“It looked like the servers were closing up for the night, so I double checked they still for sure wanted us to eat. They did! And they were so kind and welcoming and offered information we didn't know without having to ask. I have been told if you see el pastor on the menu, order it! I knew enough on my own that lengua is a rare treat so yes definitely ordered that and got a beef Taco. All superb! All cooked perfectly. We were just happening by from an hour and a half trip. Now we know that when we go to Westland again we go to El Mariachi! I'm so bummed I didn't see the elote on the board at first because my little boy loves that! So we will have to come back. “We've been twice in three weeks. Everything we've tried was excellent. We'll definitely be going back. It's a big open space with tables (and a small second floor area) which means there's a higher than usual level of background noise. Because the food lives up to the reviews you may have a short wait to dine but the meal will be well worth the time.Parking: In the evenings there's plenty of open shops, loads of people and less parking than needed. You'll have to circle around once or twice and you shouldn't waste time looking for the perfect spot. Grab any open spot.“

“My daughter and I were looking for a good Cuban sandwich and found this place. After reading the other reviews, we knew we had to place an order here.As soon as I walked in, Bob, the owner, greeted me by name. He was contagiously happy! He is a delight to talk to, and happy to explain how everything is made in the store.We got take out and it smelled so good we almost didn't make it home. “Listen! Mr.Miguel’s was a good time! The atmosphere is everything. The music was playing in the parking lot before we even got inside, we walked right into good music and bingo. Very fun atmosphere, friendly, and age-wise mixed crowd. The food exceeded our expectations! Make sure you go “loco style” on your fries and please get a prickly pear lemonade! “Stopped by to check out the trucks at the food truck lot. I ordered 2 burritos. The food was fresh made but seemed to take a long time. I asked for no cilantro and I got what seemed like extra cilantro and no onions. It was even written on the wrapper but not right. Disappointed and the rest of the food was fine but unremarkable.“

“My daughter had a small wedding and everyone that went to the wedding went to Don Tacos for dinner after. There were 19 of us. Our server was very friendly and organized. The food was wonderful. They let us bring the cake in to serve after we ate. The experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend Don Tacos!“

“The staff don't speak English as a first language, making it a bit awkward. They are fluent enough to serve with a beautiful and genuine smile though. That smile was almost as wonderful as the food. “There was a downpour minutes after I placed my order. While I was getting ready to brave the rain, the young lady who took my order knocked on my car window. She had an umbrella in one hand and my order in the other. I told her that she didn't have to do that but she said it was no problem. “I've been eating at various Qdobas regularly since 2016...but i usually chow up in Troy since I live close to there. However I had business to do down here so I thought I'd try this one out. No offense to Troy or any other location, but I absolutely fell in LOVE with this place...including Ariona! I mostly order odd combinations but she listened and got me EXACTLY what I wanted without repeating myself, is fast, has a tremendous demeanor, is very friendly but not overdoing it (which tells me its genuine) and not that yall care but she's beautiful as well Haha. Also Kyla on the register was great as well. I tried not to beg Ariona for the rest of my visit to come work at the Troy location the whole time since this is so far away Haha. Food is fresh and the place is clean (unlike most others). And, I was there about 3 hours (waiting to do what I had to do close by) and everyone waa still laughing and pleasant when I left at 9! I didn't wanna leave! I'll definitely be back! A thousand stars!“
