“This is my favorite salad place. Everytime I come in the staff greets me/acknowledges me and is so kind! The salads are pretty big and absolutely delicious. My go to is the southwest chicken salad (its got a kick to it so if you dont like spicy..try without dressing or something. I love spicy so) I will definitely be coming back here. “Ran into this place the day before the marathon. Sat at the bar and got recommendations on what to get from the staff. Everything was fantastic. We ended up with calamari, scallops, gnudi, and trilece for dessert. This place was one of the best parts of our trip and we're excited to return. The only thing better than your food is your staff.“

“This was my first time at Zeffs.i was headed downtown to Jury duty and needed breakfast. It was 6:30 am. The employees were so pleasant early in the morning which was a plus. “I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything. The food was great, my guests raved about the pizza and spinach dip. I would book events here in the future without a doubt. “Stopped in after visiting the business next door.
Walked in and was greeted right away and told I can sit anywhere I liked. Waitress took my refreshment order and when she came back I ordered a bowl the beef barley soup, which is one of my favorite soups. Soup was piping hot you could tell it was homemade in part basede on the cut of the vegetables. Was very good, but I added some pepper
I then ordered the super melt, which is a patty melt with added bacon lettuce and tomato, I opted for no tomato.
In between my order arriving at the table, the waitress was constantly switching out by soda, nice touch
The sandwich came to the table and I had added french fries to the order. They appear to be a seasoned or crispy style fry, seasoned right and hot. Sandwich was good size, rye bread grilled to perfection. Was very tasty
One of the better Patty melts I've ever had.
The lettuce made the sandwich a little hard to handle as it was sliding on the bread. No big deal though, I just pulled some of the excess lettuce off and ate that as a little side salad...lol.
Bacon was nice and crispy.
One of the best stops at a restaurant I've had in quite some time. I was very delighted with the food and the experiene. Highly recommend.

“Food is always delicious, only issue I have is the service is not always good and the containers they package the to-go food in is Cheap material. I ordered an omelette and the cheese and moisture from the food made a hole in my paper container if I didn’t notice my food could’ve fell out but other then that the food is always a thumbs up.“

Stopped in before a game at Comerica, and it was a fantastic way to kick off the day. Though the place was short-staffed, the service didn’t miss a beat. Our waitress and the busser were both clearly busy, but they still delivered outstanding service. The coffee was hot with quick refills, and our food came out fast, fresh, and solid all around. Pricing was more than fair for the quality and portion sizes. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!“
