“Great sandwiches, fresh salad, sad GFS ranch. That’s the only negative, though. Everything was delivered fresh and on time through EZ Cater. I love that they use Boar’s Head meats and cheeses and their prices are very fair. If they upgrade their dressings, I’ll give them 5 stars! Very friendly, great for both small and large groups. Will order again.“
“Stopped by today for a quick sit down with a latte. I ordered a lavender oatmilk latte and a slice of pound cake warmed up. The latte was good, very flavorful and sweet. A bit foamy though. The pound cake was truthfully very bland, it was pretty dry and flavorless. The icing was even pretty hard to taste. The atmosphere is nice, plenty of greenery and unique nic-nacs. However, this cafe is advertised as a gallery as well. There were no paintings or photos or anything up which was disappointing. The service was great! The barista Kattia was super friendly and bubbly. She offered to warm up the pound cake, very sweet. I more than likely would only stop by again if I’m on this side of town specifically, but I probably wouldn’t make a trip for it.Parking: Parking right out front!“
“Upon arriving after a long bike ride, I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Emma, my server, went above and beyond to craft a delightful London Fog drink paired with lemon cake. The combination of flavors was simply divine. I cannot wait to return for another beverage and experience.“
“Oh my lord, all of the options looked scrumptious. We ordered a pistachio and chocolate croissant, Blackberry/Blueberry croissant, an Almond croissant, Smoked Salmon sandwich, Chicken sandwich and a loaf of Sourdough bread. Everything was excellent and very fresh. It's pricey but worth the splurge occasionally.“
“Cafe Amor has delicious coffee, sandwiches and traditional Mexican treats. The team is very kind and always provides excellent service! It’s a magical place where you can relax, view local art, attend events and even meet new friends!!100% recommend!“
“I really enjoy going into Season Market on regular basis in enjoying such a beautiful atmosphere with the most friendly welcoming service always. The variety of foods has kept me on track in eating healthier meals. I'm always meeting new friends and enjoying delicious coffee and soups during my visit. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ +Kid-friendliness: Simply the BEST!!!!“
“We ate at Basan Detroit on a Saturday evening (we were among the first to arrive at 4pm). Overall, we had a positive experience. The cocktails and food were creative, and intriguing to our taste buds. We highly recommend and will come back again to try other menu items. Below is additional details of our dining experience. Place: New and at a great location. It's next to the Little Caesars Arena. We were worried about parking because of the hockey games, but because we arrived early we were able to find an inexpensive metered street parking (otherwise park at the garage or use valet). The interior is spacious, modern and elegant. Chairs are comfortable and there's adequate lighting. Services: Excellent. Our server was friendly and the restaurant staff made sure our glasses of water are always refilled and empty dishes were quickly taken away. Cocktails: Although I am usually a whiskey or bourbon person, the cocktails are creative and full of flavor. Ube-B was an interesting mix of vodka, berry, and crispy taste of black sesame, but delicious. Food: Flavorful and fulfilling. We walked away feeling like we were in heaven. We enjoyed all of our choices and definitely will come back again. Quick Review of our Choices: Cocktails: Baba Baba Old Fashioned (whiskey) - great mix for an old fashioned, just how I would like to enjoy it. Night City (bourbon) - little stronger than old fashioned, but perfect. Ube-Be (vodka) - an interesting mix of vodka, berry, and crispy taste of black sesame, but delicious. Swimming Bird (shochu - Japanese liquor)- First time I had shochu. The mix reminds me of lime sprite. I would enjoy having it again. Buns: Lobster- I did not try it, but looks appetizing. Fried Oyster- creamy with kimchi heat. Love it. Chicken Kastu- delectable, especially with curry. My favorite. Small: Chicken Liver Mousse- milk bread was crispy, and the chicken liver mouse was delicious (a bit chilled, but yummy nonetheless). Our favorite, we would have it again. Tornado Potato- great spiral potato, kinda like crispy chips with sauce. Gyoza- savory lamb stuffed gyoza and sweet potato puree, delightful combo. Large: Udon - creamy dish of noodles with eggs, there's a heat aftertaste, mild but delicious. Kalbi Short Ribs- appetizing and flavorable. Dessert: Tofu Donuts- we were hesitating because we are not a fan of Tofu, but this dessert surprised us. Taste just like cinnamon sugar Donuts. Careful, allow it to cool down to enjoy it. Soft Serve- vanilla soft serve in ginger waffle, ginger candies, and marshmallow, an interesting combo, but delicious and sweet.“
“Had reservations on Opening Day (4/5) The place was packed and was seated in under 5:00 minutes from checking in. Had the homemade corned beef hash and potatoes, side of pancakes. There was so much corned beef it was absolutely fantastic! I am not a big pancake person but their panaceas were light and just delicious as well. Best pancake and corned beef hash I've ever had. Portions were big, I couldn't finish it all. My buddy had the berry berry stuffed French toast, he raved about it as well. Price was reasonable, service was quick, absolutely will head back again. It was clean, loved the design/layout and it was in a nice location within a 5 minute walk to Comerica.“
“I've been here probably a dozen times for coffee and snacks. Finally got a larger meal today. The bread (possibly sourdough) is amazing. Some of the best I've had In the city. And it was a generous chunk with my soup. Next time I'm getting a sandwich “
“What a find! Classic diner. Great food, reasonable prices and could not have had better service. Coffee cup never got 1/3 empty before it was refilled. All four of us loved our food and everything recommended by our wonderful waitress was absolutely delicious. Want a great breakfast with a great experience go to Yolk & Toast!“
“I Needed a midday pick me up while in the area and located this gem. I had a caramel macchiato which did the job. The coffee tasted fresh and of great quality. They have a variety of different coffees and choices, that I was initially overwhelmed. I will be back to try something new.“
“I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this not-so-hidden jewel, which is only minutes away from my home. My husband and I ditched our normal Saturday brunch to drop in on Detroit Sip. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Detroit Sip's vibe is like a warm, neighborly hug. The decor is whimsical and inviting. My caramel latte and cheese Danish were very goodMy husband also enjoyed his dark roast and muffin. We'll be back, in fact I tried to return the following Tuesday morning. Guess I should have paid attention to the hours listed.“
“The first callout I have to make is I absolutely LOVE the diversity of choices in this menu. They have so much more unique options than your standard coffee shop and all of them are so different. Their menu represents so many countries and regions, including Moroccan, Hong Kong, Brazilian, Spanish, Viennese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Sudanese, etc. This is a place that you can just keep coming back to and try completely different flavors and styles of coffee and tea with every visit and I really appreciate that. They also have small snack options, with my favorite being the Nutella taiayaki. This was a pleasant surprise for me since I'm generally not the biggest fan of classic red bean taiyaki. I ended up ordering the Brazilian style latte and my girlfriend got the London fog. We both loved our drinks and would definitely return to try others. As for the space, it's certainly not what I expected but I really liked the concept. Meillie Coffee is just one of a few vendors who all share a really large space (with TONS of seating). They also have sandwiches and ice cream available at the other vendors, so you can probably come here in the morning and end up spending enough time working until you want lunch from the other vendor as well.“
“Fantastic coffee at no nonsense prices!! They looked and tasted like we were at a sidewalk cafe in Italy!! The sandwich was big enough for hubby and I to share so that we were each able to get a small treat!!! a perfect lunch!! Very quaint and friendly atmosphere!!“
“First time coming here and I was so pleased with how many activities they have for toddlers other than the jungle gym area, there’s so much to do. You can spend hours here. The staff are super friendly , the place is very clean. Also we ordered lunch from next door and it was fantastic . This will definitely be our new to go place.“
“We had our sober social and karaoke night at The Congregation. They were amazing. They had everything we needed and helped to make sure we were all set for our event. The mocktails were a huge hit and the coffee is the greatest. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Never disappointed when visiting my favorite tearoom, The Fern. The owner, Theresa, is a kind, caring host who takes her time to match guests to the perfect tea. Whether you’re looking for hot or cold tea, The Fern has one that’s bound to make your tastebuds dance! Additionally, the place is cozy and relaxing, which makes it the perfect place to read a book, complete a puzzle, or chat with a friend.“
“Really great coffee and bagel was yum. The egg on the bagel and chive cream cheese were also delicious.I’m a little confused about the shopping sections in the corner of the restaurant but I guess that’s cool that they’re supporting local business. It just threw me off and it would’ve been nice if there were more tables… I had to sit outside. Luckily it was a nice enough day.“
“Literally enjoyed my time here to study, the place is so chill. Service is great and the coffee is too! Desserts are yummy, my fav is the Caramel Milk Cake, I got it as a carry out and It didn't make it past the table ?I would like them to add just 1 or 2 warm savory items to the menu and bamn, they'll have to evict me! ?? Try this place if you want more comfort while studying, I'm sure you'll love it! ☺️“
“All I can say is WOW!! What an absolute gem in downtown Royal Oak. The service was exceptional and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Amber, who is an absolute sweetheart. The cinnamon bun smoothie, and the soup that I ordered were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be a repeating customer after this amazing first visit.“
“D-Spot Desserts Windsor is an absolute gem for anyone with a sweet tooth! From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a world of delightful desserts that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. The ambiance is vibrant and welcoming, with bright colors that instantly uplift your mood. The spacious layout ensures that even during busy times, you can find a comfortable spot to enjoy your treats, whether you're flying solo or with a large group of friends. Now, let's talk about the menu – it's extensive, to say the least! With so many tempting options to choose from, it's almost impossible to decide what to order. But fear not, because whatever you end up choosing is guaranteed to be a delight for your taste buds. The service, while good, could be a tad more attentive. However, once we asked for additional menus and assistance, the staff was more than accommodating and helpful. Special shoutout to the lovely lady who served us, she made our experience even more enjoyable with her warm and friendly demeanor. As for the desserts themselves, they are nothing short of spectacular. Whether you opt for the classic favorites like hot fudge sundaes and New York-style cheesecake, or venture into more adventurous territory with options like lotus cookie funnel cake, you're in for a treat. And let's not forget about the portions – they're generous enough to share with a friend, but so delicious you might not want to!I recently had the pleasure of trying their classic funnel cake and waffles, and let me tell you, they were absolute perfection. The funnel cake was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar. And the waffles? Light, fluffy, and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream – it was like a brunch dream come true.In conclusion, if you're looking for a dessert spot that ticks all the boxes – delicious treats, vibrant ambiance, and friendly service – look no further than D-Spot Desserts Windsor. It's a five-star experience from start to finish, and I can't wait to go back for more sweet indulgence!“
“Detroit Blues Cafe is not just a bar- it's an experience! The best lounge in Detroit. Grown folk Thursday's is my night, have to get there early if you want a seat.To walk into a bar and get instantly greeted with a smile and a cocktail that breathes sophistication is a moment that should be savored.I highly recommend this business. The vibe, the atmosphere, the amazing music, excellent food, the ballroom dancing, and the well-dressed men are some of the highlights. The service is at an exceptional level of professionalism from the wait staff, and cooks, to the security team, consistently. The manager, Amber, is my no-nonsense girl, I just love her!The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable. It's always a treat!“
“Five15 is the best drag bar/restaurant in metro Detroit. Ask for Cookie or Brian to be your server, they are exceptional. If you are a fan of the TV show RuPaul's Drag Race, this is the place to go in metro Detroit. They book many of the drag queen contestants to perform in their Brunch shows.Parking: Parking in Royal Oak is free on Sundays and holidays. On all other days you have to pay from 11am-midnight. I'd recommend the Parking garages, as they let you park for the first two hours for free before having to pay.“
“I had been going to Birmingham Roast for years before Royal Oak Roast opened, and it is just as amazing as the original. Drinks are incredible (though the “Joy” drinks are pretty sweet, I always order half sweet), the breakfast burrito is a must try, as is the açaí bowl. They constantly have new “seasonal” menu items which is great for regulars to get something new to try. This will forever be my favorite coffee shop in the metro Detroit area!!“
“This is the place to go for some amazing gelato, bread, and an authentic, neighborly atmosphere. Hands down! Employees are fantastic, gelato flavors are amazing, and even the patrons will give you a nod, smile, and the friendly comment about the espresso - or the football game that day.“
“This will sound fake but it’s not I promise it was just that good, The food was amazing, we were a whole group of 7 and everyone’s meal was amazing, the vibe was beautiful and they’re fries and sandwiches were honestly fresh. Their coffee was good too, we were surprised no one else was there“
“The food is absolutely worth it. I'm obsessed with their Patricia melt and every ?vegan?treat?is to weep for? Chefs kiss! The atmosphere is PERFECT if you enjoy hearing strangers conversations (which I do) and dimly lit places (which I absolutely do I'm hideous).Great joint!Vegetarian options: They got veggies don't you worry :3Dietary restrictions: It's pretty much a health hub, whatever restrictions you have they'll likely be able to accommodate.“
“So this rating is for the desserts only. My Wife and I were at the DIA not that long ago and stopped at Kresge Court for a quick snack. The crème brûlée was phenomenal. As were the donut bites. It's a fun place to stop and rest for a bit while you're exploring the DIA“
“Rose latte and tomato basil soup are *cgef’s kiss* delicious. I recently visited three days in a row because of how yummy the food. It is a tiny restaurant and the prices are in the more expensive side (20% tip is factored in to the prices). There is a good amount of street “
“Rating is based on the food. The food is pretty good. Sometimes the potatoes are undercooked. I do miss the old owner and old building... the new decor/paint/flooring is so bland. It was adorable before, now it looks like a caucasian mom's "live laugh love" decorated kitchen. The prices have definitely gone up over the years, but that's inflation. Overall, it's a nice spot to bring family and friends, but I really cannot see the vision with the decor and grey color scheme. It's really disappointing!“
“Chocolate zucchini bread was amazing. Kale Caesar was great for lunch! Also had the breakfast sandwich which was very tasty and the coffee was great as well. Lots of pastry options like cookies and kouign Amann. Different coffees as well. Service was 10/10!“

“Loved everything about this tearoom. I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy high tea in the English countryside and at tearooms as storied as the Empress in Victoria, and this was as lovely an experience as I’ve had anywhere. The pride of ownership is abundantly clear, and the service was stellar. Down to the individual place settings, every detail of tea was well attended to. The food was delicious and the portions easily four times that of other tearooms I’ve been to… and the quality did not suffer as a result of quantity.I’ll certainly recommend this place to others and plan to return the next time I’m in the Detroit area. Thank you for a wonderful time!“
“Purchased a mango cake for a friend's birthday event. Place came highly recommended from a neighbor. I never would have known about this business without the recommendation. Everyone enjoyed the cake - not too sweet, plenty of fruit $40 cash only. Not the cleanest place in the world- but not too bad“
“I visited this shop today. I purchased cheesecakes, cupcakes and banana bread (all keto). I’d like to start by saying that their customer service is EXCELLENT. The quality and taste of the items I’ve purchased is amazing. I’m definitely going back and recommending this shop to everyone! I had a great experience.“
“Milwaukee Caffe makes me feel like I'm visiting a European, standing-only, grab-and-go coffee shop if traditional espresso-loving European coffee shops were hip and queer in the absolute best way. I come here to romanticize my life and walk away caffeinated enough to do some damage.“
“My cousin is a regular here and this was my first time here. This is a fantastic little shop. Their menu is extensive but filled with great things. They also operate as a snack and liquor shop with specialty items. The food I had was well made and the service is friendly. You can really see that the locals love this place and come here often. It's a place that is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.“
“Friendly staff and one of the few coffee places near the Henry Ford main campus. Prefer a simple cup of black coffee when the coffee is quality. Usually request extra coffee when doing a pour over. Usually I avoid the specialty flavored coffees: cherry, vanilla, or hazelnut. I can do a light or dark roast. Flavored coffee is not my cup of tea, as the mixed analogy goes.“
“Great people, staff, and overall experience. Food is great and consistent. Coffee is great. Queer atmosphere that keeps me coming back.Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendlyParking: There is parking behind the buildingWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and parking, although space is small and limited.“
“Was feeling the need for coneys again so, Google to the rescue and off to Warren Family.A soft-spoken young woman was busy taking both to-go orders and dealing with dine-in customers as well as running the register. She did an great job and remained upbeat & professional throughout. The place is clean, bright, open and quiet. Tile floors and marble table tops don't often help with that. And the radio was at a perfect volume, audible but not intrusive.Their menu isn't as extensive as some but has quite a lot to offer. Tuesdays coneys are just $0.99 each.I got two coneys, as usual. The dog has a good chew to it, the onions have a kick and the buns are warm and soft. For a coney that is all I need.I was in & out in under 30 minutes and will happily return.Kid-friendliness: They'll be fine.Wheelchair accessibility: Oodles of room, both at the tables and the booths.“
“Le Crepe is always amazing! The staff are attentive and the crepes are fresh every time. They’re stuffed with tasty goodness and will have you wanting more; I haven’t ever had a crepe that I didn’t like from here. It’s far from where I live, but it’s worth the drive to support a small business!“
“I just went inside the business for coffee. The service was great. The employee was engaging and the decor is niceWheelchair accessibility: Door entrance and common areas are spacious enough for mobility devices and have accessible bathrooms“
“I ordered my gender reveal cake from here. They did an amazing job. I needed it to taste and look great and they did not disappoint. It was 100% vegan and everyone loved it! Thank God I cut myself the 1st slice because there was nothing left to take home all of the vegans and non vegans said it was delicious and kept asking where I got it. I called just a few days before my event and they still made it happen. I will be getting all of my future cakes, cupcakes and dessert from them. Oh and they also had the best price out of all of the vegan bakeries I called to inquire about a gender reveal cake without a 3week to a month wait time.“
“Found a delicious vanilla latte; plus the dirty chai was super strong and had a unique spiced flavor. The chocolate chip cookie was excellent, soft but with crispy edges, just like I like it, and the yummy chocolate bites mmm so sweet. The eggy breakfast sandwich was perfect on a fluffy savory biscuit. It had an interesting cream cheese spread mixed in making the eggs nice and creamy and the pickle slices made for a nice surprise. I do wish we got a bit more of the side salad because I enjoy my greens! The neighborhood doesn't seem like the safest, but it was still great to stop by this chill spot by chance during our visit to Detroit!“
“Love this place! Great food with lots of flavour! Nice people working and just a totally welcoming environment! Love the music and they are always playing local music often! As a student the good quality/healthy food that meets many of mine and my friends different dietary needs!Whenever I order anything I don't like they offer to make me a new one! Wayyyyy nicer than any other place near my campus!I can't express how much I love this café! As a small townie moving to this city it's like a slice of home! Not only that but they are dog friendly and have lots of quirky little elements to breath good vibes into the place!“
“Love seeing a Caribou back in our neighborhood. The coffee is and will always be the best I've ever tasted from a corporate chain. The service at this location is fantastic, all the baristas are super helpful and super friendly, and every drink I've had has been super tasty. Definitely recommend!!Dietary restrictions: Got all the milks available!“
“I regularly visit this cafe for my morning coffee and have always had a great experience with my drinks, friendly workers and the other regulars. This morning there was a rude customer that woke up and chose to be hateful (Islamophobic) towards me and my friends while we were waiting in line to order. Thank you to the worker that refused to give service to the entitled customer and being patient while they threw a tantrum and also to the lovely customer that stood up for us.I'm from Windsor and already know that one person's actionsdoes not represent the majority here and I'm thankful that despite everything happening nowadays, there are still kind people around. To the customer that was spewing hate, I think a walk by the riverside might help you vent your anger towards the world or therapy :)Will definitely continue coming here.“
“Tuesdays are $1.50 coney island hotdogs. I ordered but the toppings of chilli mustard diced onion was REALLY what I paid for. Today I spoke to one of the delightful (and Gorgeous!) waitresses and told her I hoped to have EXTRA not OVER the top onions and mustard and what I got were THE BEST CONEYS!!! I paid a small UPCHARGE but boy was it worth every penny! Way to go Antonio's Coney Island STILL with the best Coney AROUND“
“The MOCAD Café is a relaxing and very chill café located directly inside the Museum of Contemporary Art. As expected, the space is designed thoughtfully and exudes relaxation. It has an urban-industrial feel with a touch of modernism. The big garage windows allow for plenty of natural light - when it's warm, they're open to allow a nice breeze. There are many tables with chairs, creating a perfect atmosphere for small group gatherings or a quiet work sesh'.Not only do they sell coffee, tea, and baked goods sourced locally, but there's also a fully stocked bar with a rotating seasonal menu. Many of the cocktails are bright and refreshing, having been curated by the bartenders. Pricing is fair, as well. The staff are always friendly and kind, and the service has been nothing short of splendid. You don't need to visit the museum to visit the café, as it's located directly to the right of you as you enter the museum. Stop in for a drink or treat, and enjoy the museum if you have time.“
“I tried Dairy Fairies Cafe on Wednesday and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The strawberry shortcakes pancakes and nutella strawberry banana crepe was amazing along with the strawberry lemonade refresher! The owners take such great pride in their business and the food they serve their customers! I will definitely be going back!Kid-friendliness: Children will love this cafe as it is beautifully decorated with a fun backdrop!“
