“It's located inside the BP gas station which was previously redone and looks awesome inside and out. Staff was very friendly and made a great sandwich, they loaded up on the toppings and will definitely be back soon for another sub. No where to sit inside so take out only. Not a ton of parking since it is a gas station.“

“This quaint little diner brings me back to the 80’s and 90’s every time I go there. The staff is attentive and pleasant, and the food is always satisfying. I love to get the Eggs Benedict with ham and home fries. Chef’s kiss, it’s amazing!!! The only drawback is that they only accept cash, which isn’t a deal breaker as long as you plan ahead. And it can get very busy, but it’s totally worth it.“

“Detroit is not exactly a hot bed of Late Night food spots (besides Coneys) so I was very happy to find Albasha. I stay up late and it’s been a reliable option when you don’t feel like chili fries for the 100th time.

Their Chicken Shwarma is really good and they customize it for you. I love a lot of garlic and super toasted, and that always gets done. I also get their Fatoosh Salad when I want something a little lighter and it’s really good, especially the chicken quality.

The area around the shop is quite safe, and when you walk in everyone in the shop is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. At 1 AM, I’m not really in the mood to have to earn the respect of the counter person, and you’ll never have any issues here.

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

The one girl finally motioned so I knew it was drive thru. There needs to be a sign on the door that says drive thru ONLY.“

I have my twins in the backseat I was gonna share half my sandwich with them not only did the woman who helped us cut an individual piece for them, but she also made sure I got a piece of some cookie and even gave them their own cups of water. You guys have one person always working. What happens if they can not use the restroom?? What happens if someone comes in and threatens the employee? Where is the manager? Why can the manager not staff this location properly? That is their job. Why is the manager not working and covering shifts? I am very disappointed in whoever manages this location. The employee working does a wonderful job and deserves the help to be fully staffed and a functional location.“

“Grilled Tubby's Famous sub is amazing! Everything's getting too expensive, but the prices here are a little high for what you get. However, I see they are stuffing a coupon in every sub going out the door now, so you can get at least a dollar off your next big sub.“

“The sub I got was veggie patty. Decent. The artist mixed up the bread and toppings but I understand with BOGO rush that can happen.

I miss the free cookie this spot use to give out though when you order late around closing (I usually did that because of late work hours), they would put extra cookies. Wish they can still do it.
