“I have to say, I was blown away! Sorella's is fabulous. I wanted a cake for my grandson's 21st birthday. I told them what I was looking for and they could choose the colors except for red & black. I also asked for 3 more names to be added on the top right, because we were celebrating 4 total May birthdays. They made the most delicious cake I've ever had. It was decorated so beautifully I could hardly wait for everyone to see it.

Maybe if you're there to have a beer or a cocktail and an appetizer. We will definitely visit again.”

I was thrilled to find marinated pork belly as the pork in my noodles (pork and vegetable option). This was a "need a towel, not a napkin" kind of meal - messy and great! My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.”

“OMG 😆 My friend and I were visiting from Florida and I wanted to try a Chicago style deep dish pizza and I went to Zeno‘s and it was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had in my life her and I were both mind blown at the pizza we both thought it was amazing the presentation the way it looked was just amazing just we’ve never seen nothing like it the sauce phenomenal the taste was great the pizza was just perfect and they also included a pasta in their homemade ranch which was great and the pasta was also just amazing phenomenal pasta I should’ve got the name of it but it was something special pasta they make which was also great I would like to think Zino’s for a wonderful experience again this was the girl from Florida who was up there and just happened on in and it was just the most amazing experience to the point where I definitely would love to come back thank you I recommend Zino’s any day”

Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!”

Grabbed a deep dish slice with pepperoni & I'm sitting in my car eating it & it's SO DELICIOUS I have to tell you about it. The pepperoni is real pepperoni- thick sliced & full of flavor. Sauce is fresh! (I'm a sauce girl) , crust bottom is perfectly crisp & honestly it's some of the best pizza I've ever had! Bravo!”

“I have wonderful memories of the Maurice Salad at Hudson's and yours was one of the best I have ever had! I also loved the warm pita bread that came with it. Delicious! I brought two of my lady friends with me and they also had the Maurice and felt the same way I did. We will spread the news and also be back! The salad had a nice amount of meat and cheeses and of course pickles. The dressing was outstanding and there was enough to bring almost half of it home for my lunch the next day! “I come there often. My food is generally good, but never hot, especially the soup. Most of the waitresses are very nice and good at their jobs, but some are not good at follow up. Asking if everything is ok, do you need anything, more beverage, etc. And you are about the only restaurant in Livonia that doesn't offer any of the 0 pops. Even the smaller restaurants that can't afford the cost from the companies to add it, have cans of 0 Pepsi, or 0 Coke or 0 A&W root beer. They are so much better than diet pops. Please consider it. “Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.”

“Food here was good and fresh, they weren’t out of much like usual, it was pretty busy and no one was working the line so the grill cook had to take over . He was quick and efficient with the portion sizes not only that but he also had a great attitude consistent smile and didn’t make me feel rushed .

I asked his name if i remember right it was Jeremiah. After he cleared the line he got right back to grilling i felt bad for him but 10/10 service. The main problem i have noticed with this location is management i notice that managers where collared shirts and its too bad that Jeremiah didn’t have one i worked in a kitchen so i know its stressful but this worker handled everything really well!!”

“Everything was awesome, the woman working behind the counter was super friendly and quick with everything despite being the only (i think) employee in at the time. Food was great too, super big juicy wings with lots of sauce.”

“Stopped in around lunch time and really good experience. Food was great, beer was very cold and priced fair. Service was excellent & friendly, and very clean inside with TVs for sports. If they ran a few lunch deals I'd likely be able to come in more often. Will be back!”

This place is a hidden gem of amazing food and brew. I just wish the prices were a bit lower, but it's definitely worth the money.”

“I think this place has some great chicken and some awsome shakes I really I would suggest it to anyone. But they are losing a star from me. I was told from the guy running the drive thru that they were out of shakes and that blew my mind. So, I went ahead and ordered some online through delivery once I got back to work. Low and behold a delivery driver showed up with the shakes!! Either they were lazy or they really were out of ingredients and ran and grabbed some as of now im geussing its the former. Other than that they have some great food!”
