“We hosted our baby shower at D’Amato’s in December, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Everything was great! Only down side was that the portion sizes were super small, especially the Mongolian beef. But it was all so tasty. And our server, Maggie, was PHENOMENAL! “On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “Simply Good is a life saver. There are so many meal options, plus great add-ons, their house-made hummus is hands down the best I’ve ever had, not to mention the take and bake chocolate chip cookie. The beef stroganoff with noodles never misses, and the chicken piccata is truly to die for. Everything is delicious, nutritious, and so practical. It’s also my go-to gift for friends who just had babies or need a little extra love.“

“the deluxe pizza was amazing!!!! we did half without onion and it was very difficult to see which half it was. also if you choose a medium for 2 people, you're going to be hungry, the slices are tiny. the employee working there wasn't very customer oriented, didn't say a word after handing me my pizza and didn't really greet me“

“They have the absolute best gluten free options! They have a separate preparation area for gluten free items too so no chance of cross contamination! Their sandwiches on their own house made gf bread is delicious and their gf soups are also absolutely divine! Considering how pricey most gf items are they keep their sandwiches and soups at an affordable price!“

“We first went to imperial in 2024 on our first visit to Detroit. As soon As we landed, we drove straight here for a meal that we knew would satisfy. The service is always fast and friendly ( ask your server for recommendations for food, drinks, activities they won’t steer you wrong). We opted for the taco of the week ( vegan chorizo and creamy), imperial Sonoran and tostada, as well as the nachos. We were all stuffed and happy. Shout out to Pricilla“

“Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“I am always on the lookout for a good cupcake bakery especially since the 90 year old Knudsen bakery in North Rosedale Park closed when The owners retired. Since I was at the business next door, I had to stop in and was so happy I did. A larger selection of regular and gluten free versions. They also have cookies and even dog treats. The cupcakes were $4.75 each and worth every penny. Some of the freshest ones I have had in a while. Moist cake and rich icing. I got 3, carrot cake, chocolate cake with vanilla icing and vanilla cake with vanilla icing. The service was friendly and efficient along with being pleasant to talk with. Has parking lot. On the SE corner of Longlake and Woodward. I hope to be close to it again so I can enjoy some of the best cupcakes I have had.“
