The turkey ruben i ordered (The Rachel) was delicious. I was so happy to see they had a healthy choice for a side, steamed broccoli, and it was good. Their salads look amazing too. “Boardwalk has been my go to sub spot for over a decade. Unfortunately I moved to a different state now, but anytime I'm in Grand Rapids I find my way here.
Their menu is great, but one of my favorite things to do is just walk in and have whoever is helping me create their favorite or experiment. This particular evening Kayla and Grace did not disappoint and gave me a great take on their turkey & prostini.
The staff has always treated me great and the quality of food has been consistently wonderful.“

I want to give a shout-out to Patience Humphrey that works there. She has excellent communication and every time I go she is always working so hard and she does everything she can to her best ability and she is overall an amazing worker and she has great work ethic. “I had forgotten my wallet and it had lots of cash in it. I looked around all day for it and then I realized I might’ve left it at Jimmy John’s. The very nice people there had started in the back for me to come get it. They also gave me a free sub card, which was really really nice. Their sandwiches are great. Everyone there is super nice. “My wife and I wanted Subway for dinner, but have had poor experiences with our closest store (Grandville). We decided to go to this 28th St. store. I had The Boss, and my wife had the Garlic Roast Beef. Both were really good! The service was good also. I wanted to point out that there was a young man behind the counter that obviously was in training. That's OK, everyone goes through the learning process. What stood out was that even though he was new, he greeted us with a smile, and asked what he could get started for us. Well done young man, I'm sure do a great job!“

“I've never usually eat inside the dining area inside, usually order 💯% take out, for delivery 🚚, I haven't got past the #15 Tuna Club double the Tuna + Oregano, the potato salad is unreal amazing unbelievable, better than Homemade potato salad 🤤, but for the tiny amount they give you, doesn't match that price unfortunately, little too pricey if you ask me, but I have tried the potato salad, to say the least, it's awesome, better than homemade, but too pricey, the delivery time is unbelievable, don't know how they do it so quickly, awesome delivery service 💯%👍

The person who made the ordered labelled her Sandwich " Sarah the Ugly". *edited* The store handled the situation. The delivery driver took pictures for the Manger on Duty. The M.O.D. called the GM all before I could make my way up to the store. I'm told that '"human" was fired, was not the only issue with said employee. The GM did call me, I have not yet returned his call and will in the future after. Just got busy today. I could tell everyone was sorry and embarrassed that we have to have this conversation“

“I visited this location as it was on my way to work. I walked in to order and the girl just blankly looked at me. No greeting, no smile, no how can I help you. I asked her if she was taking orders. I order two sandwiches and brought them into work. My bread was so crunchy on the bottom it was as though it had been toasted. Not the best visit, probably won't go to that location again.“
