I came for just a snack in between meals and got two onigiri and edamame and decided to eat in, though I could have marked to take out. “0 out of 5 did not have a good experience it was a long piece of hair in my food and they only took 2 dollars off i was disgusted after eating the majority or my food couldn’t finish and the manager response is this isnt our hair the hair was longgggg and curly i have braids the waiter was really nice but the manager wasnt he even brought the plate back to the table with the hair“

The chirashi poke bowl is very well balanced in the sweet and savory, the rice is perfectly made and the sauce is present without drowning out the flavor of the fish.
The futomaki roll was sizeable and the veggies were crisp and fresh,

“Food here was Off. The. Hook. I ordered some simple sashimi of yellowtail and mackerel. Both were very fresh and very good. I finished with nigiri sushi and it was crazy good. I saw many Japanese patrons and my waitress barely spoke English, but was very nice. I am going to come back here and try their other dishes because I think sushi is not their specialty.“

“This is a family owned restaurant and our experience was wonderful. We were greeted and seated simultaneously and expeditiously. The young male server was very attentive and answered any and all our questions-and I had a lot of them. I also didn’t know the sushi role I got was uncooked, they were happy to replace it with something more satisfactory. It was my first time trying dumplings and OMG it was a 10/10!!!! I DEFINITELY will come again!!“

We started with the croquettes, I got the volcano roll and my partner got the bryan roll but we both tried each others, and then we split an octopus nigiri because we both wanted to try it! At the end the man working the front brought us each a mochi ice cream. Will be going back next time I'm in Farmington“

“I was fasting and needed something quick so I could catch up with my class. I ordered four rolls and told them I was in a rush, and they had my entire order ready in just seven minutes. The service was amazing and they were very responsive and helpful. I really appreciated how fast they worked and how kind they were about it. Great experience overall.“

“First time. Food was fine. Atmosphere is issue. It’s basically a carry out place either some tables. Do it really lacks s any personality. Worst is that they have a doorbell so whenever someone goes or goes it rings. As in every ten seconds. Could not even chat it was so annoying and loud. I mean don’t you see the people come In. Tonight, 3/14/26 I had spicy miso ramen. Which was spicy without being too much, and featured the standard ramen addins [charshu, fish cake, and egg] instead of seafood which seems common in many spicy ramen dishes. Again, the sushi and entrees my family ordered were well received. Sushi Den also has really tasty miso soup, which seems an afterthought in many Japanese restaurants.“

“Shiro isn't your typical restaurant experience. Housed inside a beautiful old mansion in Novi, it has a unique atmosphere that's full of character. Our group of 10 was seated upstairs on the second floor at a large table, and the setting made the meal feel even more special.

The food was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. As the evening went on, the chandelier above us flickered a few times. Was it just old wiring? Probably. But I prefer to believe the mansion has a few friendly ghosts adding to the charm. 👻
