“I’ve been going to Cannelle for the past five years, and they have never disappointed me. Their cakes are always beautifully designed, delicious, and a guaranteed hit whenever I bring one to a gathering.
Yesterday, there was a mix-up with my cake pickup, and I arrived at the Birmingham location shortly after closing to find the branch closed. What impressed me most was how the Cannelle team handled the situation. They diligently worked to locate the cake, opened the branch after hours, and personally delivered it to my event in West Bloomfield.
The cake arrived beautifully and was enjoyed by everyone. Mistakes can happen, but Cannelle truly went above and beyond to make things right. Their customer service was exceptional, and I’m very grateful for the care and effort they showed. I’ll happily continue recommending Cannelle to others.

“I have a new favorite cafe! Today was my first visit to Moondog Cafe on Linwood in Detroit. I loved everything about it - the ambiance, the people, the food, the decor. The staff I met seemed like very friendly, inviting, and interesting people. I had a black cherry soda with cane sugar that hit the spot and a savory curry pastry that was absolutely incredible. I definitely plan to be back; I especially want to come back some time when a show or musical event is scheduled, as the stage and set-up looked like it will be ideal for intimate musical performances.“

They do boba and Ramen as well but there steamed chines sausage buns with egg are where it at!!! Tend to get 2 to 3 ever time I go there. Their food is extremely fresh, and I am amazed at the wide selection of choices they offer in their bright, and very clean cafe. Try their soups, usually 3 or 4 choices that change each day. I like to get their lamb shawermas too, and really, their mediterrabean offerings are tasty! They also do a bunch of yummy sandwiches made right on the spot to order. I tend to try their daily specials, as those are usually being prepared and cooked freshly just moments before lunchtime. You might find a mac n cheese one day, a lasagne the next. Today I'm enjoying their spiced chicken. You can clearly see all of the ingredients offered, and if you arrive early in the day, they do a breakfast selection to keep you going. As their clean, bright, cozy space is take-out only, the outdoor deck is only 20 feet away, a nice place to eat on non-Winter days. There is a padded bench just inside nearby in a pinch. They're a family business, so please do come and satisfy your hunger.“
