“The best cookies and cinnamon roll in Metro Detroit. The cinnamon rolls are huge, made fresh and served warm on the weekends. They are always a big hit at my Open Houses! Highly recommend both, and I look forward to trying the ice cream cookie sandwich. it looks amazing, you can customize your sandwich by choosing your choice of cookies and ice cream flavors.“

“We love this place for a quick coffee and ice cream date, however, not a fan of the 7 AM text messages so I had to unsubscribe. It might be a good idea to align your texting practices with TCPA regulations which generally restrict messages to after 8 a.m and before 9pm. I can’t be the only one that doesn’t prefer a 7:40 AM text on a Saturday morning about cupcakes 😀“

“My father and I stopped in for lunch at the PF Chang’s inside Somerset Mall, James was our server and took exceptional care of us! The food was delicious but the service is what really put this over the top! James was like a magician, here when we needed him and a ghost when we had mouthfuls of food (no one likes being bothered when they’re eating)… he made excellent recommendations and even brought over a sauce concoction, similar to the trio for our egg rolls that had spicy mustard that was fabulous! Overall you know what to expect from Chang’s and the kitchen delivered but James’s service was perfect and really made our meal an excellent experience! I’ll come here before I fight the crowds at Partridge Creek ever again! Cheers to the whole staff with an extra nod to our waiter James!“

“I ordered the wrong pizza, but they went out of their way and asked if they could remake it for me the way I wanted and would rush it through. but honestly it was my fault, the pizza looked so good I felt like it would have been a waste. I took the pizza as it was and it was beyond amazing!“

“For awhile now, I've been on a mission to find the best pizza around the Troy area and I think I've finally found it. I visited Cottage Inn last week after reading the reviews and found out it was under new management. The manager recommended the deep dish so I went with it. It was very good, and also light & airy which isnt typical of a Midwestern deep dish. I was impressed but I couldn't review this place until I tried the round pizza so I went back tonight and got a large pepperoni. I pretty much knew after the first bite that this was something special. Not too thick, not too thin, and zero flop. Fresh ingredients, decent crunch on the crust, & the flavor....Amazing! I've been here twice and both times the manager has done the cooking, which means consistency. If I were to score it on the Portnoy scale, the deep dish would get a 7.9, but the round would get an 8.7. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!“

“We love iFreeze! We took our daughter who has Celiac Disease. They have items marked as gluten free on the menu. She had the S’mores ice cream and loved it. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. It’s so important to us to have safe places for our daughter to eat and have dessert. Would recommend iFreeze to anyone!“

“Our group of eight had reservations at The Capital Grille after church on a Sunday, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. There was no wait, and we were seated immediately.

We were lucky to have Daryl as our server — he was absolutely amazing! From taking our orders to ensuring our table had everything we needed, he was attentive and professional throughout. He kept our waters and teas refilled and made sure we were well taken care of.

The food was outstanding. The 22-ounce steak, Filet Mignon and Roasted Chicken Breast With Mushrooms And Parmesan Risotto was cooked to perfection, the Korean barbecue appetizer was delicious, and both the French onion soup and clam chowder were full of flavor. Everything we ordered — from appetizers to entrées — exceeded expectations.

The only downside was the wedge salad, which didn’t taste as fresh as we would’ve liked. But that small detail aside, the entire dining experience was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Today was my first time here. we bought several different things, cake slices, cake cup, and cheesecake slices. everything was fresh and delicious! Makenzie was nice and also made a recommendation. We will be back!“

“I stopped in to grab a quick snack for breakfast this morning. Upon walking in I was just struck by the very cuteness of it all, the vibes were immaculate (as the kids say?). I ordered a coffee and a butter croissant. I LOVE a croissant, and always have high hopes - but more often than not I'm let down by an underwhelming bite. So, imagine my delight as I bit into the flakiest, most wonderfully textured pastry I've had in a very long time. The outside was crispy, virtually exploding like a tree struck by lightening (evidence provided of my shirt post-snack), and the inside was soft and perfectly chewy. It was a great way to start the day!“

“Unbelievably good. Obviously the pie is the star of the show. The flavors rotate, but the crust is always deliciously flaky with a perfectly seasoned, not-too-sweet filling. Don't miss out on the savory hand pie either!

Aside from the pies, everything else is also just really good. The other standouts for me are the savory bread pudding, the rosemary cookie, and the lemon poppyseed cookie, but everything behind the glass is phenomenal.

These sisters sure know how to bake. They're closing up their regular operation soon, but I'm optimistic that they'll find a new, more sustainable way to share their delicious baking with the community.“

“Yes, but - the order and pay by phone ruins the overall experience of Mudgies. Can’t ask an app about the menu. Spent 10 minutes looking on the interface to order an ice tea. Figured it was my lack of finding the menu. Had to flag someone down to learn they were out of ice tea. All those things a server would tell you. But alas you don’t get. So good food, crappy experience! Lower your expectations, taking on the McDonald’s approach, sad really. Oh and if you want an item on the side they charge extra for that?! And with this order system no one asked me how my lunch was- or if I needed anything. So my sandwich was cold and sat awhile before it was quickly dropped at my table. I am so bummed - loved this place. The good news is there are now a ton of amazing options for lunch in Corktown. I recommend tipping much less because you are really on your own.“
