“We came at 11pm on a busy Saturday night and we were seated almost immediately. It was a little loud but to be expected on late night weekend. For drinks I ordered the Friend of A Friend, 10/10 for sure. We ordered the garlic knots and got the grandma, pesto, and meatzza pizzas. The Pesto was definitely the star of the evening. Our server Paige was awesome and made us feel right at home. Would gladly come again.“

“I just grabbed lunch here (to go) and it was amazing. I had the house coconut avocado smoothie while I waited for my food - so good. I got a spinach, mozzarella and Italian sausage cascione (grilled and stuffed flatbread…the dough is also homemade) that was delicious. I also got the grilled cheese and ham (don’t judge me! 😂) the cheese was a Gruyère with black truffles and the ham was from Dearborn. Also tasty. I would definitely go again.“

“Everything about our experience was phenomenal!! We brought our 88 year old mother out for a birthday lunch and she loved the place. We were a party of 6 and the restaurant was more than accommodating. Our service was extremely exceptional...Rebecca was so great she timed out the food and course perfectly.our glasses were always full and she brought out a complementary dessert with a candle that was much appreciated..thank you Rebecca for making our time so lovely!!!“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Happy Hour was terrific in the capable hands of Casa Pernoi's associates! The associates were warm and welcoming. The house wines were wonderful. The food was terrific. Fresh Olive bread and a dark wonderful cracker with lightly salted butter were delicious. My Rigatoni in Spicy Palomino Sauce dish was done perfectly: Al Dente pasta, with the right amount of spice, and just the right temperature! Loved the Meatballs in Marinara too! My companion loved his fresh Caesar Salad as well. Finished with berry sorbet (smooth!) and fresh coffee. If you're driving for the tableside Alfredo service though please read on ...
My husband and I went out there for my birthday specifically to get the pasta that was made in the cheese wheel tableside. We made a reservation for Sunday night and were told once we ordered that we couldn't get it in the wheel like on the menu (the menu doesn't listed any restrictions on days/times when it can be done). When we asked why it had something to do with how many managers were on staff at the time, which we understood. Then when my husband asked when would be the best time to come, only Fridays and Saturdays were the options. My main take out of this is make sure if you're driving out for that to call ahead and make sure it's available on the night you're booking.
And secondly... To Andiamo... Please mark on your menu or put some kind of information on when that is realistically available. We drove over an hour and a half and made a trip around going to Detroit for this dinner and I'm sure other people do the same if not drive WAY longer for that experience.“

“The pizza is the best! The round pizza is more of a New York style that has a crust that has a nice chew and those yummy cheesy bubbles that occur from baking. Service is always a plus. A hardworking and friendly staff. The atmosphere is that of your quaint neighborhood sports bar that's always been around. It's cramped but not uncomfortable. Cozy if anything.“

“We went there for our 21st anniversary dinner since we got married there 21 years ago. Great server and great food. The fried calamari was light and came with the best marinara. We tried the suppli for the first time and it was great. The tableside Caesar salad was the best I've ever had. We ordered the chicken parm and gnocchi for our entrees and loved them. The chicken parm portion was huge. We will definitely go back.“

“Really delicious. The menu is limited, which I think is a good idea as it allows the chef to add and remove items. The Suppli de Teli risotto balls are not your typical Arancini floating in tomato sauce. Your first bite is a mouthful of flavor with a slightly vinegary, black pepper, delicately cheesey and risotto flavor. Don't miss the cheese smear under the Suppli. It adds a light sweetness to the peppery bites. Truly an excellent appetizer. We also had the Polpette appetizer with a deep meaty flavor in the meatball and a delicious tomato ragu reminiscent of Sunday gravy in it's depth of flavor. They offer a meatball sandwich with these meatballs; we will be trying that! For our meals we had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Cocoletta (veal chop). The Alfredo sauce is made in the Italian style. Rather than cream, it is made with cheese and pasta water. Really delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente with a great chew and topped with black truffle ?. The veal chop was cooked to your preference and huge! Mine was med rare and was seasoned perfectly. I never even looked for salt or pepper. Delicious! The baby potatoes were crispy and perfectly seasoned and the asparagus was baby finger sized and grilled well. We were too full for dessert. The wine offering is small, but well curated. We had no alcohol this time. Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: The usual offerings: salad, margarita pizza, a pasta dish. Minimal, but you can find something to eat.
Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free pasta. I didn't check to see if the pizza had gluten free options.
Parking: Parking on both sides of the building and on the street in front.“
