“Food is delicious, takeout orders frequently wrong. This is the best food in Kalamazoo, but they’ve gotten my takeout order wrong five times in just 2025. This is nothing new for this place as I’ve been coming since 2013 and I’ve had so many mix ups. The workers are polite and friendly, and everything is always delicious. Would recommend you eat in person.“

“This is our go to bakery for birthday cakes and Amy made our wedding cake!
I was hoping they would make both our son's Wedding cakes too, if our sons wanted. I suggested they come try samples, but now costs for each sample when used to be free so to try all options-spending a lot of money just to try. They answer the phone so that is a plus, however some of staff do not know answers and don't come to register promptly when at counter.“

Tables and booths. Quiet and good for conversations. Nice windows allow good lighting. Good spacing between Tables.

I enjoyed a half sandwich and cup of soup for $10.99. Good value. The chilli was tasty and not too spicey. Nice mix of beans and beef came with a small amount of shredded cheese and a packet of crackers. Then my half of a Reuben sandwich arrived. Nice amount of beef and sauerkraut on delicious rye bread. Also came with a bag of chips.
Started with a flavourful mug of coffee which was warmed up often.

Nice selection of pies. I had a large slice of lemon meringue pie. Just super.

“My wife and I had dinner with our dear friends at Saffron this evening. Everything was so amazing - service, food, atmosphere, and community! “Delivery is fast and the drivers are friendly, however the pizzas have been low standard lately. Not as much toppings on the pizza as there used to be. The crust is thinner than it used to be. Cottage in pizza has gone from a 10 to a 3. Sad to say.“
