“We had dinner and it was delicious. Every single dish had its own character and unique P+P touch. We had Steak Tartare (mayonnaise based which was different but good), Filet Mignon, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Lobster Risotto, I forget the name of the salad - and the cocktails were *perfect* and presented beautifully. The service was incredible, staff friendly and welcoming, overall atmosphere outside (where we sat) was perfect and spacious. Honestly for my Wife and I to start our evening for an anniversary date night at P+P - I couldn’t be happier. You will spend money. It’s worth it. They did go the extra mile for us, had a Happy Anniversary card waiting, brought out a desert for us with an edible chocolate piece that said “Happy Anniversary” - and it was fun. I cannot wait to go back.“

It was on the harder and bland side even with the seasoning and only came with a spicy mustard, with no option for cheese, which would have been a nice addition. Not worth the price. The atmosphere, however, was warm and inviting, with plenty of board games to enjoy - perfect for a relaxed outing.“

“We celebrated our August wedding anniversary at Coriander, and were delighted! We sat in the Greenhouse, the view was great, loved the decor. Our server was friendly and helpful, everyone was so kind. Loved the drinks Thad made, our meals, Rainbow Trout and Shrimp Boil were excellent. My guy enjoyed the peach cobbler for dessert, the cookies were delicious as well. As native Detroiters, we are thrilled with this venue, and will be back!“

“The SE MI Brewery Discovery Tour continues. (I'm done counting, it takes too much effort)
The building used to be a church. I personally love that repurposing. (Once saw a church knocked down to put in a Walmart! ) The layout works great: big U-shaped bar surrounded by 4-seat high-top tables. The all-important stainless steel vessels taking the place of the pulpit & choir. 6 big screens are spread around for the sports oriented. There is a room of the back of the main one with big leather-clad easy chairs & an actual fireplace. So cozy.
The free parking is in the back but you have to enter from the Biergarten which is entered from the corner. So, if you or a compadre are using a wheelchair, get dropped off at the corner.
The beer list is pretty broad, 2 pages, the food menu is of decent size.
Got a Lip Lock Cherry stout followed by a Peach Blonde. The stout was less sweet than expected (based on nothing) but nicely balanced. The peach version of the Dirty Blonde was tasty and refreshing.
Ate an Atwater Brat in-between. The brat was OK. The pretzel bun was good, the toppings (cheese, jalapeños, bacon bits) were good, too. The brat itself was the weak spot, tasted too much like a big hotdog.“

If you go enough, you will see a lot of the same regulars and quickly realize why everyone goes back. This place is fantastic! If you are ever in the Park looking for a drink this spot is a must!“

The menu was just updated and has some tasty new additions like the Detroit Brat with some updates to old favorites. The service we received from Laura and Zach was phenomenal. There’s a coffee roasting company next door that was actively roasting when we walked in and that with the smell of fermenting beer is the definition of chefs kiss. Settled on their Oktoberfest, it’s pleasantly well balanced with a clean finish. “I’m 49…this place was my first job when I was 18 and found out I was gonna be a father…and after all these years Markies in my opinion is the best pizza joint around…everything on the menu is top notch and it’s hard to decide what to order…I highly recommend the Raviolis..the Ribs…the sliders …the Bacon sticks…the Poppers…the wings…and the pizza.
