“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“The cafe/tea room is a gem. We had a wonderful bridal shower here for 18 guests. Inna was the contact person and was very helpful in organizing. We purchased an assortment of 5 different pastries and the Honey cake. Everything tasted wonderful and professionally displayed to be served individually. The menu has a lot of variety and reasonably priced. I appreciated the taste and freshness of the salad I had. There were many positive comment about the food (pirogies, salads, soups and crepes). They had special touches with tea cups and pots, cloth napkins, fresh table flowers and the decor. The staff was very attentive, as they were also serving regular customer. The atmosphere was relaxed. We had a successful celebration.“

“It was okay…. Kinda disappointed with the lack of friendliness from staff. I came in just to get a coffee with my 2 year old. We didn’t attempt to see the cats or anything- I knew she was too little. Just looked in the windows while we waited. One employee completely ignored us. The one behind the counter did the bare minimum…. My coffee took a LONG time and we were the only ones in the store. We left right away. Again I did NOT let my toddler run rampant. She was very well behaved. Coffee wasn’t very hot. I’d still recommend if you were going for the cats. But unfortunately not for much else“

“Welcoming & a Vibe. This is a real gem, a diamond in the rough. There is no place quite like Cafetto. It is punk, it is cozy, it is filled with music but it’s peaceful at the same time. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and apt at making the perfect cup of joe or chai of choice. If you need a place to vibe, work, or have some fun (especially with the plethora of pinball machines in the basement), this is the place to be. I just wish there was a location in St. Cloud, but to me this place alone is worth the drive!“

Hubby had the grilled ham and cheese and subbed onion rings for the chips. Another winner. Had strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert- was really good and hit the spot. Laura was our waitress, attentive and friendly. Will be back!“

My husband had the fish sandwich along with the potato salad and some bakery items. All were very tasty! We can't wait to come back to try the breakfast menu!“

“This is a great place. The owners are cool and fun to talk to. The baked goods are very high quality and affordable. A lot of other bakeries have stuff that tastes like bland butter mixed with sugar but this place has very good flavor. Not too sweet, high quality ingredients. They also sell food such as sambusas, ful and tibbs which are fresh and tasty! The coffee is good too“

Apple cinnamon pastries are delicious. I took an extra one home with me. Eggs benedict sandwich was okay but less flavorful than expected. The store was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere.“

Perhaps what I was feeling was the beautiful sunny Sunday morning that greeted everybody in a nice way, or maybe it was just the thought of everyone with similar values enjoying a meal together in the same place. Either way, I had a delightful and slow-paced Sunday morning breakfast at Seward Café. With 27 menu items that are either vegan or can be made vegan upon request (all clearly labeled), you won’t have a hard time finding something enjoyable to eat like I did. “Just moved to the neighborhood and this place is incredible. The folks are super friendly and everything has been delicious. The first time we went, we sat in the dining room and they have a back room with a table of billardettes. It was super cool to see folks playing and learn how it works. My partner is Eritrean and the Awaze Tibbs and a veggie platter were a smash hit. Since then, we've had cheese steaks and espresso drinks. Both were delicious. They roast their own coffee beans and even sold us some. We are also looking forward to the upcoming Eritrean community events they have advertised. Only critique is the bathroom could use some love. It doubles as a storage closet/shower full of cleaning supplies.“
