“On 12/27/22 my husband and I hosted a dinner for 18 to celebrate the marriage of my daughter and fiance. Everything was superb. Our server, Cindy, did a remarkable job. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The food was excellent, as well as the Sambucca.”

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! Rheanna, Sarah and Joe will keep you coming back. I would rate DCs staff a 6 out of 5. Thank you for making this a comfortable and fun escape from everyday life!”

“The food is really good and the server we got was very attentive. Though when walking in several skimpy dressed hostesses and wait staff walked by us and didn't welcome us or even smile and say hello, we'll be right with you, etc.
I felt the atmosphere was nice but most of their staff seemed to be like I said before very skimpy dressed woman who didn't seem to want to be bothered. Maybe that's the atmosphere they are going for? I'm just glad we didn't get one of them as our server.”

“I’ve always wanted to try food from Verona Inspired Italian! I regularly check out their weekly specials on Facebook and couldn’t wait to finally try them out. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious and amazing. We started with the bread and butter- yes, we actually started there because it was that good. We even asked for another basket! Then came the Eggplant Tower, and wow - it was fantastic. I’m a big fan of eggplant, and this dish was perfection: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and pickled onion. You really need to try it to understand how good it is. For the weekly special, we had the Emperor Red Snapper. Absolutely incredible. The Tomahawk Pork Chop and the steak were both delicious as well. Our cocktails and beer were spot-on. Service? 5 stars. Thank you Joy M. The menu has so many tempting options, and we definitely want to come back and try more. P.S. That bread? We took another portion home. So good.”

“My husband & I had our anniversary dinner here for the first time. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was the best we ever had! He ordered the ribs, I had the crab stuffed shrimp, and creme brûlée for dessert! The bread, the side salad, the coleslaw… literally everything was absolutely delicious! And on top of the yummy food, our waitress April was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience even better! We definitely found our new favorite restaurant!”

“My friend and I went yesterday with our kids and had a great lunch. The hostess/waitress at the front played with my daughter and made her laugh. When the fire scared her, she came over to comfort her and my daughter reached for her. She carried her around until she had calmed down. “Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.”

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. Before coming, I read a lot of reviews mentioning how fresh and flavorful the rice was—and they were right. We weren’t disappointed at all.

“Took our first trip to this place just last night. Has a little bit of everything for those not looking to stay seated during dinner. Food took forever though and was decent. Waitress was a little lost with constantly asking our table of 6 what they ordered and whose drink went with whose order. Other than that the atmosphere was pretty cool. We played some cornhole, which was decently priced by the hour ($10). Plus they had classic arcade games, free to play like Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Frogger, and Donkey Kong along with 90’s classics like Mortal Kombat, NFL Blitz and House of the Dead. Plus over a dozen pinballs. Arcade area was a sight to see since most places now use carnival or ticket games. They also had a poker room which was full. Did not see any pool tables, darts or disc golf so not sure if those get removed during poker night. I’d consider coming back but not during their busier times. It was more than half capacity but id imagine an even further delay on food or your wait staff being really lost handling more than 20 orders at multiple tables. Either way I’d recommend it as long as you aren’t really hungry going in or don’t like huge crowds.”

Came here for my son’s birthday, and he said it’s in his top five Thai places. Considering he just got back from traveling in Asia, it was high praise.

I would definitely come back here again. Clean, great food, and great service. Restaurant is dine in, with nice size booths, and a few four top tables.

This would be a perfect date spot, great for families. Nice size menu, but not over the top. You can tell this place makes a few things very well.

Pop comes in cans, no fountain option.

“I always go with the classic BBQ chicken piZZa (no pineapple, as that's not kosher). It's a pretty good pizza, only two issues I would say. 1.) the hard pizza shards from that classic deep dish style end up lacerating my poor pathetic mouth to ribbons. 2.) the sodium content is incredibly high, and I am a fool and end up drinking a ton of water while eating these pizzas, then experience pulmonary congestion and increased micturition. Now i love micturating, but it's no fun micturating all night when you wanna sleep.

Alas, it's a good pizza and a good pizza place. Used to have a lobby to sit down in, not sure what happened to it. It's like walled off or something now. Maybe that's where they keep the bad employees, or the cows they get the pizzas from. Who can say.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggies and you can even get them on a pizza. They'll put a salad on a pizza too! Or you can do it yourself. Whatever

Dietary restrictions: They'll bend over backwards to meet your dietary demands. Gluten free soda, gluten enriched pizza sauce, whatever it takes.
