy with plenty of room to socialize and to play with others, although they charge a fee to play the games, if your total per person is high enough from the snacks/food, they will waive it (I believe it's $15).The service is friendly and prices are fair. Overall, I recommend giving this place a try if you want to hang out with friends/family. Or even hang out here while the rest of your family or partner is shopping at the outlet mall.Parking: Located in Windsor Crossing Premium Oulet, there is plenty of spots to park, located in back corner of outlet“
“I like this place! I had some time before I needed to go to another place and decided to have a coffee. Joanne was very kind and told me all the options they had. I went with the special of the day and it was delicious! Best coffee I had for a while. Also ate a Danish which was also very good.“
“Holy cow the absolute BEST coffee house in the neighborhood! Opens up at 7 am and worth the one block walk from the Curio hotel. Each of us ordered a mocha and an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. The food tasted very fresh very natural and unprocessed if that makes sense. We loved it so much we went BACK AGAIN this morning for our round two. Same coffee mochas this morning and for our sandwich, the Jalapeño Pretzel bread (it is salty but go for it!) and the sausage egg and cheese. We picked up a blueberry muffin as well. Unbelievable to have such delightful food and yes, we found James Oliver via YELP. The staff was FANTASTIC and when we find something we love, we indulge like we did two days in a row. So good!“
“This is the best nutrition place I've been too so far. They have a variety of shakes/teas and are ready to answer any questions you might have. Always playing good music and with a cute atmosphere. I recommend the Mud Pie or Birthday Cake shakes; Fish Bowl or Sour Gummy Worm Teas.“
“Such a cute cafe with pastries like meat pies, spinach pies, cheese pies and SANDWICHES. First time here, and I'm beyond impressed with the options for food. I will be coming back again.Vegetarian options: Many many veggie options. Spinach, cheese and mini pizzas are vegetarian options.“
“Kresge Court is at the center of the Detroit Institute of Arts. Although the food is very average and the service is usually busy, the space is very unique and peaceful. It is a great place to have coffee with family, friends, or a loved one.“
“Love this place! Great food with lots of flavour! Nice people working and just a totally welcoming environment! Love the music and they are always playing local music often! As a student the good quality/healthy food that meets many of mine and my friends different dietary needs!Whenever I order anything I don't like they offer to make me a new one! Wayyyyy nicer than any other place near my campus!I can't express how much I love this café! As a small townie moving to this city it's like a slice of home! Not only that but they are dog friendly and have lots of quirky little elements to breath good vibes into the place!“
“Super cute woman owned cafe! The best matcha latte i’ve ever had!! They have a lot of delicious baked goods. I highly recommend the croissants. The only issue is it’s very hard to find a spot to sit sometimes when it gets super busy because it is quite small. But overall 10/10 highly recommend!!!“
“We wanted something fun to do while visiting the area and noticed this little spot had the Detroit River right behind it. I had the most delicious “Michigan salad”. It had a strawberry vinaigrette and was the perfect mix of sweet And savory. The staff were very friendly and really made the experience a great one.I accidentally started smashing the salad before I remembered to take a photo. Trust it was good“
