“We hosted our baby shower at D’Amato’s in December, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Had a 9:15 reservation on Valentine's Day and was not able to get sat until 9:40ish and food took 45 minutes to get to us. This was all completely understandable telling by how busy they were. The entire staff was on top of everything and did an amazing job that night. Because of the long ticket times without even asking they discounted 50% of the bill because of the inconvenience. Will 100% be back what a lovely establishment.“

“I would just like to start off by saying our server, Carter, was so charming and caring! He is fantastic at his job and sure knows how to elevate service! So much attention to detail and making sure my group was comfortable throughout our stay. The chicken alfredo is okay but nothing that stands out from another Italian restaurant. Although two of my group members loved the octopus! They couldn’t stop talking about how good the sauce was and ordered bread specifically to keep trying it. The environment was amazingly dark but still lit! Took my group of four 20 minutes to be sat on a Friday night.“

The drinks were good and paired really nice with the Tuscan chicken I had that was beyond fresh and very filling. My mom had the lemon chicken, as she described the chicken was very juicy and tender to a T. The portion of the pasta given makes everything great, from the taste and flavor while, if need you could take it home! “This review is long overdue.. this is definitely one of mine and my husband’s favorite places to eat. The consistency of the food and service along with the continuity of the staff says so much. Last night I reluctantly tried the steak siciliano because I was raised with my grandma cooking this and I couldn’t imagine eating someone else’s.. let me tell you, it was phenomenal! By far, our favorite menu item and we’ve eaten everything here! Please keep up your standards of food and service here, you guys do it best! “It's been a while since our last dine in experience as we've been carrying out for a while (they do a great job of grab-and-go). However for Mitch's birthday we decided to dine-in and couldn't have enjoyed a better experience. Mitch had his fave, chicken parmigiana with Angel hair pasta and I had Chicken Olivia - my favorite with artichokes. It was served with sweet pea risotto and roasted veggies. Yum! For dessert Mitch's birthday cannoli was delish. And we added their unique 20 layer cake- that we'll have leftover cake for the rest of the week - so big!! Next visit won't be so long!“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Took my wife for her first time Valentine day we enjoyed the show , not sure what happened with server’s we were given dessert before dinner , dinner was chicken risotto mine was under cooked so I ask could they redo it they was like sure but when it came out it was worse so no dinner for me or my wife, wofe doesn’t like to send food back but I could tell hers was too she only ate the chicken.“

“This is by far my favorite pizza place! Not only is Green Lantern my favorite pizza company, but this is BY FAR the best Green Lantern location. I have never had a bad experience with Green Lantern and never received food from this location that didn’t more than exceed my expectations. My go to is a round double pepperoni pizza with a toasted sub. Their subs are so good too; they have coleslaw on them which you would think wouldn’t work on a sub but they’re absolutely delicious. They even give you a pickle and a couple peppers with the sub. I get take out a lot but I love to dine in here once in a while. The atmosphere is great, pretty chill and relaxing. You even get free popcorn to snack on while you wait for your food and sip on a nice beer, a yummy cocktail, or even a good old glass of pop. They have the very best pepperonis ever!!! They get all toasty and crispy, they’re so good!!! Green Lantern truly is the king of pepperoni!!! To Green Lantern: You guys are the best! Keep doing what you’re doing!!!“

“First time here. Tried the Chicago style. Heavy! The sauce and cheese are very good. Sauce is very robust & tomatoey and the cheese blend is more flavorful than most places. The inside is small, typical of a pizza joint. Couple of chairs and tables adequate while you wait.“
