“I have a new favorite cafe! Today was my first visit to Moondog Cafe on Linwood in Detroit. I loved everything about it - the ambiance, the people, the food, the decor. The staff I met seemed like very friendly, inviting, and interesting people. I had a black cherry soda with cane sugar that hit the spot and a savory curry pastry that was absolutely incredible. I definitely plan to be back; I especially want to come back some time when a show or musical event is scheduled, as the stage and set-up looked like it will be ideal for intimate musical performances.“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “This is my go to loacal bakery from savory to sweet they have it all they make bread fresh all day long and at some of the best prices as well. There prices are amazing as well. They do boba and Ramen as well but there steamed chines sausage buns with egg are where it at!!! Tend to get 2 to 3 ever time I go there. “I can't recommend the Sunrise Cafe enough. Stopped in on a whim for breakfast while on a family adventure and everyone left happy and full. 1.) Best Chocolate Chip Pancakes I've ever had. Super chocolatey and they even threw some on top of the pancakes as well to really up the chocolate factor. Delicious.

2.)The bason was outstanding...like outstanding. It was crispy, it was tender, it was flavorful, it had a smokiness that I don't believe I've ever experienced from bacon before. Phenomenal.

3.) The Hash Browns were BROWN! There's nothing that ruins a breakfast faster than soggy nasty hash browns and I'm happy to report these were delicious, crispy, and golden brown.

I had a take-away order via DoorDash so I can't comment on the atmosphere but if their food is any indication, the place is probably wonderful.

“I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. “We had an excellent experience eating brunch at First Watch! Our server was Bree and she was extremely nice, kind, and attentive. The breakfast tacos were incredible (substituted potatoes instead of barbacoa) and the chocolate chip pancakes were balanced and not too sweet.

1) Amazing food; have not had a bad dish yet. Steak and eggs and short rib Mac n cheese are two highlights.

2) horribly inept service. It’s been like this for years across different groups of waitstaff. So, it’s a management/ownership issue.
