“We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Deadwood Bar & Grill in Northville and were blown away. Every dish impressed us—from the tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs and bold BBQ flavors to the giant prime rib sandwich. The twisted potato fries were crisp and fun, while the cornbread muffins were soft and moist. The Cowboy Mac & Cheese was rich, creamy, and loaded with pulled pork, and even the club sandwich was generously sized and a hit with our kid.

For dessert, they surprised us with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for his birthday, making the evening feel extra special. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and eager to offer great recommendations. The outdoorsy atmosphere was fun, too. We’ll definitely be back for more!“

“Great spot. Got home after a long weekend, flew into DTW and we’re headed up 275/96 and always struggle to find a good spot so searched this one up in advance. About 30 min from DTW, pizza was amazing, we had the margherita, stuffed cheese bread, and aroncini. Everything was delicious and cooked fresh to order. Great east coast style thin crust, tangy sauce, wish this place was closer to home so we could go more often!“

“Supernatural is pretty amazing! The staff are really cool, friendly, and did I say cool?! Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! “I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“We went for a ladies breakfast and they accommodated our table of 11 without issue. I had the red olive omelette with gluten-free toast and it was great! Apparently they have a lot of gluten-free options: pancakes, waffles, toast, pita bread. Other ladies had lunch salads and other breakfast entrees and everything looked delicious! Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous, and service was outstanding! Many of the ladies had special requests on their orders and everyone was accommodated! I will be back with my family!“

Went to stingers for a drink since it’s been a while since we’ve been here. I sat down and I had my beer right in front of me before I even ordered! The girls working are always so friendly and enjoy our time there!!

“I had the best burger today for lunch at Wintergarden Tavern! I got myself a tavern burger, with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms! All I can say is WOW! This burger was absolutely divine, just so delicious. I can’t even put it into words! I asked my server if the cook could make it as rare as possible, and boy, chefs kiss it was perfectly rare! I chose to have well-done steak fries as my side it paired with Burger absolutely perfectly. 10/10. I can’t wait to go back for my next cheeseburger fix! Best Burgers and bar in Livonia hands down. If you don't like red meat, I think the ``Slow Roasted Prime Rib'' is extremely delicious as it is tender, has a concentrated lean flavor, and has just the right amount of fat. Personally, I like it when I choose a baked potato as an accompaniment because it neutralizes the meatiness.“
