“Detroit is not exactly a hot bed of Late Night food spots (besides Coneys) so I was very happy to find Albasha. I stay up late and it’s been a reliable option when you don’t feel like chili fries for the 100th time.

Their Chicken Shwarma is really good and they customize it for you. I love a lot of garlic and super toasted, and that always gets done. I also get their Fatoosh Salad when I want something a little lighter and it’s really good, especially the chicken quality.

The area around the shop is quite safe, and when you walk in everyone in the shop is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. At 1 AM, I’m not really in the mood to have to earn the respect of the counter person, and you’ll never have any issues here.

“TAYLOR location. Tried for first time yesterday. Food was good, cashier super friendly. However, cleanliness is an issue here. Floors very sticky. Tabletops dirty/sticky. Trash can has smell. You know what they say about first impressions... I'll try again soon and see if it was a fluke.“

“Whenever I'm in Hamtramck I stop here for a veggie sub and they are one of the quicker subways as in on a lunch break it seems they under stand and move with an urgency. The sub will never be thrown together sloppy and it seems they don't try to skimp, meaning they stack my sib with plenty of veggies.

“just tried for the first time after multiple coworkers told me I had to get it. I ordered a BYO bowl with falafel and it was delicious! The bowls are huge and definitely enough to either spilt with someone or save for leftovers. I ordered online and picked it up at the front cou ter easily. Workers were super kind and helpful.“

“Mike’s Famous Ham Place made the New York Times list of “The 26 Best Dishes We Ate Across the U.S. in 2024”. Definitely deserving of all the attention!! I luv ham, but usually it’s too salty for my taste and for my kidneys. But we had breakfast there today and the ham was absolutely perfect!! Super tasty, not salty, huge portions! - hand-carved from a whole ham right in front of you. Perfect eggs and good coffee, too. It’s a small place, as in like very small – just a row of swivel chairs set against your typical vintage (but clean and well-maintained) diner counter. Friendly folks behind the counter and friendly customers, too! Check it out sometime. And btw they sell ham bones for soup: $5 a bag! PS they only take cash. I'm definitely going back.“

There were a couple "special dietary requests " with the wraps & I needed to change the date. Everything was delivered absolutely PURRFECT! “My husband and I recently went to firehouse subs..our first visit. First of all Alex a very pleasant young man made our experience so much better..he explained everything to us. He gave some great recommendations. I must say he is probably the best employee I have encountered in a fast food chain. He should be promoted. If he's not a manager he should be. When he had a free moment at the till we saw him cleaning the glass on the entrance door... The subs were fantastic and the cleanest sub restaurant we have ever been in..give this employee a well deserved raise“

“I took my family here so they could enjoy the pool and water park for a day the price was decent and the staff was friendly but unfortunately the equipment was not well maintained several of the structures were broken when we visited and had caution tape around them to stop children from playing hopefully this will be updated soon as it does seem like a wonderful place for the community“

The one girl finally motioned so I knew it was drive thru. There needs to be a sign on the door that says drive thru ONLY.“

“SUBWAY- who would have thought I'd have good things to say about SUBWAY! SUBWAY has undergone a makeover... their menu has changed. I think less selections with my quantity per serving... without paying for extra meat... in fact they now put meat and cheese on the subs that you can actually see! lol. I ordered a roasted chicken sub with cheese, and ALL the veggies (almost). I am so glad I ordered the 12" because I was able to eat it for 2 days. It's a new day at this SUBWAY.
