New American Restaurants near Utica, MI

“Went to Savory Grill tonight (11/14/25). The food was fantastic! Staff so sweet. Great atmosphere and loved that "diner" feel. I miss the days of seeing people sit at the bar eating their food, talking with staff, and just enjoying it all. Great place. I wish it was closer to me. Thanks Savory Grill!“

“Excellent food and service“

“Been here a few times and always feel taken care of. Lots of options and knowledgeable staff (especially as a celiac the GF options are ACTUALLY an option)

My girl Z will ALWAYS take good care of you and makes you feel like she loves her job and loves being your server. She charms my nana every time and I’m forever grateful for staff that has the patience to entertain her. She even brought out a dessert for her and threw in some sparkles in her drink just to make her feel so loved and special during her birthday. Above and beyond. She’s the BEST.“

“For my 65th birthday and my soon to be dauhter-in, laws 25 birthday we celebrated at J. Baldwins! The food was excellent. Soooo good, I've never had better food. I even ordered 2 other meals and dessert to take home! I recommend this restaurant as a 20 on a 1 - 10 scale it was that yummy! 5 stars!“

“Today was our first visit with the family. After leaving Anton Art Center, we found this Gem! Across the street from the Firehouse. Everyone loved their meal, large portions and very good food. we will be back, absolutely 💯“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. We truly appreciate her as well the other staff who make this a GREAT place to be!“

“Good food, nice staff. I carried out and ordered the nachos, once. The beans and cheese were missing from the order, which was inconvenient but stuff happens. I didn't realize it till I got home. The staff took care of it and were professional and courteous. They made me a new batch and gave me extra sides for the order I took originally. So I ended up with 2 orders. They were both delicious! Lol... I will go back for sure.“

“best food ever And a distinguished staff👍👍“

“the food was delicious, and the customer service was awesome I WILL BE BACK ❣️❣️“

“12 burger joints in one day. We ranked them all and Comet was at the top overall. I was just taking bites at the last 3 but we did it. 140 miles. Was it a ton of fun? Yes! Will we remember this forever? Yep! Would I do 12 in 1 day again? No flipping way 🤣“

“My experience was fantastic!! Being the first time here. We went for a late lunch early dinner... The bartender was our waitress. I've been to other places where we have been served by the bartender that only cared about the regulars. She was awesome and very attentive. My dirty martini was on point! The burgers are huge and delicious. Brussel sprout app was delicious! Great onion rings. We will definitely be back!“

“Went to Rochester Bistro last weekend, taking clients as our guests. The entire staff did a wonderful job, food was outstanding, attention to detail. Overall an excellent experience. Thanks so much for making our evening special!! We will be back.“

“I cannot say enough about this amazing place. The food was amazing cooked with perfection and flavors that were amazing. we happened on the restaurant on a whim and even though it is an hour+ drive we will be returning at least every couple months.“

“Best liquor store in Michigan! An excellent variety, good prices, kitchen food is amazing, and the staff are the most professional and kind. Always feel like family when I make my purchases from Alan D liquor store!“

“Excellent atmosphere, tons of fresh beer taps and fun table games. Everyone is so friendly and great vibes all the around. Highly recommend!“

“I’ve been a fan since I accidentally found the place 3 years ago. Service was absolutely amazing. Both Samantha our server and Tanner he bartender went above and beyond. Super friendly and professional. Best burgers and drinks around by far!!! Definitely worth stopping in you’ll become regulars.“

“I had a pleasant experience with this place. All of the food seemed fresh, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very vibrant.

The 2 times in which I went, our group sat outside, being that it was summer. They had trivia, which I assume is every Wednesday.

As for food, I got the caprese sandwich on the first occasion and the then the Tomato basil soup on the second. Both were good but the caprese sandwich was very good. While the menu is not huge, it does offer the basics and has a few healthier options, such as vegan dishes.

Overall, the atmosphere and food qualiy make this place worth checking out.“

“Our waiter Justin was great. The manager was very friendly and kind. The food was delicious. We definitely recommend to friends and strangers. We will definitely be eating there more. This is the only only online review that I've ever felt the need to post.“

“Just left The Chocolate Gallery with one of Jasons cherry scones. Absolutely delicilous“

“Great food and great staff! 10000% recommend stopping in“

“we always go here for breakfast they have always had great tasting food and great service. the place is clean as well.“

“My family has eaten here several times. Service has always been exceptional. You came to my rescue when our Thanksgiving plans fell through and my out of town guests needed a place to have dinner. Your take-out saved the day and the food was good and plentiful. Thank you for being there for us. We all enjoyed a great dinner and know we can count on your pleasant service in the future.“

“Another small hole in the wall restaurant that are always far better then big places.
Only open for breakfast and lunch and nearly always a line to get in. Locals love the place tucked in behind a drug store.
Food is great and you get a lot which makes the slightly higher prices easier when you have enough for a second meal later.
Still a regular spot a year later for the reasons above.“

“We enjoyed our dinner with a group of family and friends. Our service was excellent and the additional staff helped out nicely to deliver our meals together and hot. Very nice bourbon selection and several nice signature cocktails. Decor was upscale modern look. Only negative is it was a bit loud?? I'd go back.“

“Their food is always so delicious. It is served hot, looks appetizing and served by very kind people. Their fish and chips are the best around. Also they amazing almond boneless chicken and the salads are absolutely delicious. Great dining experience also, the owners are polite and the cooks know how to put a good meal together. 😍❤️“

“Our usual date night choice! And everything was perfect again tonight, just like always! Dianna was a great waitress! I wanted to talk to the manager & tell them how great she was. But we had ro get going! We definitely recommend this location!“

“Burger was good, probably top 5-10ish in Metro Det imo. Drink was fine. Sourdough and fries were both super overcooked. When I made the reservation it said you could only hold the table for 90 mins for parties of 2. We were asked to leave the moment it hit an hour and 15 minutes.“

“We had a wonderful breakfast!
Highly recommended!!!!
The Special was the #8 and it was delicious! I believe that it was an excellent value.
The decor and atmosphere are great!
Our waitress and the server we're perfect!
We will definitely be back when we visit Romeo next time
PS- it was kinda fun to visit this building since I remember going to the BigBoy (a family favorite)throughout my childhood in the 80's
Thanks for serving great grits!!!!“

“Absolutely the best most amazing place I’ve ever eaten. not only is every single thing I’ve eaten here delicious, but the service is 100/10.

Me and my sister come here every single week, multiple times. ( we gained most our pregnancy weight here hehe ) if it wasn’t for this place I wouldn’t have had a nice balanced diet and properly gained the weight I needed because I struggle eating pregnant.

My sister just had her baby we even came here right before she went to the hospital for a final meal before labor 😂 we missed out on a few weeks but just came back yesterday. We couldn’t stay away for the food is always a huge craved obsession.

My daughter loves it too 😂🙆🏼‍♀️

Krista, and the chef Franco have become such wonderful parts of our enjoyment here, always check in on us, how we’re doing, and remember the smallest details. We’re always excited to see them, my daughter gets overly joyed and calls them besty😂❤️. Definitely Can’t forget how amazing and sweet Yvonne, Nicole and the manager Chris is too. Never a bad time with any of them, always such good conversations. They’re all such a breath of fresh air and make the meal even more spectacular.

If you haven’t been here yet, definitely stop by ❤️ you will be in for such a treat.

Pricing isn’t bad, quick service, Happy atmosphere, good music

My mother even said she’s been coming here for years too and everything on the menu has always topped anything she’s had at any other place.

Don’t miss out 🥳“

“Was not disappointed. Food was good.“

“Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!“

“On my visit back to the ROB, I was looking forward to my Go To dish of Beef Stroganoff, only to find out it's no longer on the menu. What a bumper. So instead, I had the Shepard's Pie which was very delicious. Our server was Erin M. She did an excellent job of watching over and serving our needs as required. I request that she be acknowledged by higher authority for a job well done. Today's visit to the ROB was again a pleasant experience. Bring back the Beef Stroganoff and you will probably see me more. I need my Stroggy Fix. :)“

“Nice Staff. Michelle and Erica and Gary were great. definitely would recommend classic Lanes“

“Great food and great service 🙏🏾 highly recommended if you’re in the area“

“Love everything we’ve ate there!“

“Great food , large portions, been there 1/2 dozen times , top notch!!“

“I’ve never had a bad meal at any one of their many restaurants. We celebrated my daughter and her graduation this evening with dinner at the Deer Lake Inn. Everything we had was great and the server we had was superb, great food and service. The entire menu is good, you can’t go wrong.“

“Great place! Paul made us some of his delicious cocktails, and the meatballs were on point. Very creative menu.“

“Amazing food; great service; portion sizes were huge!“

“This comes from a chance experience with this location. Our son wanted chicken for dinner, and we made a quick decision to try this location. The five star rating is based primarily on the young man who was our cashier. His customer service was exemplary of what you want from customer facing employees. He was incredibly cordial and welcoming, informative and engaging. I sincerely hope that he is being groomed for management. The food was good for casual dining. The tenders over the fusion fries were very tender and tasty. The fries were perfectly crispy. Even while cleaning up our area and planning to leave, the young man was simply a joy. We continued to talk about his great service during our drive home. It's certainly made our day.“

“CK Diggs is an absolute gem near downtown Rochester! The food was amazing — everything we ordered was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We tried the boneless wings, nachos, quesadillas, Reuben sandwich, Southwest pasta, Cajun steak strips, pretzel bites, and Beijing beef — and every single dish was delicious.

The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and fast. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual night out or a relaxed dinner with friends.

The Cookie Monster and carrot was was beyond delicious.

If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere close to downtown, CK Diggs is definitely worth checking out!“

“Love this place food is great coffee is good they are clean and friendly here .always come here to eat“

“Great place great food great service great stuff“

“This place has been around for almost 20 years and this was our first time. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and they offered us a private room, “The Hop Room”. We can’t say enough about the food, staff, and overall experience. We’re beer nerds, so our party basically tried every beer on tap. I should have gotten a growler of the Disco Lemonade. All of the brews were SOLID. Between burgers, pizza, apps, and their craft sodas, everything was on point. Not one person in our party had an issue with their food or drinks. Except for a small sample of their grapefruit mead. That’s a no from me dawg. But seriously, everything and I sincerely mean EVERYTHING else was on point. Our server was fantastic and on the spot with everything. Show this place some love.“

“We went there for Valentine’s day me and my husband February 14/ 2022 the food was so delicious The service there is very good. Nice, quiet and romantic place and fresh food we ordered Lasagna with meat sauce Spaghetti with meat sauce and Caesar Salad And Bruschetta For dessert tiramisu & Flourless Chocolate Davently Recamended 😍👍🥰“

“I have come to this restaurant off and on for years. We have always liked the food and the staff treats us like family.“
