“10/24/2020 6:03pm So happy to have Jersey mikes in town! This is my 3rd time at this current location, first time going into the shop rather then just ordering online! But tonight was by far the most bizarre experience. To start, the young lady at the register was using the plexiglass as a Mirror to re-braid her hair! Legit took the ponytail/binder out of her hair pulled the hair off the ponytail/binder, set it on the counter rang a costumer up and then re-braided her hair!!! (I’m a former employee of a subway, I was shocked!) We had a large order, it’s a new place in town, chaotic. I then got some tomatoes that shoulda been disregarded, never served. I still tipped 10% because I appreciate them being busy and new but tonight was by far mind blowing!“

“Definitely depends on the worker. One calls people “honey” all the time and spends more time talking about her personal life than making sandwiches. A few others are just slow and don’t know the difference between mayonnaise and pickles. Some of them are fast and super helpful. Definitely better off going for lunch during the week. Wouldn’t go at night on weekends.“

“Clean atmosphere, lots of seating around, good sandwiches, and generous portions, but the staff isnt friendly/happy. They dont say hello when you walk in and I don’t think I ever saw any of them smile once but hey, I guess that what to expect when you work at a sandwich shop. They need some music in there to cheer those kids up.“

She was so personable, hard working and extremely dedicated to making sure customers were helped in an extremely timely manner given she was the only staff member. “I’ve been hooked on Charley’s for about 2-3 years now. I first discovered them 2-3 years back. I had just finished visiting the petting zoo they have at the Maplewood Mall that I’d also highly recommend. I grabbed Charley’s for lunch & I’ve been a faithful returning customer ever since. I had some today & like clockwork it did not disappoint. Only thing I’d tell people to watch for is they rotate new items on & off the menu. So today they have a Mexicali I’ve gotten in the past that wasn’t available today. Still tasty what I did decide on just not what I initially intended on eating.“

“It's rare to find a friendly face these days, and the man helping us out was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were getting the best deal. I wish I could remember his name, but I think it was a Hispanic sounding name.

Wheelchair accessibility: There was wheelchair parking with ramp access. Two sets of doors to get inside that were not wheelchair accessible to the best of my memory.“

“The woman who took my order was SO HAPPY AND SWEET! She actually was unsure of how to apply my reward to my order before paying but the person I assume was the manager quickly was at her side showing her how to do it. My sandwich was ready before I even paid, which was a very short amount of time. Plus, it is absolutely delicious! Some of the best roast beef I’ve had in a while and neatly made. Oh, and the woman I initially encountered complimented my dress on the way out, which wasn’t part of her job but made my experience even better. The whole crew made my sunny day off even sunnier!!!
