“Popped in last Sunday since my partner and I were craving Mexican-style. Had lower expectations being more of what I thought was a 'bar' or sort of hipster hangout, and... it IS both of those things, but WOW! The food blew me away. The nachos were a large portion and loaded with high quality toppings - the cheese sauce might've been my favorite, but the cotija cheese, fresh jalapeno rings, black beans and pickled onion weren't far behind. And DON'T MISS the chipotle salsa... quite honestly probably the BEST SALSA I've ever had. Not TOO hot but smoky, sweet, robust. Just perfection.
My partner's barbacoa taco and chicken tostada were equally delicious. I had one bite of each and was fully impressed and almost ordered my own but had all those nachos to get through. Aside from the great food, the margaritas were delicious and perfectly strong... and the service was attentive and friendly. If I had to choose anything to nitpick I might request added smaller tables instead of long picnic style ones or that the booths be available for 2 tops (they save them for 4 or more) but I understand that this place is generally for 4-or-more and gets very busy on weekend nights. That said we were plenty comfortable at the side rail or could've sat at the bar if we wanted, so there's ample seating.
All in all, we CAN'T WAIT to go back & I think I'll be ordering some of that amazing salsa to go next time... and maybe 1 more of everything on the menu. 10/10 Fantastic!“

“Anita's never fails to satisfy. I ordered two Chicken shawarma entrees and crushed lentil soup for carry-out. I usually pull around to the back now since that's their preferred spot to bring the food out. It took a few minutes more this time to bring it out, but not an unreasonable wait. The staff is friendly. :)

“Had an awesome experience at Pie Sci in Oakland Park. its hard to grab food on the go when its medically necessary to be gluten and dairy free. They do just that at Pie Sci! Picked up a pie to eat before the Tigers playoff game, game lost but Pizza was a home run!“

“My father and I stopped in for lunch at the PF Chang’s inside Somerset Mall, James was our server and took exceptional care of us! The food was delicious but the service is what really put this over the top! James was like a magician, here when we needed him and a ghost when we had mouthfuls of food (no one likes being bothered when they’re eating)… he made excellent recommendations and even brought over a sauce concoction, similar to the trio for our egg rolls that had spicy mustard that was fabulous! Overall you know what to expect from Chang’s and the kitchen delivered but James’s service was perfect and really made our meal an excellent experience! “Ordered a Chicago style pizza. Looked like one, but the dough is wrong - simply regular chewy round pizza dough, not the crispier crust you expect from a Chicago style. Other than that, it was constructed well and tasted good. But not like a real Chicago deep dish.“

“For awhile now, I've been on a mission to find the best pizza around the Troy area and I think I've finally found it. I visited Cottage Inn last week after reading the reviews and found out it was under new management. The manager recommended the deep dish so I went with it. It was very good, and also light & airy which isnt typical of a Midwestern deep dish. I was impressed but I couldn't review this place until I tried the round pizza so I went back tonight and got a large pepperoni. I pretty much knew after the first bite that this was something special. Not too thick, not too thin, and zero flop. Fresh ingredients, decent crunch on the crust, & the flavor....Amazing! I've been here twice and both times the manager has done the cooking, which means consistency. If I were to score it on the Portnoy scale, the deep dish would get a 7.9, but the round would get an 8.7. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!“

If its the weekend there isn't lunch prices duh!
You can not see an empty table,sit yourself down, and wonder why you didn't get service. Duh!
No reservation? You are not entitled to any explanations other then "You are welcome to make a reservation for 9pm tonight" no one has to tell you how long they are holding an earlier reservation for. Its not yours you are not entitled to answers about a reservation that is not yours. DUH!!
So many negative reviews because you feel as though the employees were looking down on you. I have checked across your other negative reviews and they have the same complaint.... I think you are the problem. DUH!!
Last but not least, Your Husband said he called and was told on a Saturday that reservations were not necessary. Yeah sure. He either called the wrong place, or he was told "We aren't taking reservations for today" that is not the same as reservations aren't necessary and if you do not know the difference you have no business eating at an establishment such as this, stick to coney islands because I guarantee its one of those two things. No one told him that Reservations weren't necessary on a Saturday night. Use some common sense DUH!

“Great bakery! They have unique flavor combos on their food. I had a snickerdoodle cookie with fennel seed that was delicious! My cousin had the apple maple pie and she said it was yummy. They had a savory hand pie that day that my cousin bought as well. I've attended a hand pie cooking class there. Everything is hand made and unique.“

“I stopped in to grab a quick snack for breakfast this morning. Upon walking in I was just struck by the very cuteness of it all, the vibes were immaculate (as the kids say?). I ordered a coffee and a butter croissant. I LOVE a croissant, and always have high hopes - but more often than not I'm let down by an underwhelming bite. So, imagine my delight as I bit into the flakiest, most wonderfully textured pastry I've had in a very long time. The outside was crispy, virtually exploding like a tree struck by lightening (evidence provided of my shirt post-snack), and the inside was soft and perfectly chewy. “I've enjoyed the Simply Good Kitchen's offering for the past few years now. I'd categorize it as convenient, full flavored, and healthy. Walking into this place during the day is like walking into perfume or candle store, in that your nose is bombarded with goodness. Its a small location and almost everything is frozen and displayed in freezers. Calling this food a TV dinner does not even come close. IMHO the products are as the name implies, simply good. The food's calibre is home made, tasty, and well portioned. I feel the prices almost on par with eating out (slightly less); probably equal if you factor in electricity and time. If you don't have the bandwidth to go out, but want something great, this is an amazing alternative. Check out their selection as it runs a wide range from traditional N. American to the far east and more. They also have a vending machine in the entrance area that has a decent selection in case you pass by during non business hours.“

“We visited Mudgie’s late in the day on their host day for Sandwich Week. The food is always fantastic here but what truly stands out is the level of service. We were truly touched by the amount of effort and care these people provide. We knew we were late in the day and they were out of a few things as everything is fresh. The host took a great deal of time to run through the menu and made sure that the 12 year old we had with us felt fully taken care of. He ordered a grilled cheese and he likes to dip in ketchup. As they make their own and it was a busy day , they were out of ketchup but moments later, our server came by with some. The server had run to another restaurant in the area to make sure this young guy had his ketchup with his grilled cheese. Thank you to Mudgie’s staff for a great experience“

“Went to Grey Ghost for my wife’s birthday. The place is very clean, and the service was second to none. We were a party of six and had a great time. The food was out of this world.
