“If Google would let me give 10 stars, I absolutely would — all thanks to Tim. I don’t know what kind of employee training they’re giving him at Subway, but this man works like he’s the Gandalf of Sandwiches.

I came in fully expecting a basic “grab a sub and go” kind of trip, but Tim turned it into a whole experience. He greeted me like I was a VIP, built my sandwich with the precision of a heart surgeon, and somehow managed to keep the entire store running smoothly while cracking jokes and being genuinely friendly.

The man remembered ingredients faster than I can remember my own birthday. He layered that cheese like he was crafting a masterpiece. And by the time he toasted the bread, I was like, “Okay Tim, I see you—Michelangelo could NEVER.”

Even during the rush, he stayed calm, professional, and hilarious. You could tell the entire line was in a better mood because of him. Employees like Tim are rare. Subway, if you’re reading this: protect this man at all costs and give him a raise, a medal, a crown—something.

If you want your sandwich made right and want to leave smiling, go to this Subway and pray Tim is working. He’s THAT good.“

“I’m hoping this review will help the ownership course-correct their staff. Jersey Mike’s is a good overall concept. I know they have mostly Gen Z people working and supervising, but here is a huge issue. There is never a time when I order something from this store in Lake Orion, and the order is correct. They do not read the order slips. I place my order through the app. Today, the sandwich I ordered was supposed to have 3 different meats, they only put two. On my order, I asked in special instructions to go easy on the oil and vinegar. I literally watch them put a normal helping of oil and vinegar, and then put a side of it in the bag. As the super was finishing the sandwich I had to tell her to put mayo on the sandwich per the order I had placed. It’s very frustrating that they cannot read a piece of paper and do what it says. It’s not difficult. I really wish there was a Publix in Lake Orion. The sub is half the price and twice the quality. If you’re gonna charge $20 for a sandwich, the least you can do is hold your staff accountable for delivering a quality experience for the customer. Yes I tipped on the app which made me even feel more ripped off.

Update: Management was nice enough to reach out to me about my review and offer restitution for the bad experience, and most importantly said they would make improvements with the staff by having higher expectations when it comes to following order instructions. I will update my review again after my next experience.“

I voted and then went to Potbelly for my sandwich and malt. As I paid for my purchase I was offered a Free cookie because I had a, I Voted sticker on my jacket. “I love the food they have gluten free giant subs which are always my favorite. And they make sure to ask if it's because of allergy or if it's just a preference. But the people that work there always have a attitude and have zero customer service. They just seem so upset to be there. And it makes it feel awkward standing behind the counter while a angry person is making your sandwich lol 😆 and the music is insanely loud. But the foods good so what ever ill keep coming back. I asked her about why and found that she intentionally does this just to add a little sunshine to the world. “They are clearly understaffed right now as I’ve been waiting on food for over an hour. Spoke with an associate who offered to remake food for delivery which I appreciated, but I could also tell they were slammed. I felt for the employee so said just send the food. Understaffing is certainly an issue in this industry and many others, but solutions need to be found for the interim. Business models adapted, etc. I know that’s a corporate thing, but freaky fast is a bad promise in understaffed economies. It sets the tone for standards to be a certain level, and when it’s not met it turns what could’ve been a good experience into something disappointing- because of the implied expectation being sold to the consumer. This isn’t fair to consumers, or employees. The ceo needs to be giving franchisees options for these times, because as it stands they’re setting their employees up for failure daily.“

“Yo hear me out. I've been to this subway many times and I'm never upset with my sandwich. There's a bearded dude who says everything's better with shredded cheddar, and he's right. Plus he makes a fantastic sub.
