I decided that a McDonalds Mc Flurry would ease the pains that can encompass the revolving earth. With the easy entry from County Road E and ample space to get into the multiple drive-thru, I was greeted nicely over a well placed speaker phone. The worker asked politely what I needed from the large and easy-to-read menu, explained the price along with the choice and amount showing on the screen.
Then, as though I had met an Angel, the worker at the window, Daniel was waving at me and directing me before I got up to his station. With probably the best smile on the planet, and an attitude like we had been friends our whole life, he took my cash and immediately gave me the change, all while asking me how my day was proceeding. How wonderful to have such a spirit or daily messenger improve the wear and tear of the trying day. And as he waved goodbye, still with the empathetic smile, I moved forward to get my ice cream treat and it was there for my wishing hands and palette.
I exited the McDonalds with a new beat in my heart, a new hope for the goodwill of man, and a new joy for the sometimes, fortuitous world.
