Jon, the new owner, was so nice and hospitable and very passionate about what they’re serving. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, so I’ll definitely be back to try more. “Would love to give this place 5 stars because it is a cool, local, historical spot, and the food is usually always good! However, I've noticed since we've been coming here for the last year that the service is hit or miss - either great and attentive or the waitor doesn't clear the table/ not fully attentive - and it could be cleaner in some areas.

BUT! I would say it's mostly always worth the visit! They do have outdoor seating for the warm months, and during the winter they have a beautiful, cozy fireplace (darling on a snowy day dining with family/friends).

Be warned when eating here that the train comes through, and it can be loud. Precisely why it's called Sidetrack Bar and Grill! Some people may not like that, but many enjoy as it reminds those of the history of the location.

Fish tacos, the Shepard Pie, and so many of their sandwiches are delicious! Great tap beers and other cocktails (and mocktails) available!“

“I came inside due to live music being played. The musician Spenc Beamon was awesome! He played multiple instruments and it was a great vibe of songs to dance a bit in your seat and enjoy a brewery vibe. The service was good and the food was ok.“

“Finally had time to try Moody Brews today and it was more than worth the 30 min drive from my house! I got the Hot Honey Pizza Bagel on an Asiago bagel and I seriously think I found a new favorite snack 10/10. As a mom to a 2 year old and a 10 month old I need my fair share of caffeine to get through the day and I definitely got it with my Tiramisu Iced Latte! The young girl taking orders at the counter was so sweet and kind I didn’t catch her name but she was doing a great job. They were pretty busy when I was in there but she was holding it down. “We've eaten here a few times. The food was great each time, and our server was terrific. It's tough to find restaurants with consistently good food and service. As a former server, it is hard not to notice every detail, and I am super picky about food. I just ordered a carry-out for my family, and I expect the quality to be the same. Definitely recommend 👌“

“We started off with the chicken wings they wer good. The chilli and lime shrimp was good. It does have some spice. Portion could be bigger. Could have a couple more shrimp or a little more rice. The burger was good. Squash was good plamento cheese does have some spice but I do like spice. Over all the flavor of everything was good.“

Decided to try another location, Wayne road! Oh my goodness, like day and night!!! Had my order placed in two minutes, food picked up 15 minutes later. My order was correct and very delish! “My family and I had just returned from a long, exhausting flight, and we were not looking forward to a three hour layover. Upon hearing our growling stomachs, we decided to get a bite to eat, not knowing what would transpire. We found ourselves in a long line of hangry airport-goers and it was taking a lifetime. But the second Hamza stepped up to fill in, the line didn’t stand a chance. Hamza was a dream. He made me and my brother’s burritos lickety split and was incredibly friendly to us all. He cheered up our little brother who was having a bad day by calling him “King” (because his burrito was so full). I don’t know what else to say other than Hamzad changed my day for the better. He has inspired us in more ways than I expected. Even his humble smile and impeccable sense of duty—he gets the job done while making it fun. Hamza is a testament to the good in this world. Whenever I come back to Detroit International airport, my brothers and I will be the first to come to Qdoba, just to see him again. People like him give me hope for the seemingly bleak future. Kudos to the cashier as well he was pretty cool“

“I live in Lansing but frequent the area. I’ve not had White Castle in something like 20 years and it’s still the same classic sliders that I loved as a kid. Staff was friendly and the place was really clean. Big fan! 10/10“
