“I finally got the chance to try Tall Trees thanks to their newer extended hours! I was greeted by Tori who was super kind and helpful - they even had great recommendations for me and were able to answer all the questions I had about the menu. As someone who is plant based I loved that there were options for me! I tried the Later Tater which was scrumptious and flavorful with every bite! I also had to try all of the sides including the Red Pepper Cashew Pasta Salad (loved it with the olive tapenade on top - nice touch), Gigante Beans (herby dill deliciousness) and the star of the show was truly the BBQ Potato Salad! I’m hoping in the future there are even more options for sandwiches on the menu for plant based eaters!“

“Went on a sat mid day. We're from Ohio and wanted some baked cookies and saw a tiktok and gave them a try. Service we great felt like home there. Cookies were delicious! “If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “I have a new favorite cafe! Today was my first visit to Moondog Cafe on Linwood in Detroit. I loved everything about it - the ambiance, the people, the food, the decor. The staff I met seemed like very friendly, inviting, and interesting people. I had a black cherry soda with cane sugar that hit the spot and a savory curry pastry that was absolutely incredible. I definitely plan to be back; I especially want to come back some time when a show or musical event is scheduled, as the stage and set-up looked like it will be ideal for intimate musical performances.“

“We absolutely love Cannelle. The quality of the food here is unmatched, and it’s honestly the closest thing I’ve found to some of my favorite bakeries over in Europe.

My husband and I come here often and I’ve never had anything I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. The sandwiches are great, the bread, the pastries, everything.

I highly recommend any of fruit pastries shaped like the actual fruit they’re flavored.

The only thing to note is that the cafe itself is very very small, and seating is limited. This is a popular location so sometimes it can be really crowded inside. Additionally, keep in mind theres not a lot of parking available.“

“So we decided to take a different way home after spending the weekend in Detroit and went through West Bloomfield since I-75 has so much construction going on now….and we just happened to see Sunny’s and decided to stop in. WOW are we ever glad we did!! What a fantastic brunch!! The Belgian waffle with fresh fruit and whipped cream was incredible….and the meat lovers omelette was stellar too!! A little pricey, but worth every penny. Friendly staff too! This was our first time here and my wife and I already discussing when we can drive into West Bloomfield again (about 30 miles away) so we can enjoy a breakfast or brunch there again!!“

There are reviews that mark down the cakes because they taste 'eggy' which is weird to do because egg is the primary ingredient in these cakes. There's absolutely no cheese so please adjust your expectations if you go there. I hate to see a business suffer because people don't understand what they're supposed to expect“

“Had not been here for a salad in a long time. Their Chef Salad was just as good or better than I remembered. Lots of fresh tasty vegetables, meats cheese. Freshly baked Pita Bread and Salad Dressing was just right! Waitress was wonderful! Very helpful. Happy with the price and prompt service. Highly recommend!! “Delicious, healthy prepared food. Homemade soups daily. The tomatoes in the garden salad tasted live they came straight from the farm. The salad dressings are homemade. Cozy atmosphere great for lunch with friends or dining alone.

Parking: In the Michigan Design building. Easy to find. Park anywhere on premises. I took the shuttle from the nearby car dealerships while waiting for service.“

“This is a family owned resturant in Highland Park. The food is fresh and made to order. The service is welcoming and feeling your being serviced by a member of your family. There is no indoor seating but when the weather is nice the small outdoor seating space is very nice. Highly Recommend. 😀“

“This is my go to loacal bakery from savory to sweet they have it all they make bread fresh all day long and at some of the best prices as well. There prices are amazing as well. They do boba and Ramen as well but there steamed chines sausage buns with egg are where it at!!! Tend to get 2 to 3 ever time I go there. This is a smaller place as well be prepared to get your food or sweet and take it home or over to suprise a friend or family“

My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. There are lots of food options as well. I like that you can order online, but you'll need to approach the counter for online orders. They don't call them out like all the rest of the orders.“
