“Back in town and couldn’t wait for dinner at the Social Sloth Cafe and Catering in Okemos. 😋 They make the absolute best chicken in town and top it with their homemade dressing. You can order it with rice or make a “keto bowl” over top of a green salad. I matched it with my favorite caramel latte to warm the soul on this cold windy day. ☕️ +10/10 and you’re missing out if you haven’t stopped in lately!“

“This is the lesser known “good” Starbucks in town, in my opinion. The others hardly mix your drink and just shove it to you in a rush, this location employs people with excellent attention to detail. Interior and outside the building is gorgeous.“

“I wish bigbys had more seating that is more secluded. There's often a lot of people sitting inside, and it gets very loud and difficult to have a conversation with someone. People meet here for business, which is great, but they need more private seating or a way to make it not so loud. They have tables crowded together to fit more people in, but it's hard to speak and focus when a table 3 feet away is talking and their voices are loud because of acoustics or something.“

“I've been stopping in here for 4 years now. I pass 2 Biggbys and a Starbucks, but I've always stayed loyal to this branch. Staff are always in a great mood, positive vibe in the store too. Always clean and I don't think they've ever been out of a drink I've asked for either. While the faces have changed a little in my time visiting here,the new ones are always just as kind and sincere as the last. I also visit this one mostly upon open,but am known to stop in at random times during the day if I need an extra " fix " to get me home.“

“Anna's House in Okemos is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in the area! The food is always excellent—everything tastes fresh, clean, and made to order. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend trying the fresh-squeezed juice—it's worth every penny! The vibrant flavors will brighten up your morning.

One thing to note: the waitlist time is a bit misleading. They're always busy, but be sure to check in before you arrive; it dramatically reduces your wait. I do wish the waiting area was a little larger to accommodate the crowd, but the food and service more than make up for it. Definitely worth the visit!“
