“The Coolidge Cafe is a nice local neighborhood diner in Oak Park, Michigan. It provides all of your traditional diner foods and a host of non-traditional cuisine as well.

I recently tried their corned beef melt and it was really delicious. The price was right and the portion was fairly generous. The service was friendly and very efficient. I'll be back again to try other items on their menu.“

Our group had quite a few requests, but Hunter handled everything with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. “We came to The Whitney for an early birthday dinner for my husband. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience there! The staff went above and beyond my expectations. The food was amazing and cost was much less than I would have expected for the caliber and presentation of our meals and dessert. For all of you paranormal afficionados, their Ghost Bar is a must. The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. “Food was good and service was acceptable (nothing special) but you had a group of 5 guys leave your restaurant last night somewhat bewildered after your waitress Katarina made it quite clear she was not happy with the 20% tip we gave her. Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.“

“I had the chicken wings and garlic aloi fries. The wings was really good, big wings and had a lot of sauce on them. It's 12 for 20 which to me kinda expensive. The fries was disappointed in 7 dollars for some fries that's half of them was soggy. There was little cheese on it. The ones that was cooked was okay. I wouldn't highly recommend it but I would give it another try if different cooks was working. Saw one guy had to give his wings back before me because they was under cooked.“

“I got the small spaghetti & meatballs as well as the spaghetti sandwich Eminem's way. Food was DELICIOUS!! Absolutely worth the price! The small came with 3 big meatballs & loaded with grated cheese. It really was ahige portion for a small. The sandwich was also soooooo good even as leftovers!!!! The bad.... I waited like 15+ mins in the rain to order. I walked inside half way through the wait to look for someone, never found anyone. Went back outside & waited with 4 more people & no one ever came so after 15+ mins, I went upstairs to the store & asked for help. The girl working found the cook (who also takes the orders) & just happened to be on lunch. I wouldn't have minded waiting if there would've been a little 30 min break sign up or something. Honestly it seemed like he either hated his job or he's definitely overworked & maybe the only employee besides the girl upstairs Even though customer service was not good, the food was amazing & I'll definitely eat there again next time I'm in town.“

“We had a really great first experience at Beppé. My husband and I stopped in on a weeknight for a light dinner. We shared the croquettes, the beet salad and the rabbit pasta. Wow! Really tasty food, the standout was the beet salad on olive oil whipped feta. Really beautiful, thoughtful dishes using high quality ingredients. Wait staff was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We sat on the patio and had a really lovely all around experience. Will definitely recommend to friends.“

“This was my first time at Zeffs.i was headed downtown to Jury duty and needed breakfast. It was 6:30 am. The employees were so pleasant early in the morning which was a plus. “We were instantly greeted and seated. Our server Robby was awesome. The entire staff was friendly. Chef Johnny is very talented and friendly. I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.“

“The shakes were amazing! The atmosphere was so cute! I'm so glad we had the chance to check this place! We will definitely recommend it to anyone we know who will be in the area. My only complaint was the staff could be a little more welcoming and enthusiastic. The lady at the door was on her phone on a facetime call when we came in (which she did appologize for but didn't get off the phone) and the waitress just seemed short and not really happy. She wasn't rude and got our order right, so I still gave it 5 stars. It just seemed with the atmosphere that they would be a little bubblier and more enthusiastic. But I would still definitely come there again. I still gave 5 stars for service because maybe it was an off day and like I said they didn't mess our order up and were quick.“
