“Went here on a Sunday morning without a reservation. They were able to accommodate my party of 3 at the first come first serve bar seating they offer. I ordered chicken and waffles with a side of bacon. After my first bite I knew that the food was worth every penny. I will return.“
“I absolutely love the Tall Ship Manitou. We have been multiple times over the last few years from the sunset tours, music nights on deck and even taking an overnight trip. Every time has been beautiful and wonderful! The attention to detail that the staff shows is exceptional. Really infinite of the best tall ship experiences in the U.S. highly recommend!“

“Best Mac and cheese I've had in my entire life. The staff is good and it takes a minute to get the food but it's also worth it. Absolutely delicious and the cider flights are a great way to pick and choose to find something you love.“

“Excellent service. Burgers are very good. Burger patties are super thick. I had the blu cheese burger and the only complaint I have is the plate seemed crowded and the sweet potato tots were burnt. Not something I would tank a review for just tossing it out there. Also, i still ate everything lol. It was good. Nice lite atmosphere, typical trendy bar scene. Great food, party of three with drinks, 86 bucks. Not too bad. I'd come back“

“What a wonderful brunch experience! The waitress was excellent. We had a 4 year old with us. She suggested we order for him while she was getting our drinks. So smart. He had pancakes and some of the best bacon in TC. We had brunch drinks (Kentucky Bourbon Coffee-yum! Irish Coffee-yum! And a morning mimosa buck-yum!). Breakfast was huge and delicious. We had the stuffed tomato filled with goat cheese and pancetta topped with eggs. Plus a basil sauce. So good. Came with fried potatoes. Too big to eat in one setting. We also had their omelet which was filled with lots of good stuff. Lastly their chicken Benedict. Everything was excellent. Cool vibe. Great service. Absolutely will come again.Kid-friendliness: Great waitress. She made sure our 4 year old was well taken care of.“

“Our experience with Archie's was top notch! Immediately greeted by the owner, Jon who quickly seated us. He made us aware that a new waitress would be helping us and he would be listening in. No problem to us. Heather was great. Very attentive , checked on us often. Food was great! The curry cauliflower app was so amazing! Must try! Everyone had different dishes and all were pleased. Well done! We will be back!“

“I've been here multiple times over the years but am finally reviewing this place. Their woodfired pizza is astounding. If you want to feed a lot of people (or even just a few people) this place will give you tasty, high quality pizza for a reasonable price. I've had many of their pizzas but this time around I got the Stoker, which has all their wood-roasted ingredients and a hint of spice (picture included). Another favorite ofine is the Burlington Northern which has pears and prosciutto among other items, and it may sound weird but it is so good! Today I enjoyed their Looper Amber Ale which is a very nice amber, biscuity and a touch of sweetness (and honestly I'm not a huge amber ale person) as well as their Watch Hill Hazy IPA, which had a nice typical hazy IPA fruity flavor. Definitely recommend coming for a nice lunch or dinner, their outside space is amazing even in winter!“

“Downtown venue with inside and outside seating. Welcomed immediately by friendly staff! Food offerings change monthly. Large tables inside, some high top tables and new low tables with cushion benches. Many draft options and a cocktail menu. Love the vibe and the outside area is open year round! Always a favorite while in Traverse City!“

“I love getting to go here whenever I get a chance to visit Traverse City. Kind of off the beaten path of Downtown. This place has a brewpub vibe while also offering their own beer and others brews as well so they can serve pretty much anyone. Their food is top notch and a great place to drink some good beer and eat some good food. Simple as that.***Update***Went again, still great! Great NA selection!Parking: Parking is kind of a disaster, but that has nothing to do with the business. Just the location“

“We love 7Monks and as “locals” we are regulars, visiting almost weekly year round and bringing a group of friends with us for drinks and food after music rehearsals. Love the broad beverage selection and elevated food options. Terrific staff. Keep up the good work!! (One request - please consider switching from the very strong/unpleasant disinfectant you use. Appreciate the commitment to cleanliness but it’s definitely an off-putting/strong smell and has been brought up by several people we know.) see you soon! ???“

“Kind of a dive place but SUUUUPER fun and GREAT food. Our server Julie was hopping all over the place and kept us informed of when our order would be ready (they were really busy). My husband had the Bo Rito and LOVED it, I had the Thai salad with chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was cooked PERFECTLY. Not at all dry! The salad dressing was amazing. Seriously, I could eat this everyday. I had my first whiskey sour here and it was wonderful. Just wish they had a hot buttered rum. No one makes them anymore! It's quite the local hangout and Julie seemed to know everybody. There is a pool table, a bar you can sit at and restaurant seating for (I'm guessing) 50ish people. On Saturday mornings they play classic cartoons and breakfast is served all day everyday.I can't wait to go back. I only hope Julie is there when I do!“

“We got there right as they were closing the kitchen, around 8:30. Chris was great. She let us know and got our orders in, no problem! The burgers were delicious. The Boom Boom Wrap was amazing as well. Can't go wrong with the Reuben either! Great people, atmosphere and food. What else could you ask for? Thank you!“

“We visited Sleder's for dinner on a Friday night. We atarted with a bowl of clam chowder. For our entrees my wife got the smelt dinner and I got the cod dinner. Our kids got burgers. The food was solid. The chowder was flavorful and it was easy to tell that it was made in house. The fish was tasty and fried well. The fries were a little under crisp and under seasoned for our liking, but I've definitely had worse. To be honest I didn't eat many of my fries as I was trying to make the most of the Friday "all you can eat" fish fry, and focused on my fish.It was a really cool place that was clearly a favorite of locals, and the solid food and friendly service coupled with the fun and quirky decor makes it easy to see how this place has been around for 140 years.“
“The sweet bar tender was the most enjoying feature, personality, kindness and respectful . I got so drunk I can't remember her name, but I'll always know that blonde sweet soul, my buddy Alex and I enjoyed it. I believe her name was Kim? But a sweet lady.... Thank You For My First LONG ISLAND ICETEA. 5☆“

“The atmosphere was mello. The furniture was super comfy and Iin really nice shape for a 5 year old restaurant. It looked new. The food I ate was the traditional giro with lamb and beef and fries. Everything was so tasty. The flatbread tasted freshly baked. Quality ingredients make the difference here. I strongly recommend this place as a Tucson foodie.“

“The food heat was great, the pulled pork, melted in your mouth. The brisket was super tender. The ribs…mine were awesome, tender, juicy. My bf unfortunately had one that was half tender and half over cooked. I’m sure was a fluke. The whole hog quesadillas were fantastic as well. The staff were friendly. And the place was very busy. We got there at a good time with no wait, but it looked like there is usually a longer wait time.“
“The view is what makes this place. Small bar with a few tables and about 6 or 8 bar stools, a bit older feel, but fantastic view over Traverse City. It's not what it once was prepandemic. Hopefully, they can bring back that same vibe and elevation. They do offer small plates in the summer season. No gluten-free options but includes tapas like margarita pizza, white fish dip (they were out of today), firecracker shrimp, wings, fried potato nachos, a potato pizza (I hear that's pretty good), and a few more items.Evan, the bartender, was friendly and remembered our drink orders from the previous visit. It's definitely worth the visit for the view while having a few cocktails ? and hoping they do a bit more with ambiance and vibe/energy of place to enhance the experience.“
“We showed up around 1030pm on a Thurs night in Jan 2024. The bar was dead despite there being a DJ there. The bartender was very sweet and helpful. We stayed about 2 hours dancing and paying the DJ to play better music. There was about a dozen people there and they were chill. Loved that they had nonalcoholic beers, and good ones too! We'd come back!“
“We loved our meals! The kids actually cleaned their plates completely (chicken tenders and cheeseburger). My husband and I got the Salmon, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere inside was like being outdoors, very cute. We had a very nice server, who kept us well cared for despite being there over spring break week. Thank you!“

“Great tacos/bowls for the price! As a vegan, I'm a big fan of being able to customize your meal. Food has always been made quickly and correctly, except for one time which they quickly resolved! David is also one of my all time favorite servers, really nice dude! I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the music in there is almost deafening.Dietary restrictions: Great vegan and GF options!“

“Pizza is ok, really enjoyed the French dip sandwich! Didn't really care for the stromboli, cheese lacking flavor. Service is very good, very outdated interior but has a lot of character due to how old it is, did notice it was clean inside, not one of those stale beer smelling bars.“
