“Love that it’s veggie forward - broccolini, mushrooms, others have us coming back for more! But that pub styler burger with dijon mayo is to die for and such a nice treat. The cake is delicious and outdoor patio in the summer is very niceDietary restrictions: Accommodating“
“Hidden gem of a cocktail bar! Fantastic drinks in a vibey atmosphere. Keep in mind, you will probably want to book a reservation ahead of time, but reservation is easily done online. Come here if you are willing to spend more on a drink for excellent service, passionate staff, and great vibes!! I had the xocolatl cocktail, and an off-menu NA mocktail- both were delicious.“
“The food and ambiance was great. I was not disappointed by those aspects. My main issue was two things. My wife and I don't drink, and after we politely declined, the waitress became extremely pushy on the rest of the menu, trying to upsell us on our main courses along with ordering extra sides (we had already ordered 2), salads, and deserts. It seemed like we were a waste of her time because we weren't ordering alcoholic beverages. We had spent around $285 for the evening, so it wasn't like we were only ordering the cheapest options. The other was a first for me, which I felt should have been disclosed prior to the bill coming, which was that there was a 5% surcharge on the entire bill. I have not seen this before and was confused as to why there was a surcharge.“
“I feel so blessed to have this gem of a coffee shop in my neighborhood! The Pork Cutie is one of my favorite sandwiches on earth, I'm deadly serious. They're always playing great music, the staff is friendly, and every detail is intentional and unique - what more could you ask for?“
“This is slowly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in the whole Twin Cities area. Our server was Amanda H and she was absolutely fabulous. She took great care of us and was super knowledgeable about the menu. This will definitely become our weekly/monthly hangout. ❤️?❤️?“
“I’ve been here several times but not in a couple years. Just returned for brunch and it was spectacular as usual. Jeremy was super nice and knowledgeable and we sat close to the kitchen so it was cool to see them do their thing. Bravo again Martina team, you guys never fail to impress! ?“
“This place is 10/10 and the people are 20/10! I was there last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday and they went above and beyond with helping me pull off the surprise. When some of the balloons I had floated off, they got a ladder to get them for me. I brought a cake with me, and they provided plates and cutlery for us which I did not expect!! Everyone was absolutely incredible and I’m so grateful for all they did. THANK YOU.The drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful. It’s a wonderful place for a date night, hang out with friends or a place to celebrate your birthday. I highly recommend!“
“-small tacos, kind of loud inside but fun atmosphere, great but somewhat inaccurate service (order got messed up), and delicious cocktails!I had a delicious chipotle camarones taco and pastor taco (both quite small like smaller than a usual taco). My friends said the steak taco was not very good (not super flavorful). The Paloma was delicious and served in a cool tiki cup but a little small. The burritos were giant and good. Be careful because the hot salsa is very spicy according to my friends. Parking can be a headache (some street parking after 6pm or 3 small spots reserved for Nico’s off street). Guac was decent but very onion forward and quite expensive for a group“
“Great little find. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and alcohol they are serving. They even have a selection of spirit free drinks that taste amazing! As a person who does not drink, it is great to find a place that actually makes true cocktails without spirits. Will be back.“
“We had a great meal here! The cocktails were wonderful, the pizzas were delicious, and it's always a good sign when the veggie side dish is the star of the show.We ended up going with the Korean BBQ pizza and the Unami Mama and both were absolutely delicious. The soft serve for dessert is a must try. One of the best spots around, make sure to get a reservation because this place is BUSY“
“Me and my significant other arrived and we were seated in a timely manner (the bar) and had the pleasure to enjoy some extraordinary drinks and food. We had tried some of everything on the cocktail menu and were absolutely impressed with the quality and the taste of all of it. Highly recommend stopping by for some drinks. We also enjoyed the cauliflower and the chopped cheese, both of which were delicious and warranted their own visit should the craving arise. Overall an excellent experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff who cared and were attentive.“
“Staff told us that there are relatively new owners and the menu is a bit different. They have a good variety of vegan and gluten-free options. We have been here a few times and have tried all the vegan options, including the jackfruit creme brulee - all excellent.Plan on spending more at this Indian restaurant than others.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free option available.“
“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“
“We hosted our company holiday party at Steady Pour and it was the PERFECT spot for food, drinks and socializing. The space is both charming and intimate. The food was delicious with great coordination of amount and crowd pleasing bites. The staff was super easy to work with in planning as well as hospitable and friendly throughout the evening of the event. I heard nothing but rave reviews from coworkers about Steady Pour and many exclaimed “I’m for sure coming back here!” I would strongly recommend Steady Pour to anybody looking for both an event space and/or an evening out.“
“Minneapolis Cider is a great place to host a group gathering! It was easy to work with their catering area. The staff was friendly. We rented out the back pickleball courts, so people did need to go to the front bar to get drinks. The charcuterie board and vegetarian samosas were good.“
“My wife and I went to Jasmine 26 on a whim and we could not be happier with our decision. The staff is amazing and the food was wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had so much fun creating our hot pots and enjoying all the restaurant had to offer. We brought our 3 teenage boys the following week and they all loved it as well.My wife loved the lamb. My seafood loving son really enjoyed the shrimp and scallops. I really enjoyed all the veggies and mushrooms and how they took on the flavor of the soup. We will definitely be back.“
“Unfortunately wasn't able to enter. We heard great things about the late night cocktails available here. There was an extremely aggressive man screaming at the bouncer to "Do Something!!!" . While the bouncer did his best to deter to the aggressor, we still never felt comfortable approaching the entrance.“
“Absolutely delicious food. Everything is flavorful - I rarely eat my rice and beans when I get Mexican or Tex Mex and I cleaned my plate here. The Filipino elements like the sisig add a nice bit of variety to the menu.Truly a unique and awesome experience. Can't wait to come back.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for tacos, burritos, and enchiladas as well as some salads and veggie lumpia“
“The atmosphere and cocktails were beyond incredible! The creative names behind each cocktail was fun to see on the menu.My boyfriend and I were able to book a tour of the distillery with the owner, Ralf, and learned about the process and flavors of the different spirits. So much hard work and dedication goes into the quality of the cocktails. All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!“
“I recently dined at Fhima's, where Sean, the sommelier, provided an exceptional experience. His expertise shone as he recommended the perfect wine pairing for the Pulpa dish, enhancing the flavors and making the meal truly memorable. The thoughtful guidance added a delightful touch to the overall dining experience, making Fhima's a must-visit for those seeking a harmonious fusion of exquisite cuisine and expertly curated wine selections.“
“The staff was great right off the bat, specifically Mario. Welcoming, helped with decisions and checked in on us the perfect amount. The food was FABULOUS. Especially the Chicken and Beignets and tropical mimosa. The vibe of the place alone is a 10/10, I thought the food was well worth the cost and didn’t find it to be overpriced at all. Can’t wait to come check out during dinner service!“
“First time here. First impression is the amazing service. Michael and Max are a dynamic duo. Extremely personable. They look you in the eye when answering questions. And Max is hilarious to boot. Very fun entertainment. Not to mention the cocktails are really incredible. They will make and adjust your drink until you are 100% satisfied. Will be coming back for their cribbage tournaments. Even though we live on the other side of the metro.“
“One of my go-to places but I'm dropping a star because the last several times I've gone the kitchen has closed early because they're slow despite there being multiple patrons in the resturant still (not just the bar) so I've been having to call to make sure the kitchen is open still prior to going and even then they can't guarantee it will still be open by the time I get there which is a little frustrating. Otherwise great atmosphere, food, and drinks.“
“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and presented authentic Japanese tastes and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed her table setting was set up to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kado No Mise provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“
“I've been to Copperwing a few times and have been thoroughly impressed each time. They have a wide array of beverages and the rotate seasonally. I got a strawberry and banana milkshake type beverage that used clarified milk. It was so smooth and sweet but not overpoweringly so. I also got a drink based on the Big Lebowski's favorite - the white russian. It had a coffee foam on top and went down easily! I love trying the new drinks here. Service is great, you can either order at the bar or use the QR code at your table and pay right through your phone! They bring the drink out to you and it's super convenient. There is also ample parking in their free lot.“
“A beautiful venue with unique drinks, but our experience was exceptional thanks to our server Hailey J. She was so professional, recommended drinks specific to our likes, and took the time to get to know us. We will definitely be back because of this!“
“Wow! Perhaps one of the best pizzas ever! The crust was incredible crunchy, flaky and light all at the same time. I had the Buffalo pizza, my wife the Olympian (like a gyro and Greek salad together). Here's was on the GF crust and that oven made it delicious. Efficient and friendly. Nice clean space. Good beer selection too!“
“Excellent date night experience.Small, intimate and quaint. Delicious, unique, with fantastic service.Ordered the bruschetta as the appetizer; pappardelle and cannelloni dishes, as well as a cannoli for dessert.Including the wine and complementary Italian bread & oil, every single thing that went down our gullets was dynamite. The cannoli was one of the best we've ever had.The only downside, purely of my personal preference, is their menu is on the smaller side and consists of rather unique meal options - as compared to maybe a more Americanized Italian establishment. I'd come back to try only a couple different items on the menu. That said, we will definitely be back and it will be a place we bring friends and family from out of town. Worth every penny spent.Parking: If arriving for an early dinner, there should be plenty of street parking available. During peak rush, you might have to park a block or two away.“
“It's a bar with a restaurant. Kitchen seriously needed some ventilation. Very smoky in the restaurant, not burnt smoke, or cigarette smoke, but just good ole fashioned kitchen smoke. Be warned when they're serving their brunch menu in the morning they do not offer their a full menu.“
“Came here for my birthday tonight and it was the best dinner ever!! I wish I got the hostess/waitress name bc she was soo nice. I was obsessed with the food!! Can’t wait to go back. We got the burger, chicken karaage, brussel sprouts, & for drinks the pool rules & dino chicken everything was 10/10“
“Volstead's is a fun place with great drinks, great music, and delicious food. However, the entree portions are very small for the price. The market fish entree for $22 included maybe 4oz of fish and maybe a quarter cup of rice pilaf. The cornbread for $14 was about 7 inches in diameter. The server was slow to refill waters and run food. Go for drinks and the music, but eat dinner first.“
“Food was good, but the service was below average. The people working there were fine, but they only had two people for the entire restaurant. The greeter and the bartender. Hopefully they can hire more staff because those two employees looked visibly tired as they were doing their best.Because of that, service was slow. If you are going to charge $18 for mac and cheese, give your servers a $1 more per hour.“
“It was kind of empty when we went, but the staff was so kind and the atmosphere was cute & cozy. The food was SO good though, and reasonably priced. We got 2 empanadas, a pizza & a beer, and the total with tip was ~$50, which was perfect for a chill date night. I would definitely go back for everything we got, I want to try all the empanadas on the menu. 10/10 recommend“
“This local "dive bar",checks all the boxes. A nice mix of standard beers, craft beer, and beer from a bygone era (Old Style on tap). Short menu (small grill next to the bar) but the sausage patty burgers are the best. And don't forget the potato salad. I am always amazed with the bartenders who can serve drinks to a full house and grill food in-between pours. This place is the epitomy of NEMPLS“
“I brought my boss who was visiting Minneapolis for the first time to this place. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. Though for some reason we only ordered four items and ended up spending $150. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, because he paid for the meal. So I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you for making corporate spend money on me. The staff were great and again, the food was incredibly delicious.“
“I had dinner here with my wife and her parents. The food was excellent and so were their signature cocktails (which I'm usually not impressed with at most restaurants). My wife and father-in-law do NOT recommend the house sauce on the half bird. They got some on the side to try it and said it was very sweet, and they did not care for it. Also, don't get the corn bread, you'll be disappointed. The service was good, but it was SO obvious that they've trained their staff like Soviet propagandists to ask you the exact same question, verbatim, every single time they come to your table. It gets tediously annoying, especially when you hear every server around you at the adjacent tables asking it too. They sound like robots. The management needs to stop micro-managing how their servers talk in order to sell more. It's tacky. The atmosphere was nice. Nothing really to complain about, but nothing really to write home about, which is fine with me if you're eating good food with good company. (They have TVs with muted sports games on in both the indoor and outdoor dining areas if that matters to you.)Enjoy!P.S. I think we spent about $200-220 before tip for 4 people (which included at least 4 alcoholic drinks).P.P.S. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio, and they have a doggy menu. (I've brought my dog there before during brunch.)Parking: If you go when it's busy, I highly recommend parking in the free lot across the street rather than trying to park in their super cramped lot where you can't turn around if it's full. I think there may also be limited free street parking, but I don't recall.“
“Always a great experience here. I am a transplant from CT and it like many higher end New England establishments. It is priced about the same, as well, so check their menu prices on line before you decode to bring a date. A good bottle of wine, two entrées and a shared dessert for two usually drops between $250 and $300. It is well worth it. Everything is always prepared perfectly and the portions are pretty generous.“
“The white waiter was Awesome, the black lady was rude. She threw my friend chicken down as if she was mad at her, then mixed up an order and rudely said oh it's where it should be not sure if she is right or not and of course she was wrong. Overall my niece Mya was stunning for her birthday party.“
“Affordable upscale in downtown Minneapolis. It's nice to find a place where sit down entrées range from $20-30 and it provides a good setting for a business meeting. I had a steak, which had a bit of an Asian theme to it but was delicious.“
“It was great. This is my 3rd time, and It has become my lucky spot. They take care of me and my food allergies and they have super good burgers and burritos. The people working there are great and the service was super quick.More of this fav. place soon.“
“Calling all tequila connoisseurs! Not enough vegetarian options--I think just one taco option as of today's date--but it's still a very good place. Tastes authentic. Cozy but city vibes. Bartender was good company. Tequila is also great to look at and taste.“
“Edwards is an interesting place. Yes, they specialize in desserts. But they also serve cocktails. And small savory plates. And ice cream. Most of the desserts are quite decadent, but they also have cookies and simpler sweets. We picked up pastries to go. I had the spiced blood orange cheesecake. It was tasty, but quite soft, almost pudding-like. This was unusual. Not my favorite, but still good. My husband, however, loved his Rocher mousse, which was made with hazelnut chocolate cake, hazelnut chocolate cremeux, and hazelnut crunch. He also loved the dessert he had the next day, which was essentially a chocolate cake topped with ganache-filled chocolate coated balls. As you can see from the photos, the desserts are beautiful. They run $13 each, which is on the expensive side. Still, for a treat, they are quite worth it.“
“Had a fantastic dinner at the bar. The staff gave great recommendations on some items I hadn’t considered, and they were excellent. Great service. The staff was also very professional with a guest upset that there was automatic gratuity with his large party (it was posted, and frankly, this guy was just cheap, and it’s why restaurants have this policy). Excellent service, food, and atmosphere.Try the egg rolls and double cooked pork“
“You can get a delicious veggie burger or the same burger with a beef patty. We had the fries, brussel sprouts, french onion burger and the “philly cheese steak” made with mushrooms and it was ALL delicious! Owners were great and they even treated us to a pie for Pi day on 3/14!!! Great and unique wine list was also fun. Prices were great and tip was included!“
“First time at Protagonist, had a mid-week business lunch. Food was really great, we both had salads which were super fresh and with a nice selection of ingredients. Who puts thick cut bacon in a chef salad! Service was friendly and prompt. Just a heads-up, my phone took me to the garage, and there are no signs to the restaurant from that south side. Just go into the building and you'll see it.“
“Stopped by for an early dinner, there was no wait, which was nice. Had the crab cake as a starter, and that was delicious. Our waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She had excellent timing - knew when to pop in for refills on drinks and waters and overall had a very positive attitude and vibe. We had the Burgers and fries for dinner, and they were amazing! The French Fries are addictive. The only bummer was the limited menu. Everything we had was great. We would have loved more food offerings. We will be back, we had an excellent experience.Parking: Street parking only, read the street signs so you don't get towed.“
“I highly recommend this amazing place!!We got to sit at the two cozy lounge chairs in front of the bookcase. Molly, our server was perfection, very friendly, checked in on us just the right amount, recommended wonderful drinks (all were fabulous)!!My last white drink in the tall glass with the cherry was heaven!! We enjoyed the tomatoe/cheese appetizer with bread. It would be even better will grill sourdough bread instead is the soft bun served with it.I’m looking forward to going back and enjoying all their delicious looking food! And I’m going to bring my kids to The Tap also, their burger looks great and is $11. ? This was such a fun find!! Yay!Vegetarian options: Looked like they had some good options to choose from, we had one ourselves.Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of options to suit different needs.Parking: Easily park on the street for free. ??“
“Been here so many times & I never get enough ?? sooo good!! My favorite wings I’ve ever had & the creamy Tom yum ramen is so rich, creamy, delicious & some of the best ramen I’ve had! Always come here on any cold day to eat me some ramen <3 the staff is super knowledgeable & every single server / bartender I’ve had there knows everything basically inside out which is another reason why I quickly became a regular ?“
