“Whenever I'm in Hamtramck I stop here for a veggie sub and they are one of the quicker subways as in on a lunch break it seems they under stand and move with an urgency. The sub will never be thrown together sloppy and it seems they don't try to skimp, meaning they stack my sib with plenty of veggies.

“I have been coming to this Blimpie location for almost 15 years. It was my main place to eat on campus when I went to WSU, and I continue to eat here years later even after finishing my schooling. Not only because of the great halal subs, but because of the atmosphere and welcoming personality and hospitality of the owner and his son. “Mike’s Famous Ham Place made the New York Times list of “The 26 Best Dishes We Ate Across the U.S. in 2024”. Definitely deserving of all the attention!! I luv ham, but usually it’s too salty for my taste and for my kidneys. But we had breakfast there today and the ham was absolutely perfect!! Super tasty, not salty, huge portions! - hand-carved from a whole ham right in front of you. Perfect eggs and good coffee, too. It’s a small place, as in like very small – just a row of swivel chairs set against your typical vintage (but clean and well-maintained) diner counter. Friendly folks behind the counter and friendly customers, too! Check it out sometime. And btw they sell ham bones for soup: $5 a bag! PS they only take cash. I'm definitely going back.“

My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

“Best sub place around! I'm sensitive to both gluten and dairy, but I would not consider myself highly sensitive since I don't have issues with cross contamination. That being said I have never had a problem after eating at this Tubby's. They have gluten free sub buns! Only sub shop I know that has them. And their website has an allergen chart so it's easy to figure out what you can and can't eat. At this location they always clean the grill and change gloves since they know I'm sensitive to dairy and gluten. The food is always good and it takes a little longer than fast food but is worth the couple extra minutes. Highly recommend eating here.“

“Order from 3/21/25. Ordered grilled lrg famous jumbo & seasoned fries. The subs were absolutely perfectly made!! Meat wasn't burnt or charred. Bread was fresh. Perfect amount of tubby dressing. “SUBWAY- who would have thought I'd have good things to say about SUBWAY! SUBWAY has undergone a makeover... their menu has changed. I think less selections with my quantity per serving... without paying for extra meat... in fact they now put meat and cheese on the subs that you can actually see! lol. I ordered a roasted chicken sub with cheese, and ALL the veggies (almost). I am so glad I ordered the 12" because I was able to eat it for 2 days. It's a new day at this SUBWAY.

“A retro sandwich shop that serves amazing sandwiches. I remember going there as a child with my dad, so I revisited the place with my son. The Reuben sandwich was tender juicy flavorful and grilled nicely just as I remembered. My son had the make a meal sandwich with roast beef which is pictured.
